Huckabee's Romney jab

Posted: Wednesday, December 12, 2007 3:19 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ's Erin McPike
Huckabee took a huge jab at Romney in his video. The entire video was a reaction to Romney's speech on faith, in which Romney said he wouldn't allow his faith to inform his presidential decisions and said taking the oath of office would be his "highest promise to God."

Hucks true color, as an antagonist, is starting to show through.
Huckabee has been saying almost exactly what he said in that video for almost the entire time he's been in the race.  While it might be applicable to Romney's speech, it was not a "reaction"
nah nah nah my religion is better than your religion
If Huckabee wants to play his religion cards against Mitt, he better have more ammo than that.
What Romney essentially said in his speech was that his faith (read: Church) wouldn't inform his presidential decisions.  Apparently that doesn't hold true for Huckabee though.  So, by taking this jab at Romney, what part of separation of church and state don't you get Huckabee?

Any intelligent person sees right through Huckabee...what a phoney!
I guess most of the people who still support Bush are the ones polling strongly for Huckabee?

Anyone... anyone?
To the Huckabee fans who posted all over the place yesterday about how awful Romney is for doing a negative ad against him, what do you say about this?

It looks to me like Huck's "High Road" is at pretty much the same altitude as any other politician.
Most of the time I meet people that profess their faith do so to stiffle the free flow of the discussion,
"Well I'm a Christian so your argument is irrelevant", they assume that because I didn't use that ploy that I am not a 'person with faith', that is why they get no support from me, they are not interested in discussing issues, they already know all 'THE TRUTH'. Fossils of faith do not prove anything, just shows how close minded you are. Genesis was not written by christians, there was no such belief system then. In fact much of the stories in genesis were borrowed from other belief systems of the time, Babylonian anyone? One old friend who was 'reborn' told me I was just a 'baby christian' because I haven't done the same things she did, it showed me that these people were patting themselves on the back for their choice. Pride anyone?
