David Chase, eat your heart out? To unveil her new campaign song, Clinton replicates the final scene of the Sopranos complete with a cut to black just before choosing the song in a jukebox.

We know the suspense is killing you. For the next year and a half, the song we'll all identify with the Clinton campaign is apparently... "You and I" by Celine Dion. More than 200,000 voted for their choice in Clinton's online pick-her-song contest.

In the video, Journey plays on a jukebox, as Clinton sits in an empty diner booth scrolling through potential campaign songs. In walks husband Bill -- greeted at the table by a bowl of carrot sticks. "No onion rings?" he asks his wife, disappointedly. Daughter Chelsea struggles to parallel park.

And at the diner bar sits a bona fide whacked Sopranos character -- It's Johnny "Sack" Sacrimoni played by Vince Curatola.

So how do we read into this video? Is this a peek into Clinton's state-of-mind? Is she paranoid about getting whacked by a "vast right-wing conspiracy?"

And yes, we fully expect jokes about Clinton outsourcing her song -- to a French Canadian no less.

My guess is a parody to Copperhead Road by Steve Earle. Thanks to the military guy who used the term myopic baby boomers the other day. :-)
LOVE IT!
ABSOLUTLEY AWSOME ...YOU GOT TO CHECK IT OUT ! HILLARYCLINTON.COM ,THE INFORMATION IS FREE AND THE KNOWLEDGE IS "PRICELESS"
"LET"S GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT"
This video is very good. I thought the whole song thing was dumb, but they make it work. And... they're hoping people spend lots of time reading into it, talking about it... so Hillary can pull "see, I'm just like you" line #14d, which is, "It was just a joke, sheesh."
Perhaps a typo?  Do you not intend to spell the word..."joke-box" instead of jukebox when dealing with Hysterical Hillary?
It was either that one or 'Third Rate Romance, Low-Rent Rendezvous' by the Amazing Rythm Method...I mean Amazing Rythm Aces.  Meanwhile, the Republicans are fighting over who gets to use Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song'.
Huh.  So Clinton is comparing herself to a New Jersey crime family?  Jerry is going to have a field day with this one. =)
Does the video end with Rubinesque Bimbii, "Feel-Your-Pain" attitudes on their faces, as they strool by Willie on their way to the Powder Bin?
HILLARY ROCKS! ROCK ON !
Says a lot about her state of mind. Not that she'll get whacked or is stressed but that she still doesnt have any original thoughts. Clever? yes. But nothing new as usual. Just like her politics.
Yawn.  I guess I'm not that much into T.V. shows, so this effort just looked silly.   I'm not sure what the point of promoting this trivia was, except perhaps that the more trivial the issue the more coverage it gets.   Frankly, it is a bit disconcerting to see a Presidential candidate behave this way -- like when I saw Bob Dole on Viagra ads.
Well, at least it's better than the GOP's theme song for 2008:  "Eve of Destruction"
That's not Phil Leotardo.  It's Johnny "Sack" Sacrimoni, played by Vincent Curatola.
That's Johnny Sack, not Phil Leotardo, at the lunch counter.  According to David Chase's storyline, his passing from cancer put Phil in line to head the New York family.  C'mon.
And it is becoming fairly clear that Tony was killed at end of the final episode.  What is Mrs. Clinton saying?

Is this for real?????? I can't wait to get home to watch it. Give her points for a sense of humor.
I love the idea that the Clinton crime family is making a takeoff on a TV crime family.
Thanks, Michael and Barbara. I guess you know what we're talking about, Michael -- Montclair is right up near the Bloomfield diner in the final scene. Updated.
I think this video is great.  Hillary Rocks!  We need to see more of Bill in the campaign.  More Bill, the better.

I can't wait till clintons are back in the white house.  I can almost smell the good times again.

God Bless the Clintons.

In Star Trek Language, "Live long and Prosper!".
Hillary is a bitch!
Way cool!You go girl!!
I think I'd rather get whacked then have to live through this campaign.
OMG that idea was genious!! I love it!
Live long and prosper sounds like the motto of America's days under President Clinton :)
Re: the video and song contest --
Love it! Fun, funny, and a great change of pace.
Celine dion? She should have asked me.
This is one of the best and most humorous campaign videos ever.

