Image-maker Fred Davis, who created the McCain campaign's logo and redesigned the new Straight Talk Express bus, told the Washington Post.com today that "sadly" he is leaving. Two others left earlier in the week. That means Of McCain's ad people, just Mark McKinnon is left.

WHO CARES ?
Wow, can it get any worse for the gasbag. Still waiting for him to commit suicide over the elections last fall like he promised. But then again this is political suicide that we are watching, what a sad joke this out of touch republican has become. Good ridance gasbag.
john can kiss his asperations good bye .Maybe he can kiss them the way he hugged and kissed bush on the 2004 campaingn trail and betrayed a "real band of brothers"with the swift boat shifttys. The independants that made macain 2000 are the ones who walked away from him when he sold his soul to bush YIPPI KYAAA john macain Bush has left you balless
Mccain needs to get on that bus and ride into the sunset.
Guess Fred Davis realized making McCain's image would be a lost cause....
Why doesn't McCain just depart himself? I bet that would show them.
McCain is Bush-Cheney classic ( not Bush-Cheney light )
The country doesn't want either, not even republicans.

Will  the last person leaving the Straight Talk Express bus please shut off the radio, turn out the lights and lock the doors?
I guess the Magic Bus is really magic, John took Dubya's policies for a ride and it made McCain's presidential aspirations disappear:-)
Where's Oscar the Cat when we need him?
Tying yourself to an unpopular president was political suicide of the first order. Doesn't say much for John's political instincts. Sayonara and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
adios, former hero to many...current political sellout to many.
Lost his floaties and he's sinking fast.

Olivia, you're bad.
I once heard rumors that Kerry wanted McCain as his running mate but McCain refused so Kerry chose Edwards. Looking back, McCain should have accepted. Now he will never be president and he will never even come close.
Mr MaCain, I will always remember that you were captured by the North Vietmese and held in captivity for 7 years. For that, I will always give you the honor you deserve.
when will the Bush kiss catch up to Lieberman?
Senator McCain, Thank you for your constant service to our country. You are the kind of politician I will teach my children about. Honest, hardworking, courageous, a man of deep integrity. It's sad to see that our country doesn't value those charecteristics very much. I do, and I pray that we get the oppurtunity to have you as our commander in chief.
Amen Desmond! John McCain may not be our next President but he is and always will be a man of courage and a great American hero. I say this as a lifelong Democract who it seems will once again have to look to the Republicans for a couragous leader since there seems to be no such person that exists in my party anymore.
McCain left the "Straight Talk Express" long ago, abandoning it and what appeared to be his few distinguishing principles when he started drinking deeply from the party Kool-Aid bowl.

Take his position on Iraq, for example.  After Al Gore slammed Bush's policy on Iraq in 2003, "Straight Talk" McCain when on the talk circuit saying that "Success [in Iraq] will be 'fairly easy'".  Then on January 4, 2007, he said on MSNBC about the Iraq war, "I knew it was probably going to be long and hard and tough, and uh, those that voted for it and somehow thought that it was going to be an ... some kind of an easy task, then I'm sorry they were mistaken.  Maybe they didn't know what they were voting for."

Obviously one of the statements was a lie.

Or consider his two conflicting statements about the Confederate flag, made three days apart in South Carolina.  On January 9, 2000, he states, "The confederate flag is offensive in many, many ways, as we all know.  It's a symbol of racism and slavery."  Then just three days later he states, "Personally, I see the [confederate] flag as a symbol of heritage."

That has to be a record, publically flip-flopping on an issue in three days.

Or how about McCain giving a speech denouncing pandering to party extremists in 2000, including specifically Jerry Falwell, and then subsequently begins pandering to the religious right, even giving the commencement address at Falwell's Liberty University in 2006.

I, for one, am fed up with the liars, crooks, thiefs, panderers, and incompetent fools of both parties, both on Capitol Hill and in the White House.  McCain might as well hang it up as he doesn't have a prayer in this race.
When they did Bushs colonoscopy, they dug out McCain and our Jerry from our presisdents butt, along with several polyps.

This is way too funny.  Do you come up with this stuff yourself, or do you have a staff of writers?  You really should have your own show, or do standup.  You are as good, and I mean this, as good as Maher.  Don't let anyone else tell you different!
Its all true!! Can't tell you my sources.
