The name is ... Scott McAdams

With Democrats trying to take advantage of the too-close-to-call GOP Senate primary in Alaska between Lisa Murkowski and Joe Miller, Republicans are passing around a clip of DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse unable to name the Democratic nominee ... Scott McAdams.

In fairness to Woodhouse, McAdams' name wasn't on our radar screen until today, either.

That's funny. It has to be an awful feeling to be on TV and you can't recall the name. FR is right, though, about Scott McAdams not being on the radar. I haven't heard the name either until today. All the talk in the media has been primarily focused on republican races because the Tea Party candidates.

From an article by Damien Cave in the New York Times today, on the subject of voter turn-out in yesterday's Florida state primary election:

"Turnout tells one potential story: Republicans, despite a 750,000-voter disadvantage in registration compared to Democrats, brought far more people to the polls.

In all, 1.25 million Republicans cast ballots in this Republican Governor's race, while fewer than 909,000 Democrats voted in the Democratic Senate primary-even though both races were heated and close in the final weeks."

Hmmm...

I guess it's a slow news day today.

I was wondering why no-one at MSNBC has decided to write the true facts about where the money is coming from regarding the funding for the community center being built two blocks from ground zero. (I refuse to call it a mosque because it isn't).

Fox News is spreading lies about the money coming from an organization linked to terrorism, when in fact it's coming from the same person that funds FOX News. Why do you leave real reporting to Jon Stewart while you are printing crap like the above, which people couldn't really care less about. C'mon guys.

Now if he were a Tea Bagger spending millions of dollars of his own money to bamboozle the public everyone would know his name.

John Stewart??? LOL, ya I watched that too. So ask yourself, maybe MSNBC did do the research and maybe they found the answer they don't like? So if Fox is reporting it and MSNBC is not, what do you think is happening?

I do you know it's not a Mosque? Even MSNBC says it is......they wouldn't never lie now would they? Better yet not tell the whole story.

The teabagger candidates offered up by the uberreich wing of the Repubican party are making it easier for people like Mc Adams to win elections. The voters may not know McAdams very well but they know the loony ideas of the teabaggers and so vote for the lesser of the evils or for the guy they don't know rather than the horrible guy they do know.

So why is this a big deal First Read? Dumbya couldn't pronounce the names of some world leaders or world geography in the run-up to the 2000 election and the moron was elected anyway! Now tell us again why this is newsworthy?

    Roy,
This isn't about what NBC has or hasn't reported. Maybe you should watch this clip from FOX Business Channel as they dig into the money trail.

They don't say his name, but the Kingdom Foundation is the personal charity of Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. Why don't they say his name? Because he is the second largest shareholder in NewsCorp which owns FOX News!
