...it pours for John McCain.

The AP: "State Rep. Bob Allen, a co-chair of Republican presidential candidate John McCain's Florida campaign, is expected to address Thursday charges that he offered to perform oral sex on an undercover male police officer for $20."

"Allen, who sponsored a failed bill that would have tightened the state's prohibition on public sex, scheduled a news conference at his lawyer's office to discuss Wednesday's arrest. A spokeswoman for Allen declined further comment."

What the h*ll is wrong with these people?  The more sanctimonious they are, the more they talk about family values, the more they talk about gay marriage being a threat to straight marriage, the more likely you'll find them in a sandwich with two hookers -- one gay, one straight.  Mote, beam, etc.
Some campaigns will do anything for contributions.
The McCain campaign can't be that desperate for $20, can it?
Thanks Mark for keeping me laughing. Kind of sad but still funny. And it keeps on raining.
I think these men are using their "brains" too much.
People, I have to go to work, after I clean up the drink I spit on the monitor.  Enjoy your day LOL!
Very true JJ, funny how it always seems to work out that way.
Wow, can't wait to hear Scott and Jerry spin this, maybe it was a liberal undercover cop and it was his fault, or something like that. Geeez, what a party you have there. Keep drinkin the kool aid and defending this bunch guys, still looks like a dem sweep in 08 to me. Peace brothers.
Repubs pay for sex because their wives look like a cross between Dick Cheney and Ann Coulter!
Go, Jerry, go, the fries are getting cold!
Hey, this is like the Clinton scandal, the Foley scandal, and the Vitter scandal - all wrapped into one!
And this guy is a good Republican? The giver gives and the getter pays. Whatever happened to the free market system?
I don't find much to laugh at these days, but that actually hurt my dimples.

exactly who was paying who $20?  I read it that the officer was getting paid. Different that the usual Republican Snowjob.
Help Wanted : John McCain's staff is beginning a new fund raising drive and seeks dedicated workers to seek out new donors. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, sex or sexual orientation. Wages commensuate with experience. Hypocrits, Monicas and Family Value holy rollers with experience in this type of work will be give preference:-)

OMG...I feel like I have to take a bath after all of these GOP revelations. What in the heck is going on??
Beam me up, Scotty!!
beaverdambob (3:08), I assume you were referring to scott, nv, right?
"State Rep. Bob Allen, a co-chair of Republican presidential candidate John McCain's Florida campaign, is expected to address Thursday charges that he offered to perform oral sex on an undercover male police officer for $20.".........I'm sure 'Rep. Bob' will have a whole mouthful to say....
I think the AP quote is incorrect; Allen offered to pay $20 to perform oral sex, not perform oral sex for $20.  Re his public sex bill, he is quoted as saying that it will make us safe by locking up the sex offender.  If I had my druthers, we'd throw away the key to Rep. Allen's cell.
I hate to say it but nothing these guys do anymore surprises me. They are all bottom feeders!!
Scott, south texas - not you scott unless you are going to try and spin this, I think it is scott in nebraska, where the bible was invented or something like that. Sorry you are from shrubs home state, peace brother.
The repuks are really the scum of the earth!
Pass me a shovel, time to bury this sick bunch.

Mmmm maybe it was the BLUE uniform, just saying.
Well at least the cop wasn't under age so you can say the GOP is doing better.

Can't let you Liberals have all the fun.
Asad, Gary, Mel, Russ    $20!  That isn't so much.  How much do each of you charge?
the GOP seems to have more gays in power positions than the DNC.  I guess that means there GOP is the pink party now?
Woo Hoo!! $20 bucks for an air-start??  Like the saying goes- "I can be had, but I'm no pushover".  HA HA HA HA   Hep me Jesus- Hep me wit my morals!
Sideshow Bob--I had to stop charging my wife for that after the wedding. After all whats hers is hers and whats mine is hers.
clean up the republican party and restore true conservatism and just plain old truth, Check out Ron Paul! (to those who are sceptical, I understand, but he does have more cash on hand than McCain 2.4 million, please don't let Hillary win Vote for Ron)
GOP = Gay Old Party?
I think we need clarification on what exactly he was paying for...because if he was paying AND giving, he's getting ripped off.  That's like saying "I'll give you $20 if you let me wash your car."
Get this folks! Ft Lauderdale's mayor wants to spend tons of our tax money to install self-cleaning public bathroom in parks that automatically open the stall's doors after 30 seconds because; get this; homosexuals are performing illegal sex acts. God I despise these so call moral values Republicans. Please, in future elections ,any of them who claims to be pure as the white driven snow VOTE for someone else.
Now really, Sideshow Bob, I'd like to believe my husband gave me the baby grand piano because he adores me, not because of any special talents I may have.

Nah.  He did that so you wouldn't be too po-ed when he tells you he has herpes.
Well, I guess the difference between a state representative and a US Senator is how much you can afford to pay for sexual favors.
Mel, since he didn't give you a pump organ, I think you're probably safe.
"Rep. Allen said in his defense, 'Hell, I never imagine she was a cop.  She told me she was a loyal Republican and had attended Pat Robertson's law school'" Independent Party News Service
Well, I guess there is something I can finally agree with that the ignorant cowboy said-something to the effect that gays were destroying American families--they are all republican polliticians!(no offense intended to non repub gay people!)
Since you'll never read about this on these blogs
"TRENTON, N.J. -- The state Senate now has two Democrats facing federal corruption charges _ the men who directed the influential Senate budget panel for more than two years as chairman and vice chairman.

Sen. Sharpe James, a former Newark mayor, was indicted Thursday on charges he used Newark credit cards to spend lavishly on himself, eight women and others on trips and vacations and for approving cut-rate deals to sell city land to a female companion.

Eight women?
Gets around pretty good for his age.
Mel.....not keeping with the subject....LOL...But, If your husband actually gave you a Baby Grand Piano, he certainly must adore you, as well as, your special talents!!!.....Hmmm you ever think you might have a career in politics????
WOW Mel You got a BABY GRAND?
I am so not happy with my riding mower any more!
No charge for you Sideshow Bob. You can give me a snowjob for free.  Frankly I don't understand why Rep. Bob had to pay. I would have thought some business lobbyist would have provided him with all the free tube steaks he wanted.
HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa! You're all too funny. I guess you could say Bob Allen was arrested for trying squeeze the trigger on a cop's pistol.....
If  (God forbid!) McCain got to be president, he'll make incredibly horrible decisions as to cabinet and staff.  This guy obviously doesn't know a friminal from a prospective caginet member.  That alone (let's forget his boosterism for Idiot Emeperor's war) should make people vote for anybody but him.
HP, that was funny. And I'm particularly impressed with your husband. Rewarding you for... I mean adoring you... he buys you something that makes it easier for you to cut the grass for him.

Hmmm, taking notes here. Hopefully my wife isn't reading this.
HP and Paul, uh oh, I do all the yardwork and mowing around here.  Is that the real reason he gave me the piano?  The grass is getting kinda high so I better get out there.

TJB, I better stay out of politics since I can't even figure out why I received the piano.
