Tancredo’s capital (not Capitol!) offer

Want a free trip to DC, dinner with a presidential candidate and a tour of the Capitol, or, er, um capital? That’s what Tancredo is offering up to anyone who can get 25 people to the Ames straw poll on Aug. 11.

The offer, though, initially stirred suspicion of a violation of House ethics rules, since buildings on the Capitol grounds cannot be used for campaign purposes.

Tancredo’s campaign quickly clarified this point. Per the AP: “Bay Buchanan, Tancredo's national chairwoman, said Tuesday she meant supporters would get a tour of the capital city -- spelled with an 'a' -- which could also include a ‘public tour’ of the Capitol building -- spelled with an 'o' -- in which Tancredo would go along and point out some highlights.

“The winners would also visit some of Tancredo's favorite places in Washington, such as several war memorials, and have dinner with him at a restaurant, Buchanan said.”

Looks like Tan's seen the writing on the wall if he's stooping to that level. There goes another one.
This is the decade of Republicans who skirt the spirit of the law.  Bush and his 'signing statements' and 'executive privledge', and Tancredo with his attempts to leverage public buildings for his own gain.

At least it's mostly Republicans and Bush Voters getting wounded and killed in Iraq.  88% of the military voted Bush in 2004.

I feel that this is a war that only half the nation wanted, so that half should do the fighting.

The other half has all the money, we're just paying for it.
the presidents do it why not congressmen. For that matter why shouldnt average americans be allowed to but goverment officials just like big business?
Goodie I love visiting war memorials.  Do we get to BAY at the moon after dinner?

Overdose
What are the chances he will actually follow through with that promise.  Please give us an update in a couple of months.
"Money for nothing and the kicks for free"-old saying
What a desperate article, NBC needs to grow up.
If he throws in a wonder mop and a replacement head, I'm in.
I will be voting for Tom Tancredo in the Tennessee Republican primary.  He is a true conservative.  Every Democratic presidential candidate supports giving legal status and a path to citizenship to millions of illegal aliens.  Rudy, Mitt, McCain, Huckabee and Bronback also support that approach.

I will not vote for any candidate that wants to reward millions of illegal aliens with legal status.
How many millions has Bay Buchannan made off her hate Hillary book?I think it came out the same time Tyrrel put out his hate Bill book.Have not noticed if they are in the top 10 best sellers.
Will he throw in a "BOMB MECCA" bumper sticker too?
