Is Al Gore headed overseas?

From NBC's Chuck Todd and Mark Murray
Drudge linked to a San Francisco Chronicle blog post -- which noted that Al Gore cancelled a fundraiser with Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) because he was called overseas for a trip related to his work on global warming -- and speculated that Gore is Nobel-bound.

But according to a Gore spokeswoman, the former vice president is NOT headed overseas.

"The events (including Boxer's) in California were postponed because of a request to participate in senior level meetings on the climate crisis in Asia," spokeswoman Kalee Kreider tells First Read. "However, early Thursday morning these meetings were postponed. As a result, he is resuming his schedule in California including meetings on Friday with the Alliance for Climate Protection. Friday will be a normal long business day. He will return to his home in Nashville, TN on Saturday."

IntheMIddle, if you "dont really care if you like it [your views] or not", why are you continously defending them? And this elaborite peeing contest is ascinine. On the internet, your credentials are worthless (expecially in a blog) and they only distract the true arguement at hand. Would it be fair if I stated that I have 2 degrees and people like me are the reason why YOU are alive. (I want a thank you card right now).

I'm sick and tired of your consistant libral bashing and insults. Though the concept of a "man" is quite abstract, I'm sure trolling wouldn't quite fit the definition. Oh yah, dipshit, joining the military isn't the only option to aid America. Don't undermind other's actions because they don't fit in YOUR specific ideals. PS. your gov't belief has NOTHING to do with intelligence.
Kat: And just what are you doing for your country that you obviously hate? I dont even know you or have ever said anything to you. BTW my credentials mean a lot. It means I can speak about things I know of personally, not just from what others say. I speak in the first person not hearsay. P.S. It takes one DIP-SHYT to know another.
