Tancredo has a good idea. If only we could have settled Iraq with a duel between Bush and Saddam. It would have been a win-win situation.  Maybe Bush and Bin Laden can work out a such a solution.

Wow, what a novel way to pick a president, how about a gladiator fight, that would keep us from talking issues and enjoying spilt blood at the same time. I have a better idea mr. tankcreedo, we get a barrel of pickles, filled to the brim with pickles in brine, each candidate is given a full minute to find the largest pickle using only his or her teeth, the candidate that gets the largest pickle wins. Ta Da, no muss-no fuss. All this talk about credentials will wear thin by the end of this election cycle. In the general election it will ring hollow and people will see the two sides they talk to get elected. The rebumplikans are between a rock and a president who is dumber than a rock, I can see why they need to prove credentials, they have strayed from their core principles in order to support the BOY KING.

Pretty sure dueling had fallen out of favor by 1908.  But then again, reality has a well known liberal bias.

Why is it that all you ever see online (towards Tom) is hatred and people fueling ignorance.  How many posters here have actually visited www.teamtancredo.org?  How many people have watched/listened to his speeches?  He is burdened with the knowledge of what is ACTUALLY wrong with America and is here to help us get out of harm's way.  George Washington once said that ammendments are a great tool that can be used for great good, but if they are used to frequently, the country will unravel.  What happened to Rome?  Please people, I beg of you, stop watching MAINSTREAM media and read what candidates are saying.  How will a candidate fair after an election if half their support dollars come from financial, health care, and other for-profit organizations?  Tom has a built-in constituancy with TRUE conservative republicans and will fight for every American's rights.  He is to the bone and core an honest man that is tired of America not being what is was established to be - the best damn country on the planet!

Thank you, Shane!  I agree with everything you say.  I believe Tom is the best candidate out there and probably the only GOP Candidate who can beat Hillary Clinton.  After you listen to Tom speak, you will know that he only cares about the American people.  He will do anything to keep us safe.  He is also the only candidate who believes in saving the American Culture.  This is one of the main reasons why Tom has won my vote.  He is one candidate that I know will help pass down the American Culture to my kids and grand kids.  

Tom Tancredo is also the only candidate who speaks openly that this war we are in is actually against Radical Islam and not Iraq.  Iraq is just a battlefield in this larger war.  If we leave Iraq that is not going to end all terrorism.  That would be great if it did but it's not.  Tom's suggest passing over power to the Iraqi Police.  This way the Iraqi civilians will be working with Iraqi's instead of Americans as a police force.  Some Americans will still need to be there to make sure that the Iraqi's can handle the job.

Tom was appointed by the Ronald Reagan to be the regional representative in Denver for the Department of Education.  He thinks that the parents should be involved in schooling and not the Federal Government.  He is also against the No Child Left Behind Act.

If you don't know already, Tom, is completely against illegal immigration.  If you are against illegal immigration well then Tom is the candidate for you.  He has been fighting illegal immigration for nine years now.  He will end illegal immigration without deporting everyone too.  Tom says if you cut off the magnet (employers of illegal immigrants) then the illegal immigrants will leave.  This way the magnet is broken and there is no reason for all of the illegal immigrants to flock here.  

ALSO, what needs to be pointed out is illegal immigrants are not only Hispanics.  It is people from all over the world who hop on a plane and never leave American once they get here.  We don't even know who is in our country anymore and that is scary, especially in a day and age of terrorism.

Please learn about Tom Tancredo before you bash him.  I truly believe if you gave Tom a chance and actually listened to him speak about the issues that you would vote for him too.  God Bless America.  It takes a TANC to lead our country!

Congressman Tancredo does not want to bomb Mecca. He does not wish to bomb Mecca. His comments on that point were in response to a hypothetical question asking what he might suggest to stop a credible, imminent threat of a terrorist nuclear attack upon America if it were believed that the terrorists in question were hard-core islamists. Terrorists who were so deep into their religion that only the -threat- of the destruction of Mecca may dissuade them from killing multiple millions of American citizens.  It is only the Main Stream Media that has changed and reworded the Congressman's comments to where they say he said he would bomb Mecca to avoid some unknown, possible future attack.  Such rewording is an incorrect and very misleading representation of the Congressman's comments.  As for the shootout with Govenor Romney, Congressman Tancredo would probably win.  Should they actually ever have such a contest though, I would suggest that they first shoot at their own political flip-flops on issues, as this would give the Govenor plenty of practice prior to any real contest with the clay targets. As for the Congressman, not only does he not need the practice, but neither does he change his stance just to appease the current audience.

Tancredo is the only candidate running, that is not a politically correct spineless politician. As a deterrent he has made it clear he would put a bomb, down the center of Mecca and Medina, if the Islamic Fascist nuke us.He will enforce our immigration laws,is pro American, and has the record to back his limited government ,low taxes agenda.

It is perfectly correct for Tom Tancredo to suggest that as president he would threaten Islamic terrorists with the bombing of Mecca if it appeared Islamic terrorists were about to detonate nuclear devices in seven or eight U.S. cities.  Islamic terrorists murdered nearly three thousand Americans on September 11, 2001.

Tom Tancredo is the last best hope for this country. Ron paul is the dennis kucinich of the republican party, a seven star kook. All the other candidates just pay lip service to the issues, Tom speaks of facts and what action he would take. Tom Tancredo is a man of high conviction, if only the people of this country would look at what is happening to it. I encourage friend or foe of Tom to go to his website, and educate yourself about the ONLY true conservative republican running.
