Giuliani hits back at McCain

From NBC/NJ's Matthew E. Berger
Giuliani got hit hard by McCain today, and Giuliani surprisingly hit back, suggesting McCain’s new loan doesn’t pass the smell test.

In a press statement today, Giuliani Communications Director Katie Levinson said McCain oversaw a campaign that “spiraled completely out of control and went bankrupt, and now, he wants a questionable $3 million loan.”

“Americans need someone in the White House who knows how to balance their own checkbook before they try to balance the federal government’s,” Levinson added. “They don’t need John McCain; they need Rudy Giuliani -- who has actually balanced a budget and made a payroll.”

This is not the first time Giuliani has faced an attack from McCain, but it is the first time the Giuliani campaign responded. Giuliani has been playing nice with McCain for months, publicly praising him at debates and saying that he would actually vote for McCain if he wasn’t running. Insiders say Giuliani feels he had the inside track to grab McCain’s endorsement if he had dropped out early and has been trying not to ruffle feathers.

The campaign also later sent out a series of 12 quotes from McCain praising Giuliani. They range from McCain recommending Giuliani as Homeland Security Secretary to several instances of calling Giuliani an "American hero."

She introduces that memo with the following testy quote: "Is this what desperation looks like?  Bernie Kerik’s issues have been known since 2004 and John McCain still had glowing things to say about Rudy Giuliani and his leadership.  What, exactly, changed today?  Best as I can tell, it’s just John McCain’s pure desperation in the face of a failing and flailing campaign trumping his so-called straight talk.  It is truly a shame that John McCain has chosen to stoop this low."

giuliani is nobody without 9/11 he  sterotypes everything that comes out of his mouth giuliani is a fixed idea or iamge of himself your BS is soon to catch up.

I find it hard to understand why the american voters are so easy to fool. Its my opinion the top tier candidates in both partys souldnt be there.

On the republican side with  Giuliani and Romney,. America better watch there [six] with these two guys.
Giuliani:  Is nobody without 9/11 he stereotypes everything that comes out of his mouth. Giuliani is a fixed idea or iamge of himself.
Romney:  is a micro manager. just a better looking Bush
Thompson: A good VP.
Huckabee: just another Carter

On the democrats side with Hillary and Obama,. We are being flank by all the democrats on this health care issue. Blind side with oversimplification.
Hillary:  I have my doubts we already have the first women speaker of the house in history. Her first 100 hours turn out to be a one way ticket to a nothing show.
Obama:  This guys is real scary talk about FAUTY LOGIC this man is a Harvard gratuate with a law degree I wouldnt let this guy handle a parking ticket for me.
Edwards:  All I see is Dan Quayle just go away to Mr Edwards.
Biden:  Is the best choice for a  the democrats. At lease he understands policy.

I don't think the American people or the media  fully understand this country is at war. This war is as real as real can get. A war started by a sitting United States President. In 2006 the Democrats took claim there party will end the war. The debate hosted by Tim Russert asked the question " Will you have the troops out by 2013?". Hillary, Obama and Edwards replied with the answer "NO". This reponse will continue the  body bags coming home intill 2013 and beyond. This war is a great big castle with four towers at each corner tower 1 is Iran  2 is Syria  3 is Pakistan              4 is Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The strategy was to put our military right smack in the middle of two court yards without secure borders the same dumb move has done in Vietnam. I guess we just have to face the fact america cant secure borders.

Its been said about President Truman.
"As President, Truman made some of the most crucial decisiions in history".

The next Commander - in - Chief  takes office on January 20th, 2009. He/ she will have to handle this Middle East nightmare that President Bush has initally started. The new President will have to find a new edge to Foreign Policy. The right touch of Dipolmacy will be key.

Senator John McCain is the only candidate on record that can bring this nation back to the center .He is the only one that can strategically top Mr. Truman's decision-making. He is the only candidate to resolve and unite this nation without a big boom.

