Fellows, lay off, eh? It used to be that you criticized your opponents all you liked, but if you were HONOURABLE you left their family alone.
Best wishes to the happy couple. I would be happier if one of them was in the military, serving in Iraq.
Is the wedding after Jenna's tour in Iraq?? Or is this just another elite marrying an Rove criminal with larceny on his mind??
Funny Comments.

Just a few questions I have?

Constitutional Crisis? What the hell are you talking about?

When you call Bush a liar, about what are you talking? He hasn't told a single major lie where it came to the war on terror (or the sub war in Iraq, which is part of the greater war on terror).

You guys do know that there is not a draft?

Congrats to Jenna and her future husband. It is always a good day in the USA when a young man and woman decide to tie the knot.
Yes Jenna Bush is entitled to a happy and private life just like each of us.  That is why, BV from New York, I'm sure you will agree that it is a true travisty of justice for all that Jenna is allowed to get engaged to the man she is apparently in love with yet I can't marry the man that I have been in a commited relationship with for 10 years... right?
Aww, isn't that sweet. So Georges snot nosed rich girl is engaged, while everybody elses kids are being blown to smitherenes or coming home from Iraq in a box. Thanks for the good news from the White House! Just another distraction from all of mongoloid boy Georges mistakes.
This Henry guy looks like a girl to me. Theres not a manly man in the bunch. Figures.
Joan goody goody,"they both come from strong marriages?" Not George and Lauras-lots of troubls for years due to his alcoholism and obnoxious behaviors. Quit being so damn self righteous. Susans story is probably real close to the truth, which you don't like.
Just yet another distraction trick by this administration. So Laura and Georgies spawn of the devil is getting married? Big deal.
Nixons daughter got married in the white house and look what happened to him. Me thinks history is repeating itself.
Ohhh Jenna got knocked up? Not from that Henry fellow. From the looks of him,he couldn't knock anyone up.
I thought liberals and Democrats were the open- minded, accepting and tolerant people.  From most of these posts it appears they are mean-spirited, intolerant and so inflexible in their hate for George Bush that they will take it out on his daughter.

Well I guess that puts you all in the same league as the Clinton haters and their sick, rude comments about Chelsea.

Guess it doesn't matter whether you have a "D" by your name or an "R" in order to qualify as an ***hole.
I cannot believe how many STUPID people there are that read the news;  perhaps you haven't noticed, but we have an all volunteer military - that means everyone, including you and your children, gets to decide for themselves whether they serve or not.  Children of politicians, regardless of party affiliation, are no different.  Do you idiots think that if a politician is against the war then thier children don't get to serve - no IT IS A RIGHT;  I did not MAKE my son join the service and serve in Afghanistan, it was HIS choice, and the President's daughters and all other children of politicians have the same CHOICE.  Boy, you liberals just amaze me - you call yourself Pro-Choice when it comes to abortion but not when it comes to sending people to war.  Get a life and some intelligence.
Chelsea is really po-ed.  She's screaming at Mummsie and Daddsie "You Promised!! I'm supposed to have the next wedding at the White House!!

Get back to your hedge fund Chels.
And ***hole-ettes.  Sorry, didn't mean to be exclusionary.
To Class Warrior - The United States has a draft?????  You're brilliant.

Avg.Joe - Thank you to your son for ENLISTING in the military.  I'll pray for his safety and I'm happy he was willing to go to Iraq and fight for my freedom, your freedom, and for the freedom of everyone else posting here.

Congratulations to the happy couple.
I hope Jenna and her beau have a happy life.  It should be easier for them than most; they have wealthy parents, money in the bank, jobs handed to them if they want them, the opportunity to have the best medical care possible, an education paid for by someone else and enough name recognition to be famous for life.  Ah, if it were so for everyone else.
The difference between republicans and democrats dear confused susan, is that this president and his followers, lied to us and made up phoney reasons to go to war and then make us believe we are there for good reason,(nobody from Iraq attacked us on 9-11 in case you didn't know that yet). That is wrong and bad and evil. Then they tell OUR(not their kids) 18 and 19 yr olds that it is brave and you are doing a good thing for this country by joining the military-which is yet another lie. Then Bush and company keep their own precious children at home and let everybody elses kids fight the (for no reason)war. Thats the difference. Read newspapers and journals and you might find out the horrid truth. Apparently, Republicans think its OK to sacrifice(kill) a living breathing 18 yr old for no reason. Did you encourage YOUR son to fight for Mr Bushs war at any time?
Ned you just reminded us that repubs have no sense of humor.
send them to iraq for a wedding present
Mazel Tov to the lovely young couple!  And to the haters out there with your nasty comments - get over yourself!  And, the Hager family is fantastic - especially Maggie, Henry's mom.  She's the nicest person you'll ever meet.
Susan, Miami: I can't speak for anyone else, but my three sons, currently 23, 27 and 30 all chose not to join the military.  They weren't pressured by me or anyone else to do so.  I would have and have supported the individual choices they made.  I would have supported their individual choice to serve had that been the case.