Kudos to Hillary Clinton and her creative campaign staff!!!
I think she should have used " Baby Got Back"
She's turned hers on enough people
Our next president is running a brilliant campaign, imho.  You go, girl!
It makes perfect sense that the people who support Hillary are not in touch with the United States, since they picked a song from someone in Canada.
I didnt give her much of a chance. She might win this thing!
I love this.  So Hillary is taking the part of tony Soprano and Bill is taking the part of carmela?  That figures in a Hillary world.  Hillary runs her "family" and gets her money from companies that steal from old folks and others. Tony Soprano gets his money from companies using thug tactics. Of course you can put Hillary and getting rid of Vince Foster along with Tony S. getting rid of Tony B., they both died of gunshot wounds.  Tony Soprano was into the stock market, Hillary was into the Cattle Futures.  Tony was caught by Carmella fooling around, ditto for Hillary and Bill.  Tony Soprano was involved in land deals, ditto for Bill and Hillary.  Tony deals with italians, Hillary deals with Indians. Tony had to deal with other's that wanted his power, ditto for Hillary.  Who ever thought of this must be out of their mind.  Now people are going to associate Hillary with a mob family.  This is priceless.  And using a song by a french canadian girl, what's the matter Hillary, An American singer is not good for you?  And the code word for french is surrender, so yes this is the most priceless piece of crap I have ever seen.  LOL
Love it!  (actually sent a donation.)
She is a disaster.
You go girl!  I so appreciate that a brainy, sensitive AND strong-enough woman is finally getting a chance at the brass ring that's become our national presidency.  That she did this fun video is a kick!  Plus, I read she's "a believer" like so many of us out here.  I absolutely will vote for her!
my god, the age of the campaign infomercial is upon us
My back is itching. Please pass this on
"The Bitch is Back"
All you Neo cons with negative comments. Eat your heart out. Why don't you talk about your Bush Crime Family????
The queston is not if the Clinton lovers like the video, or if Clinton haters don't like, but if it helps her with everyone else. I have to say I thought it was kind of silly. And the song? C'mon, you'd think the Republicans picked it out for her.
I'm sorry but this was beyond lame.  Nothing says I'm-Completely-out-of-touch like choosing Celine Dion for your campaign song.  Would it kill these candidates to something/ anything cool or edgy?  Just once?
Painful!  I haven't seen it, but the Clinton's disgust me!

First we had a President getting bjs in the oval office, not there's a possiblity of his moronic wife, who is still with him, being President?  Yuck!
If Tony did get whacked in the final episode, then this commercial might be a bad omen for Hillary's presidential ambitions. It could be that she'll wind up getting whacked, figuratively speaking, at the ballot box. Stayed tuned for the grand finale.
I love it!  All the half-wit rightwingers and, worst of all, the women-haters, are coming together to form an attack squad against Hillary.  They don't know how pathetic they sound.  Calling her a "bitch."  Calling her "hysterical."  It that isn't women-bashing, what is?  It points up how stuck in the past, the rightwing and the womenhaters are.  When they're confronted with a strong and intelligent women, they disintegrate into a bunch of juvenile name-callers.
I would like to add one more thing.  I hope you post it.

I am outraged by some people calling our beloved Senator, best First Lady in the history of mankind by "bi**H" word.  I am equally outraged at NBC for not deleting those comments.  What's the point of moderating, if you can not keep the blog "civilized" and free of "curse" words?

Using curse words typically indicate lack of factual knowledge.

You can get your point expressed without using curse words.
"Fuggeddaboudit!"
Hillary is amazing.  Brilliant ad, just brilliant.

From a huge Sopranos fan.
I prefer the Condileeza/Hilary 'Ho' Down Flash video.  Better lyrics.
I LOVE THE SONG AND I FEEL LIKE I HELP CHOOSE IT BECAUSE I VOTED FOR THE SONG EVERYDAY......THIS IS

"OUR SONG" It says a lot about how we feel....

KEEP ON ROCKING HILLARY...I'm rocking with you.
Sorry I forgot to add my address...Betty
America needs a clean slate,, moral being, regain praise for the good our country has provided to this world. Stop being the world police man, cut off all aid to these murdering butchers.

We will have the same crap with Clinton.  Why do we have to choose between her and all the other liar's!!!  Just who in the Hell do they think they are  ""GODS"""??????????????????????????????
