Bill makes his pitch

Bill Clinton won't hit the campaign trail for his wife until next week, but he's already pitching in -- at least electronically -- to help boost Hillary's second quarter fundraising numbers. In an email solicitation that just arrived in our inboxes, Clinton says 1) that Hillary's opponents might outraise her; 2) that she won't let Swift Boat-like attacks go unanswered; and 3) that she turned down high-paying jobs out of law school to help children -- which is similar to the message that Obama tries to get across in his first TV ads.

"Come June 30, all the campaigns will be measured on what they raised in the last three months. We have to raise more online before then to show her strength and keep her campaign going," Bill says. "The fact is, our opponents may very well outraise us -- and we can't afford to lose momentum now."

More: "She's also the best candidate to beat the Republican machine. You know Hillary will never let a swift boat-style attack go unanswered. Even when they outspent her two-to-one in her Senate campaign, she still came out on top -- in a landslide. And when she ran for reelection, she won almost 60 percent of the votes in New York counties that went for President Bush in 2004. When Republicans saw what she did, instead of what her opponents said about her, they voted for her too."

And: 'When I met her more than 35 years ago, I thought Hillary had the best combination of mind and heart I'd ever seen -- and I still do. But it's going to take every dollar to make sure that Americans get to know the real Hillary, like I do."

Yes! Go Bill, Go Hillary!!!
Barack Obama is going to beat Hillary again both in total dollars raised and, even more importantly, in the total number of contributors to his campaign.  The huge number of contributors will show the broad grassroots support for the Obama campaign that outpaces any candidate -- Dem, GOP, or Independent.
The Clinton's are copycats....they copy Soprano now Obama....men these people will surely do anything to win... but you know what American people  are smart enough to know that like a wind they change their positions on issues to win votes...
Having more contributors give smaller amounts is big, Bob. You can go back to those folks. Clinton has more donors who tapped out on the first check. Plus it just looks better, like Obama is supported by the everyday kind of people, and a lot of them. Not sure that Obama will raise more total dollars, though. Will be interesting to see. It also will be interesting to see if the Democrats still have three top-tier candidates, and on the Republican side if the Romney machine is continuing its ascent.
Why is Bill starting to cry like a pussy cat? Why is Bill going into a panic mode all the sudden?
I thought they had it going?

Geffen was right, "They lie with such ease that it's troubling".

Go Bill….you go cry me a river.

Tells us that you never had a sexual relationship with that woman…Hillary!
BILL AND HILLARY....YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE
SUNNY
LET THE SUN SHINE IN
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN
Come on STILL, more happy songs for the CLINTONS!
The "Swift Boats" are probably already changing their name to "Swift Container Ships" in preparation for the plethora of innuendos they'll throw at Hillary.  If she is itching for some Verbal Neutering, she'll soon have a Target-Rich Environment.
They learned a thing or two from Charlie don't you know. You better stay away from Copperhead Road
George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton are mirrors of each other with their obsession with secrecy, controlling nature, and ideological crusades.

Arianna Huffington agrees. See this --

They do have one thing in common: a pathological passion for secrecy. Arianna explains:

It's not just that she's a private person. There are plenty of public servants who are zealous about guarding their personal lives and equally zealous about keeping their public lives - and public policies - transparent. But, like Bush and Cheney, Clinton seems devoted to secrecy for its own sake.

As Bernstein shows, what was most shocking about her handling of the health care fiasco during her husband's administration wasn't that she kept the plan secret from its critics, but that she kept it secret even from those who would have been champions of the plan had they known anything about it.

This passion for concealment is a pattern that, as Bernstein demonstrates, has been repeated throughout Clinton's life. It was there in the head-scratching decision to hide her college thesis from public view because it was about radical organizer Saul Alinsky. It was there in her refusal for 30 years to admit that she had failed the bar exam the first time she took it. It was there in the way she glossed over in her memoir her summer internship at the law firm of Treuhaft, Walker, and Burnstein -- one of the most renowned left-wing law firms in the nation. It was there in the way she handled the Whitewater and Travelgate investigations, which, as Bernstein told me, "ended up unnecessarily prolonging them."

