Barbra Streisand backs Hillary

Obama has Oprah. And now Hillary has ... Barbra Streisand. The Clinton campaign just announced that the famous singer and star of Funny Girl, Prince of Tides, and Meet the Fockers has endorsed the New York senator.

"Hillary is a powerful voice for change as we find our country at an important crossroads," Streisand said in a statement. "Under her leadership, our country will regain its respect within the global community. She will prioritize issues of global climate change, universal health care and rebuilding a strong economy. After eight long years, the public will once again have faith in their government."

In other words, we guess, "the way we were..."

other than being famous for being an outstanding vocal performer, what does it matter to anyone who Ms. Streisand prefers for president? She is a singer, with no political experience. Does Gworge Bush's preference for favorite singer carry any weight?

Remember all the W.H. garbage during Clintons' years? Bill's habitual infidelities, Hillary enabling him, their lies, the scandals, and the 'revolving door' to the Lincoln Bedroom for their celebrity friends - - like Ms. Streisand? Oh. my. word.

America deserves a better person than Hillary Clinton for president. She hasn't earned the job, doesn't tell the truth, wasn't good for America back then, and won't bring POSITIVE CHANGE to America now or the future.

Barack Obama brings hope to America, right now. He's genuine. He'll tell us the truth. He'll bring respectability back to the Oval Office. With him as president, America will get back on track and regain her former worldwide respect. America needs Barack Obama now and in '08!

I am waiting for the celebrity animal endorsments, who are Mr. Ed (the talking horse) and Lassie supporting? I think it is improtant to see who the famous animals are backing because I know they are more interested in environmetal issues. After that I will watch and see who is supported by the celebrity catoon animals like Tony the Tiger will support!

I have to say, I can't stand Barbara Streisand. But, that won't influence my vote. People should vote based on critical thinking, and information, not what celebrities they like. Damn, we are a bunch of stupid fools if we can't think for ourselves, and need Oprah to tell us what to do.

Oh yeah! I feel so much better now! Thanks Babs! As if it wasn't proven she's an idiot before, this sews it up for sure. I really want four more years of raised taxes, sex scandals, and the government running my health care plan. If you think private insurance companies are crooks...oh just you wait people. At least the Canadians will stop coming here for better health care. Part of the border problem solved anyway.

For those of you that say Barbra is no Oprah, you are right. She had given more of herself to the people than Oprah ever has, she is 1 million times more talented then Oprah is, and she truly cares about the future of America and the World. When a Jewish woman is as strong as Barbra is, they are always put down by the people who really do not know much about anything. Barbra endorsing Clinton is a real plus for the Clinton camp. Look at Barbra's sold out concert tours and the hundred of millions in record sales, this show scores of people follow Barbra's every move and even those of you who do not like here, you are sure quick to the jump to let others know you do not like her, I wonder why????? Think about it for a minute, those of you will know. Thank you Barbra for having the courage to stand up for America, you can live quietly in luxury the rest of your life, but you choose to help. Barbra Streisand is perhaps amongst the Smartest females in entertainment, a tycoon in Hollywood today and a successful businesswoman! Hilary is the best candidate for president. As simple as that. Barbra Streisand's fanbase has been proven now for decades - once again topping the forbes list as most financially successful! If that doesn't state popularity then I don't know what does. I love Barbra Streisand and her politics!!! Just gorgeous! She reaches so many people!
Hilary stands the best chance with Barbra Streisand on her side.
