Romney: Tune to FOX

Posted: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 1:00 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ’s Erin McPike
Greeting voters after an event at a coffee shop in Washington, Iowa, this morning, Romney discussed the media with a voter and seemed to reveal his TV preference: FOX News.

"There are channels like FOX that give a different perspective," Romney told the older woman.

The woman had asked what can be done to stop the media from attacking the president, and the FOX line was part of the answer. He suggested talk radio and Internet as other options, as he's done before when asked about alternatives to liberal media, but he expanded that answer to include FOX this morning.

Earlier in the morning during the event, a voter questioned Romney's "organization" for saying that Iowa's for picking corn, whereas New Hampshire's for picking the president.

Romney opened and closed his answer with the same line: "That's not my organization; that's the senator from New Hampshire."

That senator who made the quote was the Granite State's senior Sen. Judd Gregg, who endorsed Romney on the day he filed there, and the campaign spent several days touting the endorsement. He didn't mention Gregg's name once this morning in the answer.

Ah...as if we all didn't know the Rethuglican version of Pravda, FOX Noise, was their favorite.

Mitt Romney is a man with honor and integriy.  I believe that he is the best presidential candidate since Ronal Reagan.  Americans could once again be proud of our president if Romney were to be elected.
Liberal media?  Give me a break.
There are also outlets like Pravda that give a different prespective. At least Pravda admits their biases-Fox certainly doesn't.
Romney sure lives in a different world than I do-his own world.
Faux news, where everyone knows WMD were found in
Eye-Rack
Of course the Repuks favor the Faux news.  It is the only news that can make everything look like being met with roses, in their last throes, dead enders, unpatriotic, and the list goes on, and on and on. They change with the wind just as fast as that lip service that comes from that idiot Mit. The only news that comes from the Faux news is crap and you would have to be a real moron to believe what they say, if you do I have land in the Pacific Ocean I will sell you, you just have to figure out how to get it above water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any thoughts I had of Romney being a better candidate for the Repugnicants is thrown out the window along with the "spin stops here zone", Rush "Drug Pusher" Limbaugh and anything related to FOX news.  The best advice Romney should take to heart and the spin he should pay attention to is that of his heart, conviction and the spin of his potential constituents both Repugnicants and Democrats..... NOT the FOX clowns and Bushie Mouthpieces!  As for me, I am still voting Democrat!
Romney's advice on the manipulative media...go to the extremely manipulative media...here is one nut head that better not become president....if we want to rid ourselves from all the lies and cheating of this presidency...
FOX NEWS-The right wing propaganda network. The women who called in to ask Romney the panderer how to stop the media from attacking the president....ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Yeah, lady who ever you are, it is called censorship you moron. I suggest you move to Pakistan, Burma, Cuba and/or Venezuela under Chavez.
Surprise...a chickenhawk who likes faux news ...boy we didn't see that one coming
The "liberal media" marched us off to Iraq without a second glance. The "liberal media" acted like it was paid by Bush for years. This is the most tired, disengenious outright lie the right wing still spews - like FOX spews "news."
Fox News: the American Al Jazeera.
Fox News is still better than Clinton News Network
for all those who believe in the dunce in chief, follow faux news.  Keep on believing that he did not drive drunk, dodged military service as a service member------which is punishable by courts-martial and carries a stiffer penalty during time of war------google UCMJ and find out for yourself------oops forgot you beleive in the faux news-----sorry about that.  Land still for sale in the Pacific ocean anyone
Romney began attending Brigham Young University, where he graduated as valedictorian, earning his B.A. summa cum laude in 1971. In 1975, Romney graduated from a joint JD/MBA program coordinated between Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He graduated cum laude from the law school and was named a Baker Scholar for graduating in the top five percent of his business school class.[13]

[edit] Yeah, some idiot huh.  Oh yeah, he also donated all of the money he made as Governor to charity.
People who don't watch the news at all have been shown to be more accurate in their perception of current events than Fox News viewers.  'Nuff said.

Fox is not news, it's right-wing views.
Are there not more ways to serve our country honorably than to serve in the armed forces?  We are an active duty AF family, my husband is a military doctor.
I truly do not see what right you have to criticize anyone for not choosing to wear the uniform. So we not have the freedom to choose? I guarantee the Romney family has given more, not just of their money, but more importantly, of their time to serve this country. We need men like that desperatly at the helm of this great but tattered nation.
The success within the walls of their own homes testifies to their devotion to family, commitment, honor, hard work. It take a great man, with a great woman at his side to acheive what they have.

