From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Here are Giuliani's "Twelve Commitments," which he is unveiling right now:

I will keep America on offense in the Terrorists' War on Us.
-I will end illegal immigration, secure our borders, and identify every non-citizen in our nation. -I will restore fiscal discipline and cut wasteful Washington spending.
-I will cut taxes and reform the tax code.
-I will impose accountability on Washington.
-I will lead America towards energy independence.
-I will give Americans more control over, and access to, healthcare with affordable and portable free-market solutions.
-I will increase adoptions, decrease abortions, and protect the quality of life for our children.
-I will reform the legal system and appoint strict constructionist judges.
-I will ensure that every community in America is prepared for terrorist attacks and natural disasters.
-I will provide access to a quality education to every child in America by giving real school choice to parents.
-I will expand America's involvement in the global economy and strengthen our reputation around the world.

Giuliani's chief policy adviser, Bill Simon (the one-time candidate for Calif. governor) spent the most time on this speech with Giuliani -- but others have also contributed to the speech, including his chief political aides, Tony Carbonetti, Mike DuHaime and Katie Levinson.

John Doe - I'm mainly after this one fool who waits for me to post something so he can try to rip it up. He changes his name each time so he will be hard to track. I don't try to reason with them. I can't compete with FOX news. This blog is like a college classroom that, for unknown reasons, allows mental retards to wander in and out. They don't contribute anything. They're like pigeons that mess on your car after you wax.
Zippi, now that you have astonished us with your proclamation of superior intelligence, do you have a meaningful comment or are we supposed to be satisfied with your display of spellcheckery?
NO Zippi 7th graders only, we have standards.
Morons. Natives of Area 51. The Feds produce morons in Area 51 and then ship them to all States. Los Vegas, being so close to Area 51, has very large population of Area 51 natives.
John Doe: why do you care who cares?
Dear Dave, you are are wrong, I am perfectly willing to allow George Bush take the credit for the last 6 years and I'll even let you and your friends share the credit.
Oh Spare me. Does anyone else smell a snake oil salesman?
Sounds good to me, but I want something about "I will defend and protect the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms."
Everybody please grab a bag of ice and sit on it. The empty rhetoric is amazing. First of all, I agree with what John Doe said about "far right nut jobs" but want to point out that it applies equally to "far left nut jobs" as well (of which there are just as many). The Right has no lock on idiocy, thank you very much. JIrby, your continual disparaging comments about "working class Republicans" are repugnant and do nothing to advance the causes you so loudly claim to espouse. Perhaps "working class Republicans" have reservations about voting for Democrats because of the rabid rhetoric of quasi-communist leftists that seems so often to jerk the Party of the track of logic and common sense. The way to impress upon others the error of their ways is not to ridicule them but rather to hold up examples of why your way is better, REASONABLE examples like Mark Warner, Evan Bayh, etc. Instead of vilifying middle class Americans of any political stripe, perhaps you should turn your verbal ministrations against radicals from both sides of the aisle. Common ground is found in the middle, not on the fringes. (And no, just for the record, I'm not Ted in Hyannisport, in case anyone is wondering!) P.S. Well said, Bruce in OR, you're spot on.
Zippi and Ted, Hyannisport are the same moron.
Thank you Gerry from Alaska.  It must be hard for people like JIrby who know everything to have to live in a country with morons like me.  Maybe he should move to Iran which is much more united in behind its theoretical and religious principles of dominating the region.  I could just as easily (and with as little truth) assert he is brainwashed by liberal professors or mainstream media, and maybe he is.

This is the best thing I've seen from any candidate, and personally, I'm willing to give Giuliani a chance.  We haven't had a chief executive do anything but whine for several years.  Politicians have a responsibility to present a program of what they want to accomplish, even if some super-intelligent critics can deride and mock that.  So sit back and laugh you geniuses, but you got to give credit to someone for trying.