Bernstein quotes Clinton lawyer Mark Fabiani as saying of Hillary and Whitewater: "She would do anything to get out of the situation. And if that involved not being forthcoming [in releasing documents and other materials] she herself would say, 'I have a reason for not being forthcoming.'" And he reports that then-White House advisor George Stephanopoulos described Hillary's responses to the various scandals of the Clinton presidency as "Jesuitical lying."
One way to continue and compound the secrecy and paranoia of the Bush-Cheney years is to put Clinton back in the White House.

Sunsh.....Hey, wait a cotton pickin'minute- ain't that guy in the picture the guy that 'got some'?  You know that's why the whole world hates us now, Don't you?  I take back all my happy songs!
If Hillary really wants people to get to know her, she should have started running for local, state, and then national office instead of relying on her hubby for national office that she is simply unqualified for.
Wow... I thought she was the Washington experience candidate and now she has to reach back to the days of yesteryear to show she had community service same like Obama?  How low can you go?
All those insecure jealous men talkin trash about Hillary, figures.Wow, we'd also get two incredibly intelligent people, Bill and Hillary in the white house. What an awesome concept! I hope that happens!
GO Hillary!!
I think they're both wonderful. I'll be voting for her for sure. Shes gonna win too.
Mil Nzemba -

THIS JUST IN: Bill Clinton has not been president for six years and nearly six months - use a new line ok??

It's so old it's pathetic it's still being used; however, what else do you have? NOTHING - That great guy we have in the Oval Office, the murdering criminal, is just great - what a joke!

Let's live in 2007 neo cons, "I CAN defend GWB without using Bill Clinton's name" - Oh, I can't - GWB is no longer defendable at all...............HAHAHAHAHA!!
anonymous - Excuse me? She has more experience from being First Lady and six years in the Senate than the idiot from Texas EVER had. She certainly has a brain, also something lacking from the head of GWB!!

GWB - You really should have stayed at ranch, opened a bar and served draft beer ONLY, as mixed drinks are way too complicated for your incompetent dim-witted mentally deficient mind..................
RAH (Sent Tuesday, June 26, 2007 4:46 PM) - If you READ anything about the Senator's past, you would know she has deep roots in community service, and this service began when she was a very young teenager.

Perhaps a book or two would help? Let me know and I'll suggest a couple...............
Mzzzz Hillary, as politically awkward and empty as a person can be, will Swift-Boat herself, and Bill will be the anchor. This will be fun to watch.
Hillary who?
Hillary is a lying, criminal bitch.
Hillary has already served 2 terms as president and they were a NEAR DISASTER. WAKE UP AMERICA....

RUN FRED RUN
If this woman is elected, Osama might as well board a Saudi Airlines flight and come here in the open.  Get ready to wear your hijab ladies.
This from a guy who lied to a Federal court, used peoples FBI records to find dirt on them, used the IRS to audit people and organizations, including churches, who disagreed with him, and used the power of the Federal government to incinerate 73 Americans in Waco, Texas, including 12 infants under the age of 5. With the army of private detectives they employ, while decrying the "politics of personal destruction," how does one spell hypocrite again?
People say Hillary is the "smartest woman in the world."  Where is the evidence?  People say she would be a great president.  Where is the evidence? She is nothing but an opportunist, riding on the coattails of her philandering husband.  She has no track record of accomplishment worthy of the plaudits she receives from the sychophant press and the Democratic Party hungry to regain the presidency.
Is this the "Bush Lied, People Died Blog"? I am no fan of President and Senator Clinton, but I have never attacked them the way you people do. You don't have to agree, much less like President Bush, but you should show respect for the office.
This kind of hate is what divides the country. We are at war and we should be united in our resolve to win. Forget about the politics and the personal attacks, let's win for our country's sake.
Im Living: Yelling gets you nowhere. You say she has experience because she was a First Lady? LOL You say she has experience because she was a Senator? All the Senate does is talk, talk, talk. No Senator governs anything. The last Senator to become President in the last 60 yrs was Kennedy. If you READ anything about Bush you will see he was a great governor for Texas. People hate Bush because they cant touch him and he has that Texan in him. Maybe a book or two will help you. By the way Im African American, we all don't hate bush.
Remember To Hillary money is no problem. Playing Cattle Futures Hillary can make small fortunes in no time! She's proved it !What other Dem canidates can do that ?

Mrs. Bill Clinton has done absolutely nothing for this country. She doesn't help New Yorkers, and she despises American freedoms.

