Emerson endorses Giuliani

Posted: Monday, October 22, 2007 2:45 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC/NJ's Matthew E. Berger
Giuliani
today picked up the endorsement of Missouri Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (R). It gives him a good congressional endorsement in another Feb. 5 state with more than 50 delegates at stake -- to go along with strong operations in Illinois, California, and the New York tri-state area.

Emerson is vice president of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which jives with Giuliani's calls to expand interaction with NATO in an effort to marganilize the United Nations. It also gives him another congressman who leans conservative in his corner.

Giuliani is also expected to get another endorsement tomorrow morning at a press conference in Boston, before he starts campaigning in New Hampshire.

So if Rudy wants to start a war with some country that had a gripe with a member of his family, and has some oil besides, he's got one vote FOR.
A Giuliani Presidency would be all about starting more MidEast war, given the advisors he has: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/056028.php
Yes, Rudy doesn't stick his head up hie a** like the Democrats.  Nothing wrong with kicking a little Jihad butt.  Peace songs, slogans, and sticking your head in the sand just won't hack it.
Who? looks like more want to bes trying to make a name for themselves by endorsing early. Perhaps Rudy will pick her for a running mate, or as the case maybe 'a mate'.
Rudy and his crosseyed queen bee,Judith would be like hornets to the religious right -------wonder what they will do about it?Run to the supreme court to to be crowned? This site gets sillier everyday.I'm sure the firefighters and 9-11 families will all be out campaigning for this guy(rudy).
Nice.  Using a liberal blog to attack a Republican candidate.  That's just silly.  Using an article from TPM is like using an article on freerepublic to attack Ms. Clinton.

Like it or not, he looks like the guy for the GOP right now and his favorable rating is significantly higher than Ms. Clinton in a general election.

I say that we start looking at the candidates for what they really are, and not their party, and not try political assassination.  This nation is way to divided as it is.  I say, let all the candidates speak, and then make a non-partisan decision on who you want to back.  Let's bring America back together again.
I thought it was KEITH Emerson...

Van
So does Rudy have one of the Republican senators
The good thing about Guiliani is he will pick up the moderate vote. He will pick up Democrats marginalized by Clinton. If our conservatives vote and he should pick up a lot of independent voters. Because, of the high Clinton negatives plus, the stuff she is supporting.  He should be good.
Rudy is a warmongering whore...just look at his official and unofficical advisors...do the names john bolton, Frum, and all the rest that brought us the cakewalk in Iraq mean anything? These guys want to blow up the middle east in some wrongheaded attempt to bomb 1 billlion or so arabs into submission..
Van....it's no big deal, Rudi has support from Emerson....we haven't heard from Lake and Palmer yet, so all the hype really doesn't indicate if he is a 'Lucky Man' or not. Emerson only brings 33% with him, not enough for the nomination...
