From NBC's Lauren Appelbaum
Fresh off his Ames straw poll win, Romney's spending the day making visits in three other key primary states -- Michigan, Georgia, and Florida. During a lunch time stop in Atlanta, Romney took advantage of the time to attack Giuliani and also the three leading Democratic presidential candidates.

He questioned why Giuliani will not admit his wrongdoing regarding "sanctuary cities" for illegal immigrants. Romney also explained why sanctuary cities may have existed in Massachusetts while he was governor. "I was the governor of the state. I'm not critical of [former New York] Gov. Pataki for not cracking down on Mayor Giuliani. I'm critical of cities that call themselves sanctuary cities that say they are going to enforce the law," Romney said. "I don't know why Mayor Giuliani just won't say he made a mistake and that he's changing his mind. But cities that call themselves sanctuary cities and say that they are not going to enforce the law of immigration are making a mistake. As governor, I was responsible for my state. I was not a mayor. Had I been a mayor, I wouldn't have been sanctuary mayor."

Romney also said the three leading Democrats -- Clinton, Edwards, and Obama -- represent policies of the left that are the opposite of "principles which are the basis of our nation's success, principles that Ronald Reagan espoused of strength in our military and our economy, and in our values in our homes." Regarding Clinton, Romney specifically attacked her views on the economy, stating she wants to raise taxes and turn an "on your own society" into a "a shared responsibility, we're all in it together society." Romney said her way is not the right way for America and he called for both lower taxes and "personal responsibility and opportunity."

Romney also blasted Edwards for stating that the war on terrorism is a bumper sticker slogan. Romney said radical Jihadism is the "greatest threat to civilization."

B.S.
Romney with all his money will find out that he can't go to other states and buy votes like he did in Iowa.
Just got back from hearing Obama speak, about two blocks away.  Doesn't sound too Left Wing to me.  Seems like a fairly centered guy which obviously scares all the Republican Candidates.  If anything, the Policies of Reagan, Romney espouses, were off on a tangent, as were the Right-Wing forces he loosed on an unsuspecting America.  Forces that have culminated with Dubya's Presently-In-The-Ditch Monarchy and the Mess of this Millenium.  It'll be MMM before it gets cleaned up. When Mitt starts praising Nixon, go bury your wallet in the backyard, OK?
GOP FUBAR, this election will shatter their permanent majority forever
Political Swamp water. Let us hear how he was a sanctuary govenor. I just wish these politicans would stop using so called hot bed issues to get elected only to fail to perform as promised.
Steve, did Senator Obama have a big crowd gathered?
This clown is the ultimate flip flop phony.
Steve Turner Cedar Falls Iowa: Obama speak, about two blocks away.  Doesn't sound too Left Wing to me.  Seems like a fairly centered guy which obviously scares all the Republican Candidates.

Well, sure he sounds in the middle, but then that short little voting record of his says he's 100% lib.  Would imagine that fact might just come up at some point.

I'm no Romney fan, but it seems pretty obvious that by being so right-wing in many of his unrealistic statements, that he is isolating a big chunk of our centrist population...
Just wait each one will flip-flop depending on which way the wind is blowing.  These two are pathetic.
Dem.  I'd say three hundred.  It was at 2:30 so many folks were at work.  The park is across the street from City Hall and across another street from the Historical Society, where Sen. Obama and his wife and daughters came out of.  It had rained earlier but the sun came out and the temperature was in the high Seventies, breaking a bit of a muggy heatwave we have been having. The crowd was appreciative and decidedly Democratic, but it seemed more relaxed all around.  Rather than expecting some sort of charismatic show, I think the crowd expected a smart guy who is humble and hoping for a better society to leave his kids, and that's what it got.  His 'Phony Phactor' is way low, especially when compared to virtually all the GOP candidates.  As an Independent,  I call them as I see them.  I could sleep at night with him as President, something that hasn't been assured as of late.  I haven't seen the rest of the Demo Candidates, but this one is OK.
Here's a great video of Romney debating Ted Kennedy and running to his LEFT:

Romney and Rove are "winnies". And I approve of this message.
A crock of crap from the Bob Forehead of the 2008 campaign.
Hard. Since when is a liberal voting record, "Left Wing"?  I'd say the conservative voting records tend to be "Right-WIng" more often then not, so they can move into that definition.  If anything, the GOP has tried to cut off that Left Wing and fit the Eagle with two Right Wings.  We now see that the Bird can't fly like that. It's just 'Perch and Twirl, Perch and Twirl.'  Are you happy with where Dubya and Cheney have taken this country? Any Democrat will do for this 'Hard Independent', but NO Republican deserves a chance.
Mitt Romney, the bobblehead with the time bomb underneath.  The first potential cultist President, (after Joseph Smith, polygamist founder of the Mormon Church, who was running for President when he was assassinated.)
Dog-lover, hunter, ready to say anything at any time, nothing up his sleeve--or on his mind.
Maybe we can get Tom Cruise or John Travolta to be V.P. and complete the ticket with a Scientologist.
    Next stop Armageddon.
