Praying at Huck HQ

From NBC's Kelly O'Donnell
In an unusual expression of faith at a political party headquarters, supporters are standing in circles, holding hands and offering prayers in the middle of the Huckabee ballroom. They appear to be families with adults and children standing together.  This is happening amid the piped in rock music, media standups and giant screen coverage.

We are shooting tape. Lots of still cameras buzzing around the group too.

We'll find out who they are when they're finished praying.

I'm praying with them and I hope that all other Christians that read this post will do the same.
Aren't you tired living in a fantasy world, supporting wars and brainless politicians? Get real! Enough of those narrowminded, ignorant Jesus freaks!
Wow- what a bunch of freaks
Well this Country was founded on in God We Trust so it is nice to see someone Praying who is running for office.
Are you sure all christians will be praying for the same thing April?
I am Glad that they are Praying anyone who Plans to lead the USA Needs Gods Help.
If More People where Praying for America we would be in a better World. Has anyone else stop to think that since we took Prayer out of schools there has been more violence?
I'm a dispensational fundamentalist and conservative to the right of any Evangelical, so I think I have room to say this: Once again, the Evangelical crowd makes me sick, the lot of them. Results still coming in but it looks like they're going to put Huck over the top simply because he's a Christian - never mind that his policies are antithetical to much of what they claim to believe. Stupid and sad...all the more so since I thought they'd have learned after their 2nd burning at the hands of "not as conservative as he said he was, is he?" President Bush. SHAME ON THEM ALL.
Southerners also pray before football games. It's just their custom, doesn't mean anything.
It's not a crime to pray, but this, as well as the "negative ad" that aired MAYBE 3 times: will probably be spun way out of proportion as some will try to make controversy where there is none.  There are many different angles to this vote.  Perhaps (for me) the biggest is the fact that Gov. Romney spent so much money and did not win.  This is a sign of hope for Sen. McCain and Mayor Giuliani ... and of course potential national momentum for Gov. Huckabee.
DL, I couldn't agree more.
it's sad when headlines are made when someone prays.  Has it become so rare?
I'm a Southern Baptist just like Huck.  I pray he doesn't go any further in this campaign.  I am afraid my evangelical brothers and sisters are voting for him because he is a paster and a Christian.  They need to realize that he will not be voting on Southern Baptist Doctrine, rather political policy and we need a real Conservative for that.
PRAYER WORKS AND BEING A DECENT PERSON DOES TOO, LETS MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO KILL A BABY, LEGAL TO PRAY IN SCHOOL, AND ILLEGAL TO RUN DOWN OUR TROOPS IN A TIME OF WAR.  LET THE ANTI CHRIST, BABY KILLERS, AND MILITARY HATERS GO TO MEXICO OR CANADA, JUST LEAVE AMERICA ALONE
