It is impressive that the head of the 9-11 commission is endorsing McCain. That's a man who knows a lot about u.S. crisis putting a lot of trust in a man who knows a lot about serving his country.

If ever there was a person who should get down on his knees every night and thank the Good Lord for his having enough to eat and a roof over his head it's Kean. Here's a guy who has done nothing worthwhile in his entire life and one opportunity for a meal after another keeps coming his way . Mc Cain is just about dead in the water, and now someone is throwing him an anchor in the presence of Kean. Here's a guy who either doesn't know how to pronounce his own name, or maybe spell it. Kean , when I went to school was prounounced Keen. Not Cain. Brother, doesn't anyone look at his record, or remember that travesty he called the government of New Jersey when he was in charge. John, if you've got any chance to survive at all, it will be if you run from the likes of Kean , or any politico that comes from New Jersey.

I can only hope and pray that the American people can see through the blather and bs of mccain's "platform". He rails constantly about porkbarrel spending, which at least stays in the U.S. and provides jobs for Americans, but is the biggest cheerleader for the disaster in Iraq, where thousands of American lives have been lost or destroyed, and literally billions of our tax dollars have just simply disapeared, with absolutely no accountability. Plenty of other examples of him being totally out of touch with the majority of what Americans want to happen in our country. He has "experience" in Washington, which to me means he might as well be living on Mars.

Mccain is a mean spirited republican who will continue the national march off the cliff of rightwingnut policies against average americans...

The Marketplace Maverick returns.  Bazaars in Iraq will soon be strewn with signs that say "John McCain, Please Shop Elsewhere".  Hopefully, of course, the Senator will realize on his own accord that his presence is a danger in a dangerous situation, instead of again being blinded by his embrace of war-peddling ideology.  But I'm not holding my breath.

If we are going to stay in Iraq, McCain is the only candidate qualified to lead.  Personally, I think it is too little too late, which is why I still see Ron Paul as the only real choice.  McCain would make a nice mainstream VP though if we do elect a conservative to the Presidency for the first time since 1984.

I like McCain.  He is one of the few politicians who actually says what he believes, even if it costs him.  Good for him to go to Iraq.  I support him in the election.
