Second Clinton plant

From NBC/NJ's Athena Jones
DES MOINES, IA, Nov. 10 -- Geoffrey Mitchell told NBC/NJ in a telephone interview that a Clinton campaign staffer approached him at an event in Fort Madison, Iowa, to suggest he ask a question about the senator standing up to President Bush on Iraq war funding at an event.

Mitchell, a 32-year-old minister, said he was not and had never been a Clinton supporter and stressed that he had moved to Illinois since the April 2nd event and, so, could not participate in the caucuses. He said being asked to ask a certain question was not the way things were supposed to go.

"It's just not in the tradition of the Iowa caucuses,” Mitchell said. “They need to be answering the questions of the people going to the polls.”

The Clinton campaign's Mo Elleithee said earlier in the day that Mitchell and the staffer, Chris Hayler, were acquaintances.

"They knew each other and bumped into each other at the event,” Elleithee had said. “During the course of their conversation, the topic of Iraq came up. Our staffer suggested he ask a question. That's all.”

Mitchell disputes Elleithee’s account. "That is incorrect,” Mitchell said. “I did not know him. I met him that day.”

We reported earlier today that the Clinton campaign admitted to asking a student to ask a specific question at an event on Tuesday.

Thank you for listening Domenico!
What a joke. Apparently the only time she'll take a question is when it's asked by a "favorable plant" and when she actually takes a question from a real person she falsely accuses the person of being a plant.
hhhmmmm, now he says this? LMAO
Hi lil, apparently there is a think called "who is going to believe me?" in this USA where everyone is looking for 2 secs of fame.
Knockem
What did David Geffin say a few months ago?  "The Clintons lie with such ease, it's troubling" so this should surprise no one.

Her events are orchestrated for media photo ops.  I watched this at the Harkin Steak Fry.  The other candidates walked the whole barrier greeting everyone  even other candidates supporters, while Clinton stood in one area with staff waving her signs around her and the media video cameras rolling.
My fellow Americans, do you connect the dots? We are in a war that is killing our young people and ruining our middle class enonomy because of LIES....

We have Hillary Clinton married to the former President Bill Clinton, who was impeached becaused he is a liar...

Now Hillary Clinton is wanting to become the first woman to be our President and she doesn't answer questions and it it proven she is a LIAR since her campaign people planted people to ask favorable questions...

Do you notice when a lie occours the person and the people involved must continue to lie to cover up?....

Let us go back to morality and elect a person who is honest, has integrity doesn't believe in killing unborn babies (fetuses) and doesn't believe in torturing other human beings and believes marriage is between a man and a woman only.... someone who doesn't believe in overtaxing or stealing from the people to build their own wealth, someone who knows we deserve to have our social security... it is not and entitlement we each pay for this as we work no other generations pay for anyone else on social security but we do have debt that generations after us will have to pay because of Georg W. Bush and Cheney, Wolowitz and others in this administration who are all liars and nation builders nation stealers for oil etc....

Everyday you see more and more evidence that not only is Hillary working the george bush 2000 playbook but, is very much like him.
a vote for hillary is saying you like the way things are now because they will not change if she is president.
The more local coverage this kind of behavior gets in Iowa and New Hampshire, the more devastating to her campaign.  No one approves of tactics like this, and certainly not voters in early primary states.  How is Clinton supposed to be a change candidate if she uses the same phony question and answer scheme that Bush's Homeland Security Department was just busted for?
If this story is true, it boggles the mind how the campaign for a supposed front runner could make so many bad decisions lately.

Did Hillary go to the Bill Belichick school of campaigning?

I am just so amazed but not surprised that Hillary's camp would do this again and not think they would not get caught. I say camp, but this type of course taken can only truly be orchastrated by the Clintons and they need to again take responsibility.

I am not just not a Hillary supporter but I am also not in favor of supporting a camp of sneaky politics.

So Kudos...to the below statement that was made earlier ..
"of the My fellow Americans, do you connect the dots? When the first setup question was caught one of their camp people admitted to Fox News that it was a setup question, then the New York Post quoted another Hillary camper saying no they did not and both said it would not happen again...ummmm...but it did.  Can I support someone when I do not know if it's the truth that they speak? The answer NO. This is not Hillary Bashing it's just the truth and the guts to stand up for truth I seek from our next President. How about you?

^^ Re the above two posts:
You'd expect H. Clinton (? a reputed politician blah blah blah) to run a more disciplined campaign huh?
They making amateurish mistakes.
I am positive they aren't the only ones doing this..the stupid thing is getting caught.
If Obama doesnt say anything, then it could be a safe guess that he does the same thing. Maybe he is just silent so as to draw it into next week rather than letting it die over the weekend.
HMMM...if these (repugs & dems) r the best we have as americans, then I can safely say we r in for another 4-8 yrs of ***********.
Does this really surprise anyone?  Billary is one of the most polished politicians around.  Schemes, lies and denials.  Get used to it because if she does win we will get 4 to 8 more years of contentious politics with nothing getting accomplished in Washington.
Self destruct botton has been activated by the Clinton campaign.

***More update***

"I had no previous relationship with him," said Mitchell. "I knew his name and by name only as some who worked for Sen. Evan Bayh. But we didn't know each other and I had never met him before this event."

YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!
I have to say as one of the most die-hard Hillary supporters this really concerns me.  Everyting since the last debate seems to be going south for her if you get my expression.  I still think people need to realize that a lot of politics is a big P.R. spin.  No politician is completely honest, they are all marketing a product to the American people.  What needs to be realized is that she is the most equipped person in the race on either side to run this country and turn it around in a new and better direction.  I will never understand how some people criticize the way our government is controlled by corporations and money.  Everything in our lives revolves around corporations and money.  We may not realize it but capitalism makes the world go 'round.  Get used to it and get over it.  You can't change a system by removing yourself from it, the hippies proved that for us in the 60s.

