The economic growth rate of Gross Domestic Product averaged 5.5% per year.

The Deficit averaged $231 Billion per year.

The average Unemployment Rate was 5.28%.

A net of 4.3 million jobs were added to the economy.

Since the Democrats took over Congress (including the legislative and spending agenda) in 2006 (4 years ago);

The economic growth rate of Gross Domestic Product averaged only 2% per year.

The Deficit has averaged $890 Billion per year.

The Unemployment Rate has averaged 7.5%, and is currently stuck at 9.5%.

A net of 5.2 million jobs have been LOST to the economy.

And remember, the “financial meltdown” happened 2 years AFTER the Democrats took over all legislation and spending.

So the question should be asked “Who REALLY drove the car into the ditch?”

The final version of the fiscal 2010 war supplemental was approved by the House on July 27, 2010 by a vote of 308-114. The bill contains approximately $59 billion in spending for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, domestic disaster relief, Haiti, and Vietnam veterans, among other things.

We are becoming foolish and say we will vote all incumbents and Democrats out of office. So what am I saying? Not too much that might appeal to you! America is surrounded by nations who only want to see her downfall. China has a new weapon to stave off American defenses up to 900 miles (ships), Iran seeks the nuclear weapon, Vietnam just given permission for nuclear enrichment, Korea's ever increasing involvement and America is streched too, far, too thin, in to many places. And you, safe and at home continue to whine. A white man once said, "America is a nation of whiners". He was right! America has had it too good for too many years. Now "whiners" contribute to America's downfall. Destruction from within. Let's kill each other! Whiners only contribute to the destruction of America and they continue to whine.

This is why I am no longer proud to have served you! It makes me feel as though I've served in order for Americans to hate each other for any reason. If we don't start working together, rather than for our individual wants, we are not going to make it as a nation. We have lost our drive and determination to remain a nation of people who are respected around the world.

Maybe we have been at war for too long. We are only a breath away of starting to kill each other. No different between Iraq and insurgents.

R. Woodward, the Congress people are supposed to use recesses to go back to their states and districts to talk to their constituents. Granted, many don't listen anyway but that is what they are supposed to be doing and that is why such recesses exist. Modern Congresses spend much more time in Washington than the earlier ones did. Modes of transportation and communications has made it possible for them to spend more time in the Capitol. Perhaps with better use of the Internet they can spend more time there and less in their districts or states but that would mean less time for campaigning too.

Does this mean John bohner will have to come off the golf course?..What about his tan?
