It's The N.I.E... Yeah, You Know Me...

Posted: Sunday, June 03, 2007 7:27 PM by Chuck Todd

From NBC's Chuck Todd
Hillary Clinton can be stubborn, can't she. She won't apologize for her vote on the war (like some Democrats want her to) and she won't acknowledge whether it was a mistake NOT reading the N.I.E.

And now John Edwards also doesn't believe it was a mistake that he didn't read the N.I.E. In talking with one very knowledgable source of the Intelligence Committee inner-workings during that time period, this person expressed surprise that Edwards didn't read the N.I.E. He had more access to it because he was on the Intelligence Committee.

That they didn't read the NIE was an abdication of duty, dereliction and gross irresponsibility. Admit it or get in line with all the other airheads who shuck and shuffle for votes they can't steal. What utter disappointments these two have been so far tonight! Shame!
The only question I have now is when will Al Gore get in. Half of America wants to apologize for Bush, the other half voted for Gore in 2000. He's the hot ticket, but maybe his instincts are really that bad.
What Edwards said was that he saw all the material that was summarized in the NIE, so he had all the information. The Democrats on the committee split 5-4 on how to vote. He went with the Clintons on giving a sitting president the authority to force inspections. Neither Clinton nor Edwards were derelict in their duty. Tenet already has said that the information was doctored.
Fair is fair. It's Gore's turn to be president and Bush's turn to be impeached.
The Dems just can't comprehend it can they? The ones on this board do not even metion the fact that these teo and probably the majority of Dems did not read the facts just a summary, did not talk to Bush but Clinton people, did not do any homework at all, just looked for votes! They are disgusting!