Dot, Illinois

The story is true. It is a result of several things. 1. Her campaign hasn't been perfect contrary to the national media. They listen to spin, and report it as news. 2. Most of her Iowa staff is not from Iowa. They believe that this is how we operate in Iowa, it isn't. They do so many little things that offend people, it isn't even funny. 3. She was getting heat for failing to take questions at events, so she finally takes a couple questions at events, and freaks out because she's asked about her Iran vote . She called the guy a plant, he wasn't. Why did Hillary-not her staff- assume the guy was a plant, because that is how Hillary operates and she assumed everyone was like her. (wrong many candidates have ethics)4. It was clear when Hillary decided to hire 100 additional Iowa staffers (from the DC area)that her internals were showing problems. There are lots of signs of trouble in Iowa for Hillary.
okay first let me say that Edwards is my horse in this race and I would rather not see clinton get the nod,BUT why must all her press be so negative when you do fluff pieces on romney and paul every day. It seems as though you have a vendetta. bush has planted whole crowds and you remain silent.how many other campaigns both deomcrat or republican have done the same thing even to the point of turning non suppoters away, and it is a non story. It really does seem that the first read team lets their biases come through. you're now on the same field with fox news. yea for you. As stated earlier, I
am not a big hilary supporter, so if I see this I can just image what people that actually like her think.
STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clintons campaign looks like an amatuerish high school
student class president campaign, got caught playing politics, not surprised at the politics, surprised that they got caught.
OH I was a Plant for OBAMA!
I was a Plant for Edwards.
The Biden camp wants to plant me too!
But I am going for Ron Paul b/c he is PAYING more!

See, another Bush-Chenney lyte attributes. Remember George Bush did exactly the same thing in 2004 election. I guess Hillary is borrowing from that kind of campaign.

Sorry Hillary you just can help your self. How about sending you and your campaign staffs to Ethics class?
Bee how about sending you to English class, even spell check can not help you.

Yes Hillary can help herself and she does, we all saw how  to win a campaign in the repuke world, they are responsible for the charred ruins of our country.  Fight fire with fire!  TURN UP THE HEAT!!!!
Turn up the heat?  What a joke!  How about turn off Hillary's microphone.

It's simple.  If you like the country the way it is and believe we are on the right track, vote for Hillary, Republican Lite.

If you think the country is on the wrong track and we need REAL change, vote for Obama.
Hillary, Bush, and Giuliani, all went to the same campaign school, they all lie about the same.
Suggesting a questions isn't a plant.  It is a suggestion.  MSNBC makes it sound like a FEME press conference.  Lets be real.

leon: In case you didnt know, Bush is not running again. DUH....
HOW IRONIC
-first to angrily call out a voter for being a plant (which was unbased)

- then to actually get caught with plants for your own campaign
This just proves what I have said all along, she is a liar, nothing but, she will say whatever she thinks will get her elected, and change her story constantly to benefit whatever audience happens to be there.  She will do nothing for this country but make it worse, while her, her husband, and her special interests groups get richer and we get poorer paying more and more taxes.. everyone thinks she was so good to stand by her husband after his betrayals of her... not good, self serving, if she had left him, you think she'd be up there running for president now..  I think not.  They even use each other. They are both pathetic.
Please lets have an Edwards/Obama or Obama/Edwards ticket if we really want to change things
Hillary's planted questions have been going on for months, and the only amazing part of the story is that the media has taken so long to pick up on what has been happening with her campaign.  When Hillary spoke at the Quality Inn/Highlander in Iowa City on April 3, 2007, she arrived late and kept the crowd waiting for about 40 minutes as she huddled in a back room with Johnson County (Iowa) and Des Moines party functionaries.   Once she was introduced by Johnson Co. Supervisor Sally Stutsman and former Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack, she gave her prepared speech and then took about a half-hour's worth of questions from the audience, which surrounded her on four sides with Hillary at the middle of the indoor open square space.
To put on the appearance of  herself as the family values/loves kids candidate, about midway through her Q & A session Hillary took a rather long and highly scripted   question which a schoolgirl spent about a minute reading from a piece of paper she (the girl herself) held, as the girl  faced in the direction of the media risers and their cameras.  The girl had been positioned in the front row, at the center of her quadrant of the audience.  After Hillary gave her "isn't that cute" response, evidently imitated from the style pioneered by Art Linkletter half a century ago, she resumed taking questions from adults.
Finally, after another 10-15 minutes of Hillary ignoring children, Christie Vilsack rose and interjected, "it's almost time to go, time for one more question."   On that signal, Hillary went straight to a schoolboy located in the front row, middle of the audience, 180 degrees opposite from the schoolgirl.  Once Hillary gave another "isn't that cute" response to the boy with his back to the cameras, the Q & A was indeed over, and the crowd started dispersing.
The whole thing was as patently contrived at the schoolkids who provided "happy Chinese children" background for Nixon on his historic trip to China, viz. kids who had their jump ropes and hair ribbons confiscated as soon as Nixon left his outdoor appearance site.  So, I went to look over the kids in the Quality/Highlander audience a little more closely.  The girl and her mother were rewarded by having their picture taken with Hillary.  The boy was wearing a Hillary staff badge.   Just prior to this event, Hillary had promised ex-Gov. Tom Vilsack, who was there with Christie,  that she would help him retire his campaign debt from his recently failed presidential bid.   --END--
