Bush: I need somebody to lean on

The Washington Post writes that former RNC chairman -- and current White House counselor -- Ed Gillespie is emerging as the likely recipient of much of Karl Rove's political portfolio. “He is likely to be called on to handle political strategy and message management for the president, becoming the dominant voice in determining where and how often Bush appears and what he says during the final 17 months of his tenure.”

Ed Gillespie! So he goes from one effeminate male (Rove)to another? Whats up with George?
bb - Considering where the hand has to be placed in a ventriloquist dummy, Bush probably has a preference for slender, soft hands.
Sounds right for someone who could never stand on his own.  Better get him in there before AUG 31.
Another ventriloquist to speak for the dummy.
A good test as to whether Gillespie is ready for this job: check his bathroom and see if he has toilet paper decorated with the constitution on each square. Actual size would be even better.
Gary that is soooo funny, I have a visual.
The look that is always on Shrubs face is oh so revealing.  ha ha ha ha
Gary, Ohh now I get it. But the gay woman are in love with him as well- Condi, Harriet. What is up with that?
bb, you're on to something there. Maybe there is more to the story. Maybe our super right wing christian president is secretly attracted to men. Hmmm.. Now that would be a story!
Re-arranging deck chairs on the "Titanic".
Well, Bush claims to be visionary but why does he keep depending on Reagan retreads who only know how to look back?
So bush admits he is NOT strong and resolute and obviously does not lean on his higher father.
As John McLaughlin might say, the correct answer is that now that Rove is gone, Gillespie will be a figurehead only; Bush will increasingly lean on and listen to Cheney---when, that is, he's not hearing God in his head!
Somebody should really find out if our president is REALLY hearing voices because if he is, the man has a serious mental illness AND is running our country.
You mean what Bush says in his appearances is AFTER he has been coached? Scary thought.
Kerry was the best you could come up with?
Bahhahahaahahhaaaaaaaa
Who'd be able to find out if Bush hears God in his head?  A shrink at Walter Reed?!?  And even if he found out, it would just get classified under Divine Executive Privilege!
Who's going to try to find out if Bush hears voices?  Some shrink at Walter-Roach-Motel-Reed?  And what if they find out he DOES hear God talking to him?  The report will just be classified and kept from the public under Divine Executive Privilege.
Bush hears God in his head but there is a terrible echo.
