Brownback on Romney, Tancredo

The Brownback camp is certainly flexing its muscles via press releases. This afternoon, it issued one body-slamming Romney for flip-flopping on guns. It's entitled: "Mitt Romney's Record on Gun Rights: Political Opportunism, Pandering and Flip-Flopping." Ouch.

And yesterday, the Brownback folks hammered Tancredo -- yes, Tancredo -- for accepting money for someone with ties to Planned Parenthood. Which raises the question: If a second-tier candidate attacks another second-tier candidate (or even a third-tier one), does anyone notice?

"the Brownback folks hammered Tancredo"  sounds like a scene out of "Brownback Mountain" to me...
Yay, Brownback! You da man! What America needs is another Bush clone. If you like Bush, you'll love Brownback. Women who have abortions should be stoned in the streets. And all women should be required to wear veils. We should then spread this kind of true democracy to the world.
who?
Does anybody realize that Mitt Romney is one of those darn Mormons!!! I really do not think America is ready to put a Mormon in the White House.
Are you telling me that Romney is a Holy Roller?
no one wants to talk about it for fear of being labeled, but I was born and raised in texas(baptist all my life)here, preachers have preached all my life that the mormon religion was a cult with really strange beliefs. the fact is romney cannot win texas or some other southern states thus losing the electoral college.evangelicals will not and cannot vote for him.
I'm getting tired of Sen. Brownback always bagging on Mitt Romney instead of touting his own qualifications for President. Ronald Reagan used to refer to the 11th Commandment: "Thou shalt not attact a fellow Rebublican," or words to that effect.
D.G.....maybe America is ready to put a Mormon in the White House?, afterall we already have a Moron in the White House. By just adding an "m' the moron can be easily change to Mormon:-)
The edge, You are 100% correct! No more morons in the white house and certainly no Mormons either.
I was flying my flag yesterday, outside my house, when a couple of mormons knocked on my door. They started to talk about their religion when I stopped them and asked; you folks don't believe in that flag, do you? They said, no, not really. ........ At that point, I told them to hit the F****n road!

By the way, I'm voting for Clinton. As all proud Americans should.
HP, your comment is either made up, or you were talking to Jehovah's Witnesses and thought they were Mormons. Mormons are as patriotic a group as there is in America! We proudly fly the flag and love and support our troops and country.
What is so terribly wrong with Mormons? Mormons are the largest single sponsor of the Boy Scouts of America. Mormons were one of the first relief organizations after Katrina and helped rebuild many church buildings for other denominations. Mormons have offered relief aide to nearly every country of the world.
I know ministers of other religions have spoken poorly of Mormons. But, if a person wants to know more talk to Mormons themselves. Don't expect to here great review about a McDonalds Big Mac by talking to the people at Burger King, talk to McDonalds. Of course ministers are going to talk to their people about the Mormons. Mormons are one of the fastest growing religions in America. It is an economic issue for ministers not necessarily a theological issue from the perspective of a religious business.
HP, Mormons do believe in the flag. The catch is, there are a great many Mormon missionaries serving in the United States from foreign countries. A Mormon missionary could come from over 120 nations to serve for a period of 1.5 to 2 years. If the Mormon missionaries knocked on your door HP, they were probably from different nations. Mormons do teach its people to be loyal to their nation in being "subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and majistrates in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law" (5th Article of Faith, LDS Church). As a Mormon, I believe in everything the flag of the United States stands for. It is part of my family heritage. My family has served in every war this country has ever had including the American Revolution.
Tash, You are correct. I talked to my wife, and they were Jehovah's Witnesses. My comments were wrong. I don't know much about the Mormon religion, so to any of you that I offended; I'm sorry.
MITT ROMNEY HAS A WIFE OF 37 YEARS AND 5 BOYS WHO VOUCH FOR HIM. NO OTHER CANDIDATE CAN SAY THAT.  MITT, FOR THOSE OF US WHO REALLY KNOW HIM HE IS BY FAR THE FINEST PERSON RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.  AS A MORMON MYSELF, WITH THE FLAG FLYING DAILY ON OUR FLAG POLE, AND THE MANY, MANY MORMON MILLITARY MEN SERVING THIS COUNTRY RIGHT NOW, I AM APPALLED AND AMAZED AT THE DOUBLE STANDARDS AND PREDJUDICE STILL HELD BY SO MANY WHO HAVE THEIR OWN RELIGION PROTECTED BY THE US CONSTITUTION.  MORMONS BELIEVE IN GOD.  WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD.  THAT HE IS THE SAVIOR.  WE BELIEVE IN HONORING AND SUSTAINING THE LAW OF THE LAND.  WE BELIEVE IN THE 10 COMMANDMENTS.  WE BELIEVE IN BEING HONEST, TRUE, CHASTE BENEVOLENT AND IN DOING GOOD TO ALL MEN.  WE BELIEVE IN THE FREEDOM TO WORSHIP GOD AND BELIEVE THAT ALL MEN SHOULD BE AFFORDED THE SAME.  WE LOVE OUR FAMILIES AND OUR NON-MORMON FRIENDS.  WE LOVE BEING AMERICANS AND ARE GRATEFUL TO PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS WHO LOVE AMERCIA AND STAND UP FOR HER TODAY AND ALWAYS.  PLEASE, PLEASE DISAGREE WITH MITT ON HIS POLITICS, BUT UNTIL YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT IT IS THAT IS SO WRONG ABOUT A MORMON BEING PRESIDENT OTHER THAN NAME CALLING, THEN DOING SUCH IS IGNORANT OF THE TRUTH.
