It was on video. He wore a jump suit and has hair beyond his butt. His "prayer" was a speech which ended saying Obama was not a Christian. The speaker foramlly apologzied later and had the real chaplain say another prayer. It was hysterical the faallout the Repb. took. Michele Bachmann has contributed to his "ministry" and endorsed his work many times.

It will be intersting to see how your district will change. Bachmann has til June2012 to file for her seat for relection. so if this presidential thing doesn't work out you will be stuck with her.

The biggest problem with Bachmann is that the Republican party is just stupid enough to actually have her as their nominee. I'm not sure who the man was on McLaughlin yesterday who said if Rick Perry, another nut job, doesn't get into the race Bat ___— would be leading the as the Presidential nominee by the fall. Thats how far to the looney right has taken the republican party of which I used to be a member. Even their Saint Ronald Reagan couldn't win the nomination with this crowd.

Its scary when I agree more with Ron Paul than I do with the leaders of this current party. I knew a long time ago - 1980 that bringing in the social conservatives would be the end of small government. These people have no regard for small government, just a government that will impose their moral and religious beliefs on the nation. look at the bills that they have introduced, nothing with limiting the size of government, but plenty to intrude into the most personal decisions and lifestyle choices. Freedom of religion, yes if you are white and protestant - the rest of us need to pack up and make ourselves invisible.

The not missed Glenn Beck made a living out of fear mongering, nazi comparisons, and stoking religious bigotry, unfortunately most of the Republican Party seems to be have drunk the cool aid. Example, Herman Cain's latest statement regarding the building of mosques. Lets remember Reinhold Neibuhr's statement regarding the rise of nazi fascism and see how current republican rhetoric and actions compare - first they came for the Jews (substitute muslims); then they came for the trade unionists (substitute public employees unions); who else do they have to come after before we realize what is happening here.

Maybe the far-right Conservatives should read the Bible more instead of making a mockery out of it. As a young girl I read in a very thick Bible in revelations that the world was not going to end until 40 years after the last rainbow. This is no longer in Bibles. I tried searching and found nothing on line. It gave me great comfort every time I saw a rainbow. So when the religious start screaming end of days and rapture, I saw a rainbow last week and I am not worried that the world is going to end in October or the end of the Mayan calendar.

Religions are not about comfort, they are about the fear of God. The more you fear, the easier it is to keep you in line. Why else does the Republican play the fear card so much? What better way to keep the religious base of your party, scared.

The one that religions most don't want you to hear is that there is no hell to go to after you die. Religions don't matter, all that matters is how you treat your fellow man and that you believe in God.
