More on Rudy's surprise call

Posted: Friday, September 21, 2007 1:34 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC's Mark Murray
As mentioned earlier today, during his NRA speech, Giuliani's cellphone rang and he answered it. It was wife Judy on the phone.

We mentioned we've seen this before. In fact, a rival campaign sends us a YouTube clip of today's phone call and one from June

Whipped!!
Its Judy's duty to call cutie Rudy!
What out for that one.  She is a climber.

We all know who wears the pants in that family.
Seriously,  Tootsie was probably getting an important brief from Judy on how to counter biological terror threats.  She is an expert in that field you will remember.  Rudy says so.
That phone thing is so silly.  Is Rudy trying to make us think he has a good marriage?  He should not keep bringing up is new wife.  That will make people look more closely at the other 2.

Rudy turn off the phone.
Dickie, I just want you to know - you literally have me laughing a$$ off. Whenever First Read posts a story on either Rudy and Thompson, I know there's going to be a few posters here showing their humorous side.

It's not hard considering what a joke these two candidates really are.

In all seriousness, I really do believe Fred Thompson is kinda asleep at the wheel. But I guess he's the GOP's savior. They must be in pretty tough shape in that party. Hmmm.
D Minter:  You mean his cousin - the first girl he married?

"Nothin' spells luvin' like marryin' yer cousin", said Al Bundy.
She called to remind him how poorly endowed he was so he would fit in credibly with the NRA members.
This is just another example of how lame a president Rudy Giuliani would be!!  I can see it now...he's in the middle of the State of The Union address or meeting with some foreign leader and he has to stop and answer the phone because his new wife beckons.  What kind of crap is that!!!  You don't stop in the middle of a speech to answer your phone.  Doesn't he have staff he pays to do that for him - I mean really...how juvenile is that!
Avon calling.
The heck with the people he was speaking to. His personal things come first. If he has to be rude thats just too bad. Don't forget now, he is a selfish arrogant repub just like bush.
I watched the video. He said it was his wife calling before he looked at the phone. How did he know? Think it was staged? He said a whole bunch of "I love you". Maybe it was to bolster his "family values"
nuanced, you are right. On second thought it did looked staged. But is he that stupid?
Well you know it could not have been one of his kids calling since they don't speak to him!

Can't wait to compare/contrast his disfunctional relationship with his kids to the great and constructive relationship that Hillary shares with Chelsea!

Talk about family values -!
From whose campaign did the, "heads-up", come?
"Ain't love grand?"

third time's a charm as they say...
Can you imagine this during Bill Clinton's years in the White house?????

Bill (standing to give a speech) "my fellow Americans"...

telephone rings

Bill: Hello?
Hillary Where are you?
Bill:  getting ready to give a speech dear.
Hillary:  yeah right, you're with (pick a woman)
Bill:  No I'm not, I'm giving a speech darlin.
Hillary:  When you get home, I'll beat you with my frying pan!
Bill:  Hillary, turn on CNN or CSPAN and I'll prove you wrong!!!!!!!!!!!
(TV turns on)
Hillary: Oh my god, for once you are telling the truth.
Bill:  I'll see you at dinner, Fried Chicken?
jerry, that was nasty but funny