You are very confused between lies and opinions.  Joining the military can be a good thing for the individual (such as my brother) and the country (my brother would like to think his military career was good for the country).  That you believe otherwise is an opinion, not proof of a lie.

It should be obvious, but an overwhelming majority of military eligible Americans are right here at home safe and sound.  In fact an overwhelming majority of U.S. Military personnel are safe and sound somewhere while doing good for their country.

You insult all of them with your vicious and arrogant opinions and your mean spirit.  But that's just my opinion.

F: I'm still waiting for you to be funny.  Even a caveman can do it but you apparently haven't evolved far enough yet.
Susan, Miami - you bet I encouraged my son;  he made an honorable decision to join and serve at a time that he knew he would be sent to Afghanistan;  he was in college and made the choice - the same choice that every American has the RIGHT to make;  President Bush cannot make his daughters join the service; again what part of RIGHTS do you not understand.  How do you know President Bush did not discuss service options with his girls - were you a part of that conversation.  I am so sick of the liberals that get on here and spout off about "facts" that they have no basis for.  And this is not Mr. Bush's war, it is AMERICA'S war; and I would prefer we fight it over there before they come over here.
Susan, I hope your life is better than your miserable, bitter posts indicate. Rather doubt it, though.
SHE IS PREGNANT.  Nothing wrong with that except that her father (and Karl Rove, who her boyfriend worked for) pushed the family values no sex before marriage agenda down our throats.  I HAVE FRIENDS IN REPUBLICAN CIRCLES AND THIS IS A FACT.
I don't think Susan from Miami was insulting military people, Richard, just expressing her anxiety over seeing thousands of them coming back with severe wounds and PTSD after serving in a war many feel was bungled by Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. I believe some of the comments disparaging Bush and Romney for not having children in the service arise from the idea that the administration specifically squelched debate about the invasion by implying Democrats were unpatriotic for not supporting the action.
Thank-you for your support Amy. They apparently still don't get it. "I prefer to fight them over there than over here." Now that crap has been debunked months ago. They must still be watching Fox news. And for anyone who wants to know, I'm very happy in my life. I'm happily  married with both kids in college-both have enough sense to not be conned by recruiters and a lying president. I am very concerned about the horrible state our country is in due to this phoney war and all the deaths and destruction caused. US health care sucks and our environment is in shambles. But other than that, I am doing quite well. My anger and disappointments are being placed right where they should be placed. The Bush administration and anyone who lies for them. Susan, you are in a very small minority 30% who still don't believe this is Bushs war. Most folks know it is Bush and Cheneys war and you dear are in MAJOR denial or have been conned as well.
Susan and Amy are correct. This war was cooked up by Bush and the lying neocons - most people know that by now. Dumbest argument about fighting them there instead of there. Nobody falls for that one anymore.
No, she is not pregnat... her child will just be a miracle 5 month baby...
:-)

Love it when life trows people's stupid juding of other right in ther faces!!!!
God does have a sence of humor after all...
It is amazing how the haters on the left come out of the woodwork, do what they do best. Hate.
Don't invite Dick Cheney to the wedding. He'll get wasted and shoot the DJ in the face!
"Really, .? I remember the press all but declared Chelsea hands off. Please give examples, if you can find any."

Bruce, I'm afraid your memory is as bad as your political acumen. Who can forget Limbaugh's joke about the "new White House Dog" while holding up a picture of Chelsea. Jenna Bush spawn is no better than Paris Hilton--just a rich, drunken slut who will never accomplish a damn thing in her life.
i wish only the best to the couple--it appears a great many people have forgotten they were or are sons and daughters and perhap have sons and daughters. would they like to have their child's name substitued for the bride or groom in this situation and wished such unkind wishes. as far as the enlisted men and women--it was their choice to go-god keep them safe AND bless this couple.
I was blessed enough to spend a week getting to personally know Mr. & Mrs. John Hager through a program I was in at Purdue. What a truly generous and loving couple...God bless their families & best of luck to Jenna & Henry:)

Some of you have entirely too much hate inside to think of such crude remarks!
I just watched Diane Sawyer's interview with Jenna Bush and she is just delightful!.....She comes from a good family and I expected no less.  I have no doubt tha Henry is a good guy.
Jenna looks beautiful and I hope the best for her and her future husband.  Everyone check out ronpaul2008.com for our next future president!  Congratulations Jenna!  Go Ron Paul!

So is this where I say out loud, that Mrs. Edward's getting cancer again would really boost John John's numbers? Oh wait...this is MSNBC, they only allow Repub bashing here. My bad, carry on.
