From NBC’s Bethany Thomas
JAMES ISLAND, S.C. -- One man stood up at a legion post town hall here and reminded the group that McCain had incredible singing talents. The crowd laughed until the man continued and reminded the crowd of his previous song, "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. He then asked what the senator will do with Iran in light of the NIE report.

McCain’s response: "No thanks for reminding me, you jerk. [Laughter]. I don't know where the intelligence came from. But, if you are enriching the material then it doesn't take long to make a nuclear weapon. Second, I don't detect a change in Iranians behavior…they still pose a threat to our country."

How can a country Like Iran be any threat to US.  Maybe McCain is talking about Zionists.

Mccain is very good at calling his audience names.Who needs a president like him?I swear senility has set in.He needs to take a class in how to make friends and influence people.Instead he calls people jerks and stupid. He should have used these names on Bush when he was being called crazy.
Heh heh!  That McCain!  He wants to bomb Iran!  Heh heh!
HI DEAR
THIS IS 24 BOY FROM IRAN .THAT MAN S' SPEECH IS ONLY JOKE FOR OUR PEOPLE AND ME!
we love all the people  live in world even USA S' PEOPLE.
I HOPE YOU CAN FIND IT DIRECTLY .
I wonder how funny McCain would have found it if the leader of Iran were to sing "Bomb, the USA" (in the key of the Bruce Springsteen song "Born in the USA"?

Geez, what up with these guys always trying to show how tough they are?  Next thing you know they'll be pulling out their rulers and unzipping their pants.
Go McCain!  It is always best to be on offense as opposed to telling civilians you failed to protect them!
McCain who? Oh... the "Bo... Bo...." guy! Is he still hopeful to be somehing in this country?
Hi Amin from Iran,  Say we love all of you too.  McCain has a screw loose.  Anna
So Japan, Australia and few other countries also have nuclear plant that enrish uranium. That means they can build bombs anytime too. Why I should believe them that they won't make bomb?.
There are a lot of screw loose candidates. It is quite amazing.  There was a time when presidential candidates were the best America had to offer. I think a random lottery could more sane and less bloodthirsty candidates.
The way American politician think, everything is a threat to America if they don't support Zion’s interest. Basically Zion’s spin the politician and the policy, other wise no body can be a politician in charge.
1979: Iran, Nicauraga, Afghanistan.
Thank you Jimmy Carter, not.
Hi, I'm a reporter/news translater from Iran. I have no idea what's wrong with this guy, but he's seriously getting on my nerves. I have a question for him: "Mr MaCain, do you TRY to be a pig or does it come naturally???"
You know, my people have had enough of your presiden't aggressiveness, we could do without a "mere" candidate's. Give us a break, por favor!
McCain statements remind me a saying that some politians are really idiots governing quality people. It is a shame that intellectuals and those who have brain are being distanced from ruling and people of low values have taken their place.  Because often the world follows US pattern (at least so far), it would be a real cjhange for the world if a professor, someone who has a PhD or another kind of intelectual is selected for the presidency of US. I personally do not like to see US going down.  But it seems the way politians are selected (?) paves the way for other countries in the world to lead. Is it a fate that US politics is becoming less clever and influential? Or is that the people who choose their preseidents care less about the image of their country.  Would like to write more if readers show interest.
Having the peaceful nuclear energy hence having the knowledge of building the bomb takes away the importance of possession and helps the destruction of such weapons
Believe it or not, most of the presidential candidates just like McCain, have no interest to became the US president and they are not even showing that they deserve it.
Apparently, they should debate on the most important issues and show that the competition is realistically conducted, attracting the attention of people with concentrating  on external problems. Certainly, they will pay off at the end for giving the wrong address to Americans' point of view...
An American presidential hopeful wants to bomb Iran, because it has enrichment plants; the Bush admin wants to punish Iran for having nuclear knowledge let alone enrichment plants; the Taleban want to kill Iranians because Iranians let women attend schools and universities; Asama Bin Laden and Zionists want Iran attacked because they perceive it as a threat to the their ideological existence; the Chinese are punishing Iranian banks and want more UN sanctions  because they want more oil concessions; the Russians want Iran attacked so that they can sell their oil and gas at higher prices; the Iranian regime's special political and business interest groups want a state of perpetually nurtured domestic and external crisis in Iran, to avoid stability and reform; to put a lid on their on their ongoing rags to riches schemes and to avoid accountability for the hardships that the ordinary people of Iran are having to put up with due to their mismanagement. So just what should an American presidential hopeful sing, to get American voters to vote for her / him.
It seems to me that Mr.Mccain should refrain from calling those he wishes to represent names and demonising a nation that now have the mullahs to worry about as well as an potential American president with an apparent lack of respect and obviously no acknowledgement that he was wrong in his own attempt at singing with reference to Iran.
Be, go back and read your history books, preferably starting before 1898.
McCain needs to grow his arms and legs into his shriveled up little lizard body. He is the Manchurian candidate. I wonder how many Viet Cong he fellated?
Last week Libia got the go-ahead to build a Nuke plant--by France-if they buy Military jets in the $billions of Eyros. Hello Bush--are you going to Bomb Bomb France ?
Mc Cain - a big jerk !
Only one thing Americans need to remember to get htis country back on track:

