It would have been an honor to vote for Joe Biden.  It is unfortunate he was neglected by the media.  He was the best Democratic option.
As much as I was rooting for Joe, his losing is hardly a blow to the Democratic party. Obama and Clinton are very,  VERY capable of winning in November. Edwards is far too confrontational with his current platform, plus he's weak in many states. Edwards will drop out by SC and he'll endorse whoever is the front-runner at that point.

I was with Biden, but with him out I'm fine with shifting towards Obama, who's always been my 2nd candidate.

Regardless, the GOP's only hope in 08 is Giuliani, and he probably won't even be the nominee. Every other candidate is even more polarizing than Hillary and too far to the right. Huckabee is Pat Robertson in sheeps clothing. Romney is a bigger flipflopper than Kerry, and McCain is too old.
I am heartbroken. We just lost the one man who had any chance of helping this country & all of us in it. None of the remaining can walk in that office & start where they must,to pull us out of the hell that is coming. Joe Biden, I am so sorry. I wish there was more we could have done sooner to help. I said if the media shoved those top 3 down our throats I would be changing my voting status to Independent & that I will now do.
I wonder if Canada will accept a middle aged American woman who isn't looking forward to another 4+ years of absolute crap & still no medical care because you aren't changing anything if you don't get past the club members door. Has everyone lost their minds & forgotten how DC works? Joe was our best bet for change.Oh well, post the telling me to go & the other negative things,I still want to press the "enter" key.
Thanks for a great campaign Senator Biden. Media coverage was poor outside the top three and the contest was the worse for it. They talk about experience? Iowans have overlooked the most experienced candidate of either party - a huge missed opportunity for America.

Biden , being nothing more than a Washington self serving paper hanger!!

Endless years of oppressed dialogue, a wage never earned, never voting unless favors returned.

A waste of public money!

Take out the dog and throw out the trash!!!!

Good job Iowa. We the people thank you!!!
Don't go Joe. We independents need a leader, and you should be that man, because the role of independents is to unify the country and that is your talent. Think again! Collectively, independents can have more leverage than either party, and you can make it happen!
It sickens me that the media has once again done a disservice to this nation. It helped Bush get elected in 2004 and now effectively removed both Biden and Dodd. For the last few weeks, every time I turned on a news show, the top 3 Dem. contenders were being discussed - as if the others were already dead. How do we stop this media madness? As well as the way the caucuses are run?
Once again, Well said Kato.

We just lost the most experienced and best qualified candidate.
Biden will be sorely missed. Iowa should be ashamed of itself, it is a DISGRACE to the nation.
I'm sad Joe is out.  He was the only one who seemed truly passionate about what everyone else preached.  Obama is particularly preachy, and while I used to like him, I am starting to dread his success more and more.  He talks a good game, but what happens when he has to DO something? In IL, all we've seem him do is NOT take a stand.  He gets crowds going, and they leave loving him and not knowing why - other than that now, its popular to like Obama.  When he has to play with the big boys around the world, a sermon isn't going to change anything.

I am still uncertain, but I think my vote is going to Clinton.  She has been given the hardest time, and republicans will have a hard time finding something new on her.  Her senate record is superb, and also human.  she has not flipped on anything she has done, she confronts her mistakes and takes respsonsibility - but MOVES ON to what is relevant.  the future.

if we can't have joe, she may have my vote. Edwards has gotten quite arrogant and nasty since last time around.
It is interesting to me that Biden recieved alot more complimentary blogs than Dodd did when he dropped out, althought thier percentages were about the same..Biden always knew that he didn't have a snowballs chance in **** of winning Iowa...I am also one of those that hopes he shows up in an upper administrative position with the new Democratic regiem, but the guy is really in the catbird seat in my opinion...anyone that is fairly informed loves him, but he can still do a tremendous amount of good in the senate...just as he has been doing, if that is where he chooses to stay.  I would have loved the opportunity to vote for him, and honestly felt he was the most electable, but Obama surprised me in Iowa, and I am sure others..I have always felt that taking this away from the Repukes is my main goal, and have tried not to get into the name calling some of the more passionate bloggers have, but NOTHING could be worse than the last seven years...NOTHING.
Bring him back!  We need Joe desperately!!!
By the way - you can still vote for Joe if his name is on your state's primary ballot, or you can write him in.  That's what I'm going to do.  No way can I bring myself to vote for one of the media-selected candidates, especially not Obama, with his tactics of packing the caucuses with out-of-state students. If Joe gets even a few delegates, it will send a message.  And he should NOT consent to be anyone's VP.
Way to go Iowa. Every election you leave me with rubbish. You have single-handedly left us with two one term senators, and a term and a half senator. Why even caucus, just give the hawkeye go ahead to the campaign with the most money. How any of those three match up with Biden or Dodd is a cruel joke. I did not bring up Gov. Richardson because I believe that New Hampshire should finish him. I will mosy likely support the eventual nominee just for the fact that my family cannot afford another 4 years of a republican administrations NLRB, and court appointments, but it will be under a lesser of 2 evils scenario. First Dick Gephardt, now Joe Biden. Thanx for Nothing Iowa...
WOW, what a shame. Joe Biden was also my favorite candidate. He was the smartest, most articulate and most MATURE democratic candidate ... I hope the dems can pull it together.
