Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Police arrest-booking photo of Sen. Lary Craig, R-Idaho
From NBC’s Jim Popkin
Additional documents released today by the Minneapolis airport police show that an "agitated" Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) returned to the airport-police offices 11 days after his arrest and complained that he had been "drug down to this office" when arrested on June 11.

A statement by police officer Adam Snedker states that, on June 22, Craig knocked on the window of the police headquarters and complained that he had been "drug down to this office" and that he hadn't heard back from the police in over a week. Craig was asking for information to pass to his lawyer. Snedker writes: "To note, Craig appeared agitated and demeaning during my first contact with him even though I did my best to answer his questions."

Craig apparently told Officer Snedker that he had been handcuffed during the arrest. The arresting officer, however, states that "I did not handcuff Craig" even though he was under arrest. Read the full arrest report here.

Jeanne GA et al,

This is more than not the first recorded incident.  Last year a gay "outing" advocate accused him of having engaged is homosexual acts with a high profile
Republican at of all places, Union Station.(I think they must secretly want to get caught)  Sorry, I  cant immediately get my hands on his web site cite.  The other guy revealed the circumstances, but even though some media carried the allegation, even in his hometown paper, it was squashed for lack of corroboration, whatever that could possibly mean in this context.  Another guy in the stall with them???

Also, it has been widely reported that he was "implicated" in a previous Congressional page scandal like that of Foley in 1982, but they could nor come up in that situation with direct evidence either.

My guess is the Repugs better shut this down quick and get him to resign before some affected pages come out of the woodwork a la Foley.
It's the whole hypocrisy of this, and other similar scandals that seems to have got people so riled up. And people like this give gay people a bad name!
This senator has made a living out of promoting his "family values" and attacking gay people. Yet there he is, engaging in perhaps the most dangerous as well as distasteful of gay sex: anonymous sex with strangers in a public restroom.
If this were an isolated incident, it would be one thing. But this is becoming commonplace amongst those who rail most loudly against gays.
I just hope that in the very near future, gay bashing by any public figure, especially one seeking election will actually be seen as a warning sign of a self-hating latent homosexual!
So, let's see:  the Democrats are sinful, so therefore they are at fault for Mr. Craig's situation.  Also the Clintons are at fault, apparently for being heterosexual.  Also Barney Frank proves somehow that the Democrats are at fault. The Republican party line is hypocritical.  In truth, both parties are corrupt and think they're better than the people they "represent".  Is there an honest person in government??  I doubt it.
He, like many Republicans, is not only gay but a hipocrit as well.
agitated and demeaning? of course, wouldnt you be if you were left standing with a giant erection?
he got caught in the potty b4 going to the pokey

Brent Rice --> Larry Craig is not Gay.

Senator Craig is gay.  He paid his dues, he joined the club.  He is gay.

Brent Rice --> I am gay, and I live out in the open with my partner.  He is a closeted tr**l.

Tr**l? He's a closet Trout Sniffer?
Is there no end to this?  Oh, the humanity!

Brent Rice --> Too bad Idaho, but then again I am form Alaska, and we have Uncle Ted and his sticky fingers..

Don't go there man, just don't go there.
I am a long time demo voter. It bothers me that the right wing R side beats up all even their own. Give the man a break you can love encluding sex with a female but also have a need for a male. This has been going on since the beginning of time. Ones sexual fealings should have nothing to do with all are world problems.

What kind of country do we live in that one can be accused and arrested for simply touching another mans shoe? What will be considerd soliciting next? Maybe dropping your cell phone?
Nick you sure seem to be up on all the signals. I guess I will have to defer to your knowledge. Sex in a bathroom gay or straight is pretty weird to me. Im sure the govt will spend a couple million dollars of our money to prove the guy is sick.. Oh well one less pervert in office cant be a bad thing. Maybe B Frank will be next...
From socialist New York City:  We are highly amused.  Larry Craig, we thank you for giving us something other than re-runs and George Steinbrener to laugh at in the heat of August.
I participate in this kind of activity regularly, so everything the officer says happened does happen. the issue here is Entrapment! the officer needs to get the offender to play. im sure the officer wasn't just sitting there doing nothing. Tapping a foot finger under the stall even touching feet these things do happen even in Innocent situations but also as a come on to having sex. again the issue here is entrapment. with all the serious problems going on in this country, only the homophobic of us would really care. Do the police do sting operation in straight bars lots of sex goes on in bathrooms there. The government has no business pretending to break the law to entrap someone into breaking the law. and many times the officer will embellish the truth just to get a conviction or plead it down to a lesser charge. clearly what happened here. STINGS ARE ENTRAPMENT! but Judges just will not rule against the police in these matters, just for the sake of making their job easer not in the name of justice and the bill of rights.
