Clinton ad highlights bipartisanship

Clinton turns her focus back on health care in a new ad in New Hampshire. The 30-second spot "Guard" highlights Clinton's experience and her efforts to work across the aisle.

With brassy presidential music in the background, Clinton discusses her work to get health care coverage for National Guard and Reserve members. That this is running in New Hampshire shows this may be an appeal to Independents and tries to dissuade the stereotypes and caricatures of Hillary Clinton of the 1990s.

“So I reached across the aisle and worked for three years with Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican, to change that," Clinton says. "Now every member of the Guard and Reserve has access to the health coverage they need. I've learned if you want to get things done, you have to know when to stand your ground, and when to find common ground."

Bipartisanship is something we could use a lot more of it has been rare since Newt came in with his contract on America. When we have a congress which delights in gridlock and a president who won't talk to any country that doesn't like us. We need Hillary Clinton's leadership.
Great ad - great candidate.

I wish Clinton supporters would learn how to spell Clinton family first names.
Didn't she say earlier in the campaign that she should be elected because she will give the 'publicans a beat down.

I guess putting them in a headlock or sleeper hold until they gave in is how she'll work across the aisle.

I pray daily that Hellary will NOT be the next Pres.
She said she was the one that would go to washington and know how to fight the republicans. now she is trying to pretend she is a change agent. she is trying to use biden, richardson and obama's words. she has shifted throughout the entire campaign. remaking her image. now she is trying to say her campaign is on the uptick when it is edwards that is on the uptick.

You're wrong, of course and willfully misinterpret the difference between touting one's ability to get elected and one's strategy for governance.
Fighting the republican attack machine and standing up to their (and now your) smears is something that Hillary HAS done for 15 years. Promoting a centrist agenda and reaching across the aisle to do so has been Hillary's philosophy since her election in 2000, and demonstrably so. To imply otherwise is to deny the facts, which are readily available.
Please use the links I post daily to examine things like bills passed (thomas.com) voting records, liberal/conservative ratings (nationaljournal.com)and other pertinent information that would allow you to check you contentions against the facts.

It is one thing to be opinionated, and another entirely to put forth a CONSIDERED opinion that is buttressed by factual information. If you say that senator Clinton has, "shifted", on issues, it should be simple enough to produce some evidence of this.

I would have to believe that there has never been a candidate for any office in world history who hasn't said that their campaign was on the rise, and despite your allusion to omnipotence, whose campaign REALLY is on the upswing is unclear to even the most savvy political pundits. Your contentions are more evidence of your own  misunderstanding and bias than a considered independent opinion.

Memo to Obama supporters: Please get ready for the media to begin to scrutinize your man and turn on him. It is coming, trust me. The media can take away what it has given very fast. Face it, Obama has gotten a FREE PASS from the media and political pundits. It won't last and it won't be pretty when it ends. It's coming very soon. Trust me. Soon the media will begin to reprt that Obama doesn't have much of a record after all. That he misses 80% of his senate votes. That he votes "present" many times to avoid casting a decisive vote. That he didn't even cast a vote in the Iranian guard vote, but yet is critical of Clinton for her vote decalring that the guard is a terrorist organization. Yes very soon, the media will begin to fuel the fire that will be the Oprah backlash. Soon the media will report that Obama plays loose with the facts in NH about his own healthcare plan and misrepresents Hillary's plan. Yes soon things will balance out because they always do.
....and when her skills are threatened or questioned the Clinton's make stuff up! George Bush senior has reputiated the Clinton claim that he would be an envoy for Hillary (see CNN ticker)

Travis, Louisville, Ky., you're right about the Gore thing.  You should have STAYED over there Gore instead of pulling one of your Jane Fonda moments.  America isn't perfect, but don't air our dirty laundry on foreign soil and think you're "one of us."  Typical elitist shill.
So her turn up the heat on the Republicans message at Iowa's JJ dinner has turned into lets hold hands and sing kumbaya.  There are so many Hillary faces spinning, it reminds me of the little girl in the exorcist.
To all of those blind Hillary supporters and campaign workers that keep posting her website I have one from all of us who will not be zombies for her cause stophillary.com
