Laura Bush on Rove (back in 2004)

While we know plenty about Karl Rove's longtime relationship with President Bush, his relationship with the first lady seems a bit more complicated. Here are a few lines, per an April 2004 New York Times piece: "Laura Bush is so devoted [to her husband] that she gets angry when Karl Rove, Mr. Bush's chief political adviser, is called 'Bush's brain' or is credited with being the real power in the West Wing. 'His input is valued just about, you know, equally with a whole lot of other people and — or maybe less, I should say, than some of the other people over there,' Mrs. Bush said in an interview in February."

Yeah, right.  Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
I don't take credit for the "brains" of this outfit.
I'm not surprised that Laura Bush would be offended at the thought of her husband having a brain.
My aunt, a school teacher(intelligent?) & democrat, is stuck on the notion that as soon as President Bush is out of office, he will divorce Laura and marry Condi Rice. Does this leave open a Laura Bush/Karl Rove romance???
Poor Laura has a horrid husband. Maybe shes really defending Karl, who also might be Georges p----, as well as his brain.
Is it true Karl/Laura for president bid ?
Any body remember Grima Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings?
What a slimy, smug lowlife.  This clearly is way too late to matter, but the Bush White House has sure had a ton of deflections, along with Dan Bartlett.  There's a greatvideo on YouTube of Rove being mocked and laughed at during a conference in Asen this summer. He states the administration would never invade a sovreign nation, in regards to an inquiry about Pakistan.  Then the audienceseems taken aback and just laughs at his stupidity and arrogance. At that that point Turdblossom casually spits out, "except for iraq" or "except for saddam".  Just a jerk.  And as far as Laura Bush-she is as brainless as her hubby so why's getting all bent?  Come on now-what woman with a brain larger than a gerbil's marry and bear children with that village idiot George?   Biden ibn '08!!!
laura was just jealous cause george spent more time with karl kinda reminds me of jerri girl.
If Karl Rove leaves that leaves only the main two to get out of office and those two are the President and Gonzalez to clear the road for Vice President to shove off too.  Then we can have the next in line to take over which is the speaker of the house which is the Democrat and run the show properly.
Good riddance, Karl Rove. How about a nice vacation in Iraq? A hunting trip with the vice president?

Is it true, Dick has asked for George's resignation ?
It is about time he left, it is to too bad he was ever in the white house.
We should blame Laura?

Laura's jealous that Rove is considered Bush's brains when every morning she has to show her idiot husband what shoe goes on what foot.
Bush Condi romance? No way! It will be more like a George/Karl romance and Laura will be so sick of horrid men she will turn to Condi, who will come out of the closet for Laura. Oh those righteous repubs!
Bush has taken leave of his senses so that his senses can spend mort time with his family.
Poor Laura, republican female slave. You're stuck with Mr. tick brain for the rest of your days. You deserve it honey.
Luara "Stepford Wife.....I mean Bush"
If Rove is not Bush`s brain, perhaps what we think is
true.  He has none.

Somebody in the WH has to have a brain....George killed off most of his with heavy drinking...and the other half was sucked out and washed clean when he was reborn again. He was left being a half-wit.  No god fearing man could have heaped so much death and distraction on this planet accept some evil-doer...where did I hear that word before...
"Tell Laura I Love Her"-Ray Valance
Poor poor phoney ass Laura. Perhaps she's thinking about a future being stuck with her discusting, loser husband.
Is it my imagination, or does the photo at the top look just like Betty Crocker?

You are probably just like Hillary.  Seeing people others don't see.
"Stepford Wife" - you got that right, juan! LOL...

Can't wait for this whole sad miserable bunch to just leave.
Many wonder what compromises the Clintons have made regarding their marriage.
What compromises have the Bush's made. After all Shrub was an admitted drunk most of his life and failed at his business careers. Makes you wonder how many times Laura "sucked it up" to stay in their marriage?
Poor Laura... she is attempting to put up a good front. Her hubby is incredibly inappropriate in so many ways and she can only smile and say things that make Karl Rove seem as effective and influential as a fly on the wall.

She was told what to say, folks.
Typical republican woman... Pathetic!!
So what?  She had the piss-poor judgement to marry W!!
"Another one bites the dust" Queen- (still crazy)