She is also a pansy when it comes to the Iraqi war.
Guess you all forgot when Hillary was whining about Bush 'cutting Homeland Security funding for NY.' Today the USAToday reported that $5.5 billion in Homeland Security Funding has NOT been put to use by the states including 47.8% of the billions given to NY. Yet Hillary promises to 'take thing from you for the common good'. That is Stalinist at best. Oh and if you are also stupid enough to believe the left-wing rant about 'tax cuts for the rich' you need to read a dose of reality: http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=6

It really concerns me that people alleging to be freedom and liberty-loving 'Americans' are willing to hand your income, your rights and your security to a proven dishonest party who wants nothing more than to tax you to poverty while micro-managing your every breathing moment. For those of you too young to remember, Bill Clinton's largest tax increase ever imposed on the American people declared $34,000 a year as 'rich'.
Who hired Craig Livingston? Who fired the White House Travel Agents? Who is an expert on cattle futures? Who lost then found her own billing records in the White House?Who turned the White House into Motel 6? Who had Early AM coffee for the Fat Cats? Who wants health care run by the post office?Who hates the military? Who loves perverted lifestyles? answer: Shouda Wouda Couda Hillary
Don't anybody forget... the Clinton's are the people who admitted under questioning that they donated their USED underwear and took a tax deduction of $2.00 per pair when they were in Arkansas.  How many of you care to purchase used underwear?  This tells you all you need to know about their character.
I bet by the end of the campaign Hillary Clinton will be spreading her liberalist, Socialist, and Communist message wearing a Designer BURKA
Her secrecy may be GWB's but the paranoia is Nixon-like.  Her national security would be like Carter's, and her husband will still be a predatory liar.

God save us from ourselves if we can't find a new slate of individuals to wake us from this on-going Clinton-Bush nightmare.
oh, Kerry didn't respond to the Swift Boat vets and that cost him? He couldn't respond, it was all true.
Swift Boat job?!?  Oh yeah...it's coming (not so fast folks....timing is EVERYTHING), but SB will look like a minor slap on the face of JFK compared to the HRC media maelstrom to come....  Yummmmmm...
I support Hillary but screw other chicks! Marriage made in Hell!
If Bill is so proud of her election record, than whey didn't she run in her home state of Arkansas?  She didn't run there because they know what they are!
Hillary can't be "Swift boated" or "Borked" because she has no record to stand on.  She was First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady of the United States.  Not too many hard decisions to make in those offices.  Since being elected senator she has only run for president. Hillary = No Experience.
Um, Bill? it's HITLERY not Hillary and who the hell are you to speak for him?  Your husband is quite capable of speaking for himself.  You are the no good filanderer who should have been impeached.  Why dont you just go back to the strip bar and leave your husband alone!!
It is funny that Bill is now playing the husband role to Hillary. When was the last time Bill really "knew"her?  I don't think she will bw "swift boated", rather in an act of desperation, she will out herself in order to appeal to the crazy-radical lesbian left. Yes that same group who so favor abortion, though they don't really need to concern themselves with the issue.

Go RUDY!
The only way to save The Constitution and this country as a light of freedom to the owrld is to not elect another Democrat or Republican. They are 100% corrupt and yes Hillary is too. So vote out the criminal class in 08 nad start the long road back to The Republic.
Hilary better be careful If she does outraise Obama, I'm sure Rezko and the rest of Obama's mob, urmmmmm, I mean goodfellas, urmmm, family,  anyway you get the idea, will make her an offer she can't refuse. Besides, we won;t know afor a while anyway. we saw with teh first quarter that while everyone announces pretty much right away, it takes Obama a few extra weeks to launder that Rezko money.
Hillary the Smartest women in the world? She didn't know her husband was cheating on her? Yea, I want her protecting our Country. Please, can the Clinton's just go away!!
The term Mrs. Bill Clinton says it all!
...And I suppose they will say that Hillary performed the first heart transplant and healed the lepers.  Note to Billary:  find some original material and stop copying from Obama.  GO OBAMA!!!
Say No to Liberals 2008!
I can't figure this out....  GWB is an dimwit, idiot etc...  But this idiot tricked the smartest woman ever, into voting for Iraq,  won 2 elections, tax cuts, kept this country safe since 9-11.

If her name wasn't Clinton,  she'd be nothing.  No accomplishments in the Senate or as 1st lady?  AND she was tricked by an idiot no less!!!
The Clintons are almost as scary as the Bushs.  We need a third party in this country before it gets much worse.  Bloomberg?
