I love how people on the Right make so much noise about people that leave this Administration and try to make it about how bad a leader our President must be.

When you look at what really happens you find that most of them become fundraisers and/or organizers to reelect this President.

With much help from Fox News, Van Jones was forced to resign and ever since he has spent all of his time promoting the liberal ideas and supporting the reelection of President Obama. If he were not forced to resign then he would not have had the time for all of his activism.

Feisty come on Willard is going to spend more than that on his California remodel. Seven million is pocket change to this guy. Not unlike George W Mitt needs to be President because daddy ran for it and did not get it. He absolutely needs to be better than dad.

We know about a third of the electorate is Republican, so that "what do you fear most" answer is not surprising. What is surprising is only 33% fear a rise in unemployment - clearly Americans feel we have turned the corner on the recesssion - and that reflects well on Obama and his policies.

Dennis, I would say that the poll results show most of country (based on the poll) are outright afraid of a 2nd obama term and/ are worried about his abject failure with the economy! Replacing obama will improve the economy and then our greatest fears will go away! Just logic.....

Why don't super pacs just call themselves by their candidates names? I suppose their aim is anonymity, like the swift boaters' never had to say who actually funded their cause. giving money to a super pac is like putting a bag over your head politically. Well Mr. Obama will certainly have a chance to renew his hope of, as he promised, "cutting the deficit in half by the end of his first term" when he comes out with his FY2013 budget which comes out in a few weeks. How much do you want to bet it doesn't come anywhere close?

And Dennis, please, these 10 year plan trillion dollar cuts mean very little when there is $50 trillion dollars worth of spending. We need to see the cuts, and not cuts in anticipated growth but actual cuts, in this years budget. Future Congresses are not obligated to these so called "out-year cuts".

I think the fact that we have been raising the debt ceiling since 1919 is part of a larger issue. We haven't been able to pay our bills for 90 years. Of course I am over-generalizing, because I'm not taking into account for the depressions, wars or other economic factors. However you get the point. Its easy to pass the blame. I'm impressed you've given President Obama that much credit.

Over 1 trillion dollars has already been cut from the spending and if you remember Obama wanted 3-4 trillion and Boehner walked away.

Don't forget the additional 1.2 trillion that will be cut.

$1 Trillion is a ton of money to be cut! I mean, imagine if there was a Presidential candidate that cut that in his first year. But, that's nonsense, no one has ever proposed that.

That "Super Committee" was so on par and efficient, that in the first time in our countries history, we had our credit downgraded. That's fiscal responsibility! Wonder why Obama didn't just circumvent the Constitution to make such cuts as he'd like. But, fear not! We have SOPA now that can continue the raping and pillaging of civil liberties in that pesky Constitution of ours. Don't forget, Obama never went through Congress for involvement in Libya. We managed to capture Saddam and went through the procedures to try and sentence him. But, yeah, Obama is the glowing bastian of freedoms and sound economic policy. I bet Obama doesn't even have any funding from Wall Street.

To me it is a sad fact of life in our country today that the security requirements for any President require separate transportation and accommodations when he and his family travel. This costs money. Even though George Bush took many more vacations than President Obama, I never begrudged the cost of providing for his and his family's security. I don't see why every vacation the President takes has to be accompanied by this silliness.

SF, Bush took his vacations at his own ranch in Texas. Obama takes vacations in Hawaii and Martha's Vineyard to hang out with his fellow 1%ers. Which do you think cost the tax payers more? Security hanging out with the 1%ers or a 1,600 acre ranch? My guess is security staying in beach front hotels in Hawaii cost a little more than a hotel in Crawford, Texas

Those who criticize the cost of Obama’s Christmas vacation don’t want you to know that George W. Bush spent at least $20 million taxpayer dollars just on flights to his ranch in Crawford.

The right wing has been outraged at the four million dollar plus price tag for Obama’s family Christmas vacation, and they constantly hold George W. Bush up as an example of how thrifty a president should be when going on vacation.

The problem is that W. wasn’t thrifty. He was the most expensive vacation president in US history. Not only did Bush spend more days on vacation than any other president, but he used Air Force One more often while on vacation than any other president.

During Bush’s two terms, the cost of operating Air Force One ranged from $56,800 to $68,000 an hour. Bush used Air Force One 77 times to go to his ranch in Crawford, TX. Using the low end cost of $56,800, Media Matters calculated that each trip to Crawford cost taxpayers $259,687 each time, and $20 million total for Bush’s ranch flights.

If cost of the flight was the only expense involved to taxpayers Bush’s vacations would still seem rather economical, but there is more, much more. Unlike the Obama’s $4 million Christmas vacation price tag, which includes the cost of everything from transportation to accommodations for the First Family, the White House staff, and the White House press corps, Bush’s numbers only include the cost of flying the president to Crawford. The cost of transporting and accommodating staff, media, friends and family is not included in Bush’s vacation numbers

Did you miss it when he ordered that any international call could be listened to? Did you miss it when Bush ordered that anybody suspected of terrorism could be detained indefinitely - even some citizens - without lawyers. Did you miss it when Cheney joked that a little water (referring to water boarding) was a no brainer? Did you miss that? Do you watch/ read the news? Bush should have been impeached for outright defiance of the constitution. Obama has restored some semblance of constitutional rights. He should more but there was alot to undo.
