Hagel to discuss political future

From NBC's Ken Strickland and Mark Murray
Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel (R) will be holding a press conference on Monday at the Omaha Press Club to discuss his political future.

Note: Several months ago, Hagel held a similar press conference, in which he was expected to discuss a possible presidential bid. But, to the disappointment of many reporters who traveled to Nebraska for that, he didn't make any news.

This time, it's expected he'll discuss whether or not he seeks another Senate term. He is up for re-election next year.

Oh god, can this get any worse for the republicants, it sound like another one sees the light, that the R's are going to be toast in the next election. Run forrest, Run, the bushtantic is sinking.
Switching to be a Democrat finally Chuck?  Run on that ticket, and see haow far you get in Nebraska.
WELL, WELL, Hagel you have emerged, where the hell have you been lately?  All bark were you no bite though. What's upchuck?
Chuck Hagel and Ron Paul are the only two 'decent' Republicans on foreign policy.
I wouldn't like eithers' domestic agenda, but I have to respect their honesty.

It speaks of Neroism when these two are considered 'fringe' in the Republican party, while Bush, Cheney, Romney and Guiliani are considered 'mainstream' Republicans !!

Nobody ever went broke, underestimating the intelligence of the American people.

Chuck, Ron you're both good men !!
Chuck, what do they have on you! It can't be that bad. Look at J.F. Kennedy, people still love him. I admire they way you stood up to the pres., and I'll never forget your remarks about "selling shoes."
Chuck Hagel is an honorable person ....... not many of those in Congress, none in the White House and very few in Corporate America!!!!  I don't blame him for leaving .......... who wants to take the chance that continued exposure to corruption & stupidity are catching!!!!

Just so you know I am an Independant and think both parties SUCK BIG TIME!!!!
What a hero? He's the only reublican with conscience and his value should be applauded. I'll like to see Obama/Hagel in 2008.
I'm NOT surprised about the Senate race, but the Presidential race kinda surprises me. I thought for sure he was going to attempt a run. But I suspect, he may ed up as a Democrat's Veep candidate.

BTW: I voted for Hagel in his first Senate race.

Hagel rhymes with bagel and stinks of onion.  Roll on outa' here, looser, and take up residence with the droppings of Sand Hill Cranes.
