Romney taking NV seriously

Posted: Saturday, October 13, 2007 1:34 PM by Chuck Todd

From NBC/NJ's Erin McPike
SPARKS, Nev. -- Mitt Romney was warmly received by the Nevada Federation of Republican Women at the Nugget Casino Friday after heavily appealing to the crowd.

"Women really manage a good part of my life," he said to loud cheers. He then told the crowd about a couple of women in high-level positions on his campaign. And he further explained that when he was governor, a SUNY school surveyed governors' offices for the number of women each employed in senior positions and found that he was No. 1.

Asked by an older woman how as the nominee he would go about beating and attacking Hillary Clinton given her gender, he explained that when he opposed a woman, Shannon O'Brien, when running for governor of Massachusetts, he ran against her "as a person, not a woman." He added, "I intend to do that again."

In his remarks, he invoked Clinton's comments to the Boston Globe: "I have a million ideas. The country can't afford them all. To more laughter, he said, "I now have a million good reasons not to vote for a Hillary Clinton."

The group of about 250 was receptive to a number of his lines and corrected him twice when he first said he was in Detroit and then said he was in Reno. They shouted "Sparks!" the second time about the small town that sits on the outskirts of the mountain city. Attendees also erupted when he used a line he often uses on the stump when discussing spending that originated from a voter's question in Nevada, Iowa, explaining the different pronunciation as he often does, but finally getting the big laugh. And at the end of his remarks, he received a standing ovation as former Nevada Gov. Kenny Guinn (R) greeted him. "Kenny Guinn, boy he's a heartthrob, isn't he?" Romney said.

Rosa White, who attended the town hall and was working concurrently at the Conservative Leadership Conference being held at the same location, said after that Rmney connected well with the crowd and believes he's doing better in Nevada compared to other top Republicans because "He speaks our language.

"I think the Clinton clan is running scared because this guy is clean," she said.

Hebrews 5:11

(my misspellings are purposeful)hebrews 11:1
Sinlessness is a state of perpetual justification, devinely illuminated, the essence of our ability to move from one place(framed covenant) to another believeing we are improving ourselves.  One "is" sinless if one believes on Jesus name as simple as possible.  The framework of your life deminishes until one sees the manifestation of a pure condition, perfect relation with your "brother" asking nothing and giving nothing but receiving all.  Hosea 1:10  Do not hate the spiritual leaders of our time for not formulating a personal understanding of this freedom, it is their job to maintain the atrocious fixation of human control. Luke 17:10
imagine, if one may, how franchizing created and maintained a homogenization of the country. apply this concept in a context of capital gains and "realize" the head.  this is the physical reprsentation of the invisible charcteristc of god, but not.  Where is this head...can it move, probably not because it is held in the minds of millions across the world as being in manhatten.  9/10ths of the law says "they" are in charge.  play the mental game with me...i am the physical center of my economic reality...jesus being the center of my eternal reality says i am exactly where i should be.Colossians 3:16
I am so glad to finely start hearing all the good things about Mitt. I realy feel he is going to be our next President , and the only one smart enough and good enough to give us our Country back.
Well Mitt Romney is leading in Nevada

and I think he is smart to campaign everywhere. Other candidates have won New Hampshire in the past (John McCain) only to get nowhere...

Go Mitt!
So now republicans hate America, middle class children and Gen Sanchez. Apparently they hate anyone who speaks truth to power. Luckily they are only about 30% of the population since real independents have seen through the half truths and lies of this administration.

A disaster. that is what the General said and he didn't stutter when he said it.

I've heard Rush Limbaugh speak about the difficulty facing Hillary in the general election--that you can't "hit" girls and Lazio in the NY senatorial race with Hillary, simply approaches her podium and the press went wild about the visual aggression toward her.  Mitt ran against a "girl" and won. I think he can do it again.  He is a gentleman and it will be fun watching his keen intellect and and sense of humor over power her.  I cannot wait to see them faceoff in a debate.
Seems odd that Romney made two stump speaches yet still lost the staw poll to Ron Paul who did not come.

1st Ron Paul 33%
2nd Mitt Romney 16%

Hillary plans on running against Mitt, "as a Repulican, not a Human.".
If Rommey gets the nod he'll run with a woman VP to counter the gender/Hillary issue.
Go Mitt!
Mitt Romney now thinks he is Ronald Reagan and is using every opportunity to draw the comparison.  Yet this is just another position he will be shown as a flip-flopper on.  Please watch and enjoy Mitt distance himself from President Reagan in 1994 when I guess it wasn't cool to be Reagan.

Mr. Romney might be taking Nevada seriously, but Nevadans aren't buying it.  Look at this weekends straw poll...Ron Paul wins with 33% while not attending and Mitt Romney attends and gets 17%.
What happened MSNBC?
