High-tech Huckabee... at last?

If you needed a sign that the Huckabee campaign is kicking in to a higher gear and getting ready to take Iowa on, this just might be it.

Huckabee Iowa State Director Eric Woolson just called to say he HAS/HAS purchased a Blackberry. NBC/NJ reported last month that the longtime Iowa insider and de facto local communications director did not carry a hand held email device, a fact many took as a sign of Huckabee's shoe-string organization.

"I couldn't email you to tell you because I haven't figured out how to turn it on yet," joked Woolson, who has absorbed much of his boss's folksy humor. He says he will get a tutorial from the governor's daughter Sarah today.

Woolson decided to buy the device in recent weeks and announced the decision at a recent high-level staff meeting of the candidate's national staff. He reports that everyone cheered.

He is still considering a name for the new toy, but is strongly considering "Barry."

A new general election poll from Tennessee has the race stunningly close, with Hillary tying Giuliani and even competitive against native son Fred Thompson! Poll link:  http://www.campaigndiaries.com/2007/11/morning-polls-more-proof-that-2008.html
Did you guys get the 'Lying Waitress' thing figured out yet? I can't tell if she had two jobs or if she had three. The third being a 'Plant' for one of the GOP Candidates, 'Swift Waitresses for Baloney Sandwiches w/o Tip"? Kind of a Watergate-thing you have to expect from the 'Sons of Nixon', eh?
Oh great the media judges a candidates merits based on "Blackberry Love."  What did you ever do in the days of typewriters?     :  )
the Huckster is too late as usual. Huckabee for pres? I think NOT.
Next thing they will get is...(gasp)... a cell phone!
Interesting. Really.

What's Ron Paul up to?
What's Ron Paul up to?
Probably trying to figure out how to keep the National Socialist Nazi party, the Klan and the Farrakhan blacks from going after each other instead of the Jews? Not sure how the 9-11 truthers figure in.
And this is the guy (Huckabee) some want to lead the free world and have his hand on the nuclear button?

Hope (AK) not!

God that is a bad pun . . .
Gary, Franklin, WI ...

Do not worry as our nuclear capabilities are also a throwback to the Cold War.  But if you'd prefer, we could hook them up to a Blackberry   ;  )
AK = Alaska.  Huckabee is from Arkansas (AR).  Also, some seem to have missed that this is talking about Huckabee's Iowa campaign director, not Huck himself.
To: Brad, Fayetteville, AR

Thanks for catching the misspelling. Have not yet heard from the Huckabee campaign on that, unless you're their web master.

It should have read:

"And this is the guy (Huckabee) some want to lead the free world and have his hand on the nuclear button?

Hope (AR) not!

God that is a bad pun . . ."

It is still a bad pun . . .

In response to NSMSNBC - the Blackberry is becoming passe, how about launching through your iPhone!
Who cares what latest money pit device anyone has, the phone companys are laughing all the way to the bank, need it for emergenecies my butt, you are all being suckered. this is another non-issue hiding as important information, come on.
I watched a woman today kill my barn cat, she was on the phone and didn't see him, she probably had to call someone and tell them she just bought a wonderful new purse. I buried our poor PERSEUS and called the state cops, nothings going to happen, but I was so mad I think I'll wait for her and throw some rocks at her nice big safe gas guzzling SUV!
ERNEST T. BASS is my hero!