Mitt is the best thing that could happen to this country,

yet you all cry
"crucify him!! Crucify him!"

he is another good man, falsely judged.
God bless American!
Say all you want about FoxNews, after all, this is America. However, I prefer to be on FoxNews’ side where they say our troops are good people, than to be on MSNBC’s side where they constantly say our troops are killers and occupiers.

Thank you Mr. “every conservative is the worst person of the world and every liberal is the best person of the word”  Keith Olbermann for making it easy to see who are the good guys. Go FoxNews!.
The "liberal media" here at MSNBC still haven't mentioned that a former WH spokesman has called  (no real shocker here) Bush and Cheney LIARS over Valerie Plame who, like it or not, was a covert agent fighting terrorism.
Symbols guide us all, words and images, Rupert and Roger guide the right, they breath the symbols of america but use them for their own purposes, scoundrels and snake oil salesmen. You can be informed and you can be led, but now we have awoken from a dream and are ready for change, take your information from everywhere but observe it with a jaundiced eye! The american turkey(Bens choice for  national bird symbol) burns in an overheated oven!
Bob from Denver:

You are so right on the mark, Fauxnews is a joke, they are the most controlling form of media out there.
TS from Ohio, how in the hell is Mitt a good man?  Hell he has flipped more times than anyone can count on any given issue!!!!! He also claims the same crap that the dunce in chief claims that the Dem party is not hard on secutiry (more divisive spewing talk)  If you want to keep this country divided in hate as it is vote for this idiot.  I for one wish this idiot would drop off the radar screen because he is more of the same as the dunce in chief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
""The woman had asked what can be done to stop the media from attacking the president,":  IMPEACHMENT "

For what???  You knuckleheads are all the same.  Forget about dipping your consciousness into the actual realities of an actual legal preceeding--it's just what feels good.

I frankly have very little tolerance for that kind of mentality.  Address reality, or move on.  As for impeaching Bush, that would pretty much be a guarantee that the Republican nominee would clean the clock of a Democrat, anyway, especially given the complete lack of substance behind any such accusation.
More segments of Fox News brings on conservatives and liberals to duke it out.  That format is seen far less on the other news channels.  The conservatives I do see on those other stations are typically blathering idiots who couldn't win a high school debate contest.

Anyone who has researched how news is gathered knows that there is a cozy unethical link between the AP and the Arab Gulf States news gathering service has lead to distorted reporting on Israel.   Here's the link tp://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=22055_LGF_Exclusive-_How_Much_Does_It_Cost_to_Buy_Global_TV_News&only

If our media can slant the international news I am certain they can slant the US media coverage.  An overwhelming percentage of both college professors and journalists are liberal--over 75%.  Believe it or not, they get their way in the editing room and the writing room.  Back in the days of Lincoln, he sent hooligans and Federal Marshals to destroy those newspapers who were southern sympathizers because newspapers supported and were supported by different political parties. I fear we have moved back to the days of Lincoln. Fox has a conservative slant but hardly counterbalances the  liberal slants on CNN, MSNBC etc.
Terry, I can feel your love. Is this the kind of love what will bring ultimate peace?
See, I believe it starts within our own hearts, then within the walls of our own homes, to our neighbor and out from there to make lasting change. If peace is not in the heart, than it is not in the family, if not in the family it's superficial with the neighbor and superficial never overflows.
This is why Mitt and his family gives so many hope for the future. We need change and If you think he is like our current pres, you have not been paying  attention to him.
Best wishes my friend, thanks for your service.
Is Des Moines full of morons? Seems that way. Must be a law or something.
I used ta like Fox news, but the Giuliani bias has irritated me since ROMNEY is my choice.  Not just 'cause of his superior intelligence and fiscal restraint, but because he is beating the liberal media so far just by being too clean for them to dig up any real dirt.  I mean, there's a website saying Hillary had what is it 54 people murdered, and MSM is talking about Romney putting his kids in the car and the dog on top for vacation?  HAW HAW!!!  I'll take his dirt anyday honeys
ts CRUCIFY HIM???    HE'S ANTI-CHRIST!!!
some folks must have really low expectations for being "good."

Romney is paying $85,000.00 a day for people to say nice things about him.