Wow, Rudy's not affraid to stab friends in the back to divert attention from himself. But at least he's forever faithful to his "business associates."
What is the deal with Rudy and his constant focus on how he has "met a payroll"?  Does he think the Presidency is like being an Office Manager?
Mark Elgin is way off base.  President Bush has involved us in a war that has lasted longer than world war 2 and is no closer to ending it than ever.  Senator McCain is a Bush supporter in the war and believes we need to escalate it.  He better realize that we need to end this war and it won't happen with McCain.

Give me a break!

Rudy criticizes McCain for using a $3 million loan to keep his campaign alive?  This from the guy who used $16 billion in NYC debt to "balance the budgets"?  What a hypocrit!
"This guys is real scary talk about FAUTY LOGIC this man is a Harvard gratuate with a law degree I wouldnt let this guy handle a parking ticket for me."

Mark, are you sure - you wouldn't even consider hiring him to spell check for you?  Graduating and getting degrees are not such a bad thing, you know.  The can even prevent sentences with words like fauty and gratuate.
Rudy is right, America sure as hell doesn't need gasbag mccain anymore than we need "9-11" rudy!!
NONE OF THESE CANIDATES HAVE THE PEOPLES INTERESTS AT HEART,BUT THE WALLET THEY PUT THEIR PAYCHECK IN INSTEAD.I WILL NOT VOTE FOR NEITHER SIDE UNTIL I FIND A DESCENT HUMAN BEING WHO IS FOR THE PEOPLE,THE LAND WE LIVE ON AND OUR CHILDREN AT HEART.GROW UP PEOPLE AND REALIZE YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY THE ALMIGHTY AND YOU BETTER HOPE AND PRAY YOU DID THE RIGHT THING FOR THE INTEREST OF ALL HUMANITY...
Ok Mark we got it on the other threads, move on, new stuff, we get it, move on, new stuff, we get it moveonzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Are you done yet?
Mitt is the man!
is it just me or do these republican radicals still think they can still use the same old scare tactics to win an election. they actually do believe that the average american is an imbicile and will fall their hogwash again.they might be right. maybe we have become so complacent with believing their lies and their fabrications that we will fall for their deceiving us again. well, not me. i cannot believe that bush and chaney have not been impeached and we are still allowing them to continually destroy our country and our lives. the republicans spent millions of our tax dollars trying to impeach our last president because he had an affair. were any lives lost over that affair, did 4000 of our young men and women lose their lives because of it, was our image destroyed with all the other nations like it is now,did half of his cabinet lose their jobs because of illegal doings like they have now.ABSOLUTELY NOT> never in the history of this nation has there been a more corrupt administration than there is now. i don't care if you're a democrat or republican or whatever, we have all been duped, lied to, disgraced, and our good name damaged. and what are we doing about it? absolutely nothing. most of our representatives and senators are too afraid to make a move against this idiot bush.WHY????? something has to be done soon before this idiot starts another and destroy what's  left of our country. WAKE UP NOW.it just might be too late if we don't.
How funny is it that the two men the least capable of running this company are fighting over who is less incompetent than the other one. Republicans, please, could you at least give us a relative battle in 08; you're making this far too easy.
I believe Sen. John McCain is the only candidate that has the political and military experience to be the President of the United States. Prove it other wise.
John McCain might have a good hold on foreign policy, but his position on other issues such as healthcare, immigration etc. are unsound. The implimentation of these policies or even just putting McCain in office would devastate the US economy. He has no idea how to stabalize the dollar or balance a budget, he just knows how to fight a war and in my mind that is not enough to qualify someone to be President.
And as far as uniting the country, I don't think that he would be as successful as you might think. Despite his past record, flattering and inspirational speech tends to dwindle. You can't just take the troops out of Iraq. If you could the Democrats wouldn't be talking 2013.
The Countdown segment on Friday night showed what appears to be Rudy's version of the Corleone family. Not just Kerik, but five or six other 'Capos' who Rudy had on his 'Favorites' list, are questionable characters. Well, America has never had a 'Woman President' or a 'Godfather President'. If things continue the way they're going, we'll have a 'First' either way.
Rudy - A hero in his own mind.

The problem is who is on Gulies payroll, neo-con war mongers and people who see the golden calf and want a piece.
Bernie is not the only grifter that was on Gulies payroll.
Money and power always attracts the weasels.
