Clinton, Soprano, & Celine Dion?

David Chase, eat your heart out? To unveil her new campaign song, Clinton replicates the final scene of the Sopranos complete with a cut to black just before choosing the song in a jukebox.

We know the suspense is killing you. For the next year and a half, the song we'll all identify with the Clinton campaign is apparently... "You and I" by Celine Dion. More than 200,000 voted for their choice in Clinton's online pick-her-song contest.

In the video, Journey plays on a jukebox, as Clinton sits in an empty diner booth scrolling through potential campaign songs. In walks husband Bill -- greeted at the table by a bowl of carrot sticks. "No onion rings?" he asks his wife, disappointedly. Daughter Chelsea struggles to parallel park.

And at the diner bar sits a bona fide whacked Sopranos character -- It's Johnny "Sack" Sacrimoni played by Vince Curatola.

So how do we read into this video? Is this a peek into Clinton's state-of-mind? Is she paranoid about getting whacked by a "vast right-wing conspiracy?"

And yes, we fully expect jokes about Clinton outsourcing her song -- to a French Canadian no less.

What is she doing next ,, heard she wants to fly on the bush bean commerical???
Cleverly done...nice touch. You gotta admire her sense of humor.
Brilliant!  Now that Hillary has opened up the camapign to let us vote on her campaign song, how about opening up the doors of government to the people by letting us vote on national issues like heath care, renewable energy policy, and other important issues with a National Advisory Referendum.  If we can "advise" Hillary on a song, why cann't we advise her on national policy issues? What do you think?
It's not Hillary who picked the song. It's the American people... And now you critize Celine Dion. Not her fault at all. And I'm sure she's paid more money in taxes in this country that any American ever will. So nothing wrong. It's actually a good song for a campaign. Stop crying...
As soon as any Democrat wants to use Neil Young's "Let's Impeach the President" as a theme song, I'll start paying more attention to their finger to the wind, poll driven, consultant run campaigns.
Yes America..the Celine Dion song--it's all part of our Canadian master plan of cultural domination over you.
Hey newsflash--the theme song was chosen by Americans..hellooooo.
Maybe for another campaign theme we can get Michael Buble.
Funny how Americans don't mind appropriating our stars and athletes (Canadian hockey or basketball players on US teams) when it suits them but suddenly you're all patriotic and jingoistic about having an American singer when it comes to a theme song?
I don't see Phoenix Suns fans complaining about Canadian Steve Nash or Anaheim Ducks fans complaining about the many Canadian players that led them to a Stanley Cup championship this year.
In the  immortal words of Bob and Doug McKenzie
quit yer bitchin and take off eh
YEAH....GREAT....She wants to be President of the United States and she picks a theme song sung by someone from Canada.    In the spirit of those Guiness commercials....."Brilliant!"