Dr. Ron Paul for President in 2008. He's something COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT in American politics: honest, consistent, principled and takes his oath to defend the Constitution seriously.
Hi Amin,

We love you too.  Both our leaders have screws loose you know that right?
Can someone tell these politicians that we have other problems in our country?  how about health care?  how about education?  how about our streets and highways?  how about our budget deficit?  how about our screwed up income tax system?  how about our broken social security fund?  how about our illegal immigeration problem?  how about the influence of insurance companies and oil companies?  IF WE only solve the palestinian and Israeli problem, then the rest of the moslem world will not hate us, rather look at us as the fair and balanced mediator, not agitator and war mongers that we have become.  I love my country but dislike the politicians that have ruined it.
You people crack me up. McCain makes a little joke with a questioner, and it's taken completely out of context. The whole "bomb Iran" episode is one thing, he shouldn't have gone there. But the jerk-calling thing is something he does all the time, and if you saw the incident, you would have been laughing with the rest of the crowd (and the questioner, I might add). And as far as Iran goes, their leadership has been quoted as talking about the obliteration of Israel, and linked to funding terrorist organizations. So we should just start taking them at their word now? Wow, glad you people aren't running for president, this country would end up a pile of cinders.
With the Government and the citizens spending like money is free and running up huge debts, where will this country go when most countries realize all we have is paper Dollar? The plunging Dollar is telling you something, if you still don't get it. Frankly I feel this country is doomed.
What would you expect from another puppet of AIPAC and "the Lobby"?Wouldn't it be great to have a leader in this country look out for AMERICA FIRST instead of being bought off for the sake of Zionist Israel? And wouldn't it be great if we had a informed population instead of sheep???
Chad, All the Iranians said was that the Zionist regime should be wiped from the page of history.  This means they seek an end to a corrupt, racist, and brutal regime.  Kind of like our desire to get rid of Saddam.  Our desire to wipe out his regime did not mean we wanted to commit genocide against Iraqis. But I could be wrong, maybe we do want to commit genocide
it's 2007! soon to be 2008! it clear that we are not there yet. can someone stand up and tell me? when? in what era in, what century, in what year we will stop "bombing" each other?  I would love to know when we will do things differently than we did two or three thousand years ago? when will we say: we are human, we are smart, we can think, we went to the MOON! wow! but we still bomb each other! will the time ever come that school children would read in their history books: on this era, on this date, men stopped all wars and started talking and working together to make all our lives better? Will that time ever come?  Will that time ever come when our elected officials don't have act or be tough to be popular? When will we stop bombing? What year, what century, that will come? When?
Mr.McCain, the ordinary people of Iran, have only one thing to sing to you: "I will survive;  oh yes I will survive...I've got all my life to live..da..da.da.di da"
And you know what Mr. McCain, they are not joking!
