Edwards Puts Clinton On Side Of The "Neo-Cons"

Posted: Tuesday, October 30, 2007 9:20 PM by Chuck Todd

From NBC's Chuck Todd
Edwards just connected the dots that some thought Obama would connect re: the Iran issue. Early on, he's doing a better job of drawing distinctions with Clinton than Obama. Dropping "neo-con" a few times in his response on Iran was a smart way to alert Democrats of his opposition. For the true activists, "neo con" is a four-letter, um, phrase.

The video of the debate won't play on the website. Way to go...
MSNBC STREAMING ISN'T WORKING!
what is "neo con"??
FIX THE LIVE VIDEO FEED
What's the problem with MSNBC.com?  They have the "click to watch the debate live" picture at the top of their website, but of course the "video is not available".  Unreal.  The one time I would actually watch MSNBC and they've managed to screw it up.
Your site's broken streaming video sucks a big fat one. We wouldn't need you to do this silly blog if you guys just fixed your video service.
talking points... talking points... talking points.
Once again, the Democrats offer nothing of substance, rather regurgitating the same old DNC memo highlighted points.

When will America wise up and read between the lines?
These people talk an awful lot for saying absolutely nothing.
Chuck, you are trying to spin it as you have been doing these days
Edwards, brings out a clearer distinction between himself and Clinton without being necessarily negative. I wouldn't be surprised if he overtakes Obama.
Edwards is doing what Democrats haven't wanted to, show what Clinton is really about.
I agree with your comment. To me it looks like Edwards is calling out Clinton (like he said he would) more than B.O.
B.O. Is also going along with a lot what she is saying ( he also is studdering. Can we say thats what we want. A yes man or a do man.
He's calling her out again. Go man! Go man!
Why is does she keep avoiding the questions by turning it around on Bush. What is she going to do about in office if she is elected. Stop concentrating on bush and start concentrating on yourself
Edwards' use of the phrase "neo-con" works against him, I think. I look at each candidate from both parties before choosing the person I will vote for.
Phrases like "neo-con" and "leftwing nut" are off-putting.  Edwards needs to stick with the issues and drop the name-calling.
What on earth is a neo-con? What are they talking about?
Please, what do they mean about neo-con? What is that? I've nevder heard that word.
Neo-con: Neo conservative. It is a social movement that rejects liberalism.  Both of the Bush's administrations have been based on neoconservatism. Most neocons were liberals that switched to the "other side" during the 70's and aligned themselves with Pres. Reagan in the 80's.
