"Shes incredibly magnetic and powerful."

True statement if you like being repulsed and sprayed by a skunk.
Poor Sam...from my state and knows that his days as a Senator are numbered...just trying to get another job...can't blame him for that.
Sam Brownback? Never heard of him.
WoW! Another "wide-stance" wingnut, playing to an empty house.

Could it be America, and the world, are tired of the GOP's hypocrisy over Democracy? Let's hope so.
Dave of Boston, is that you sitting in that Brownback group of eight repubs? You'll be crying in your martini on election day. Angry sissy boy.
Man, I hear a lot of people saying it's either some "X" valued Republican or Hillary. Nobody seems to factor in that maybe there is another choice for Democrats.

As a Democrat, I would hate Hillary's being elected as much as I would GW being granted a third term. To me, she's a washed up politican, corroded by the partisan system and a relic of a counter-active era in Washinton.

So if you don't mind, don't lump all us Democrats together, and vice versa.

And for everyone saying, "It's really mean to post this picture," just shut up and go away. It's funny. A man running for president standing in a nearly empty room; it isn't politics. It's just funny.
I'll bet half of that group is the sound crew, ha-ha.
How up front of Front Page to not post the explanations that Politico received.

That was the tail end of an event. Many of the attendees were students who had to leave for a class.

Well done, Merten and Murray, don't let the facts ruin a good jab.

"Hail, Hail the Gang's all here" Those of you who are protesting this picture posting must hate seeing the truth.....typical kool-aid drinking 29 percenters...
Dave, from Boston said this (look for 1:39pm here):
"Relax Democrats, we will have the last laugh when you see us celebrating another 2008 Republician Presidental win...another oops for you guys.. ha ha"
its funny how he didnt actually mention a candidate that he was willing to support..just the typical mind-numbing idiocy of a short soundbite that most republicans rely on to get by these days. R's have ZERO substance and the above comment confirms it.
.... and this is the Log Cabin Republican Club!

wanna fix government?...cut off the oxygen supply to the entire GOP...
that is the only real solution...
Yeah, but they all came forward for the altar call.
Perhaps this was during the pre-speech period?  Probably not!  Senator Brownback is a decent guy - I do not agree with him on many issues.  It is a shame that it takes events/pictures like this to remind the world that the field is a bit crowded.
you people amaze me. Media sheep. Whatever these idiots in the press tell you to believe, you believe. How soon we forget how awful and degrading were all the things Bill clinton did and how WEAK his foreign policy was - which opened the door for terrorist attacks and other things that happened TO happen. But that's okay....you just keep believing the media spin on things okay? Oh by the way......who RUNS the media? Oh yeah LARGE CORPORATE INTERESTS. Think THEY have an unbiased view of things? Good thing George W Bush was in office the last 8 years because god knows what would have happened had he not been, and god help us for the next 8 (I'm sure the media moguls have assured 8 years of the Democratic party). I have an idea.....as strange as this may sound, what might have happened if, instead of belittling and pushing and fighting against everything the bush administration tried to do and DID do, both parties worked TOGETHER...hmmmmmmm wonder if we'd still be in Iraq if we had complete support here at home. You think you lost rights with the Republicans? taking your rights...AND your money is a basic tenet of Democratic policy.
Everyone that was previously in Brownback's camp has abandoned him for Huckabee's camp.  Huckabee has clearly emerged as the conservative candidate, and the choice of evangelicals.  Senator Brownback is a decent man...but his campaign is over.
Every other outleet that ran this picture updated it with the further info that it was at the end of a speech at a university, and most of the students left to go to a class.

Not MSNBC, though. Keep up the good, unbiased work guys.
Brownback deserves some credit here. Its a lot harder to give a speech at a poorly attended event than to cancel it.  Just goes to show you he has some gumption.  Hillary or Obama would NOT have gone on with the show.  And BTW GW is NOT the GOP. He just happened to be the person who knew how to take the Presidency.
Senator Larry Craig talks to more people in a Minneapolis Airport Mens Room.
You didn't count the ones in the mens room.  Elevator9
Hey Dave, Boston MA, which state does your gop plan to steal this time?  Gotta be one, because they can't seem to win an honest election anymore.  Lets see...first it was Flori-duh, then O-lie-o, right?  You sound like an "insider", so come on.  You can tell us.  We promise not to blab it to a soul....
I have NO idea why the Repugnants are whining about this picture. Remember the pictures of Kerry in Iraq sitting by himself? Reading his notes? And how the Repugnants used that picture to say that even the troops won't sit with Kerry? Remember that? According to Repugnant behavior rules, it is OK to take a misleading picture and recaption it. But their hypocritical natures make them whine when others do it to them. Brownback is an primitive woo-worshipping IDIOT and he is one of the Senators from MY state. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
