-$10,000: Roundtable for hosts who raise this amount
-$2,300: Per person photo opportunity and lunch
-$1,000: Per person lunch

How is it that you guys at First Read jumped on the CBS poll that showed that more people trusted the military than Congress to find a solution for Iraq; but are completely SILENT on the newest CBS poll that shows that support for a withdrawal from Iraq has gone UP (within the margin of error, though) after Petraeus' dog and pony show?

This is a CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING EVENT for the UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, and it's being held by GIULLIANI in LONDON, ENGLAND.
If the Clinton's did something like this the Limbaugh/Hannity/O'reilly crowd would be yelling about it from the rooftops.

Not only does the London fundraiser trouble me (unless it is limited to American voters/citizens living overseas), but the failure of the event to be analyzed/criticized by Fox News will only increase my already-existing distrust of a network that claims to support the war and the troops fighting it but fails to show true respect to those who make the utlimate sacrifice by somehow having no time to report when those ultimate sacrifices have been made.

...Romney's "Significant Buy" of broadcast and cable paid for with campaign donations arranged by Alan Fabian, who is under indictment for 23 counts incl: mail fraud, bankrupcy fraud, money laundering, perjury, obstruction of justice.

With Alan Fabian handling the money and Larry Craig handling the johns...bathrooms, that is, what's left for Romney to do? Smile big while he misleads voters about everything from his record as Governor to his faith.

Realize that this fundraiser is for american citizens only, and had you read the invitation you would see that a valid US passport is required to participate. Why should an american who may be in London for a short stint on business not be able to support his favorite candidate for president of his country. Its as american as apple pie.
