O'Donnell loses to Coons in Delaware

From the NBC News political team
Her unforgettable 'I'm not a witch' ad earned her national press attention, but it wasn't enough to push Christine O'Donnell to victory in the Delaware Senate race.

NBC News projects that the insurgent Tea Party-backed Republican was defeated, as expected, by Democrat Chris Coons.

Republicans in the Northeast can celebrate one Senate victory though. NBC News projects that Republican Kelly Ayotte is the winner of the New Hampshire Senate race.

Could not have said it better myself. I am thrilled the people of Delaware rejected her AND more importantly she helped shed light on the irrational thinking of Sarah Palin. Thank you God.

Feisty,

Please understand, I wasn't talking about you getting donged.

Sorry, if it was confusing to anyone.

I think she saw how Sarah used her VP nomination as a way to get a good paying job at Fox and Christine said- "I can fail at running for Senator". Now Fox can scoop her up, among other things.

Well, unlike your hero Georgie, he actually accomplished stuff on his own, not on his father's coattails.

I LOVE how people pick on Obama for all the crap that he inherited. No one speaks of the fact that 95% of Americans are paying lower taxes because it came in the form of a lower tax rate, not a much bally hoo'd stimulus check. And, far be it for me to point out that Georgie squandered a significant surplus on an illegal and immoral war.

Typical republicant, if its not explaining in great detail how others are cheating, its accusing us of being brainwashed. The crash of 1929, devastated America, two Democrats introduced the Glass-Steagall (Carter Glass and Henry Steagall) Act. So bankers couldn't play with money that was not their own. Although the country may have gone through some tough times, nothing we didn't bounce back from in a few years. That is until republicans repealed Glass-Steagall with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. When G.W. Bush said, "no one could've predicted this" he knew he was full of crap. Democrats made a mistake by not using more information like this.