Obviously, I am just a brain-washed moron though, maybe you can find some dick sociologist or psychologist to prove it too.  So I would appreciate it if you kept on with the morbid, America sucks commentary, because you are a guiding light for the conscience.  Maybe you'll solve our problems and leads us to world peace.  Frankly you should take my money and remove my right to speak, and you should kill fetuses.  Unfortunately, my parents didn't take that step with me and there are right-wing morons like me.  Thanks for enlightening us.
This is the type of vision we are looking for. The diatribe from these posts notwithstanding, Rudy is giving us what we should vote for, not what is negative. Liberals never state what they are for, just negative of what is going around them. This is what brought the Republican revolution in the 90's, and this is what is needed now.
"Snakes on a Plane"--A movie
Natives of Area 51.
Identify every "non-citizen" in this country? Uh Rudy, not every non-citizen in this country is an illegal. Most of 'em have green cards, student visas, tourist visas, diplomatic passports etc etc.
Um, so what exactly will Rudy do about Iraq, the most important war ever in American history? Because the last time I checked, what we are doing in Iraq right now (policing a Sunni-Shiite civil war) doesn't exactly fit #1 above.

Uh, Rudy, maybe you should try finding out WHAT THE VOTERS want first?
On a scale of one to Fred Thompson... he's no Fred Thompson
Well isn't that special .... but what about the elephant in the room.

IRAQ

doesn't seem to be on the menu .. Ahem!!

no matter what:
ALL liberals will call rudy a fraud.
ALL conservatives will call obama, hilary etc. frauds.

this is all so oppressivley predictable.

you aren't here to bring about change.
you are here to complain, like most americans.
ALL politicians tell us what we want to hear.
they ALL make promises and use the i will, i wills.

if you're a democrat you'll never litsen to what rudy has to say, and if you arent listening why do you bother responding.?
one doesn't make sense without the other.

whoesever tail you want to hang from is fine with me,
but don't present yourself as having an educated, original point of view when your comments couldn't be farther from that.

"I will keep America on offense in the Terrorists' War on Us" by failing to show up at all meetings of the Iraq Study Group because campaign speeches and personal ambition are more important to me than issues of national priority.  (Rudy, you're a hypocrit and political dead meat)
One of the bizarre effects of the monster we call the Federal Reserve is that when there is a budget deficit, a nominal "tax cut" is actually a tax increase. That sounds Orwellian, but it's not just language. It's real. The increased national debt is monetized many fold, resulting in inflation that decimates the poor.  Tax cuts when the budget is unbalanced is cruel.

BTW, there was no budget surplus during the Clinton years.  They simply changed the accounting method.  Oh, and they've changed the way inflation is calculated too.  By the old measure, we're running at about 12%.  You have noticed things are getting a lot more expensive, haven't you?

There's a blow-up coming that will make 1979-80 look mild.  The only way to avoid it is drastic reductions in spending - cutting whole departments.  I do not like our chances.
Guliani is a memeber of the same satanic cult that ol Georgie boy is (our so called President)
Elect Guliani and we will get another man who is serving satan and that my friends, is not in the best interest of this country. Pray for wisdom, the religious right was asleep at the wheel as usual, Bushie has been serving satan since 1966 when he joined Skull and bones Secret Society, Wake up before it's too late! The 2008 election is CRITICAL!!!
I'm sick of everyone putting down a good situation...why can't people just have hope these days instead of putting down those who actaully have hope....you should try to believe in the possible....That's the problem these days people complain about the hope and trial of good things to happen, But they don't complain enough about the bad things happening? What is happening to this world? People should be hopeing for the best and the will to have the best rather then sticking with the average and not working hard to have the best for themselves...giving up seems to be easier...Go ahead be lazy and vindictive it won't get you anywhere....
P.S. Have you ever heard of "Trial" and maybe error....well guess what your the beginning of the error if you don't believe in the possible best...
