Whoohooo! Go Obama!
They got that right - this will add to his mojo. GO BARACK!!!
Woo-hoo!!!
Go Obama!
Hillary let her guard down tonite and showed her true colors, maybe it is her exhaustion, but it was not a pretty picture. She will plummet even further after this.
As a teen, I am telling you not to rely on Facebook.  The majority of American youth are supporting candidates because of their so-called celebrity status and their appearances on MTV.  I wish more youths were engaged and informed, but that isn't the case.  They see a poll and vote in it, but I highly doubt even half of the respondents watched tonight's debate
I was most inspired by John Edwards for has deep devotion of taking on the special interest groups and lobbists that are raping the American middle class. To me when the cause is personal you do care more and you definately will fight even harder. Good job, John Edwards
Chuck,
I don't think so.  Hillary won this debate.  Obama came off looking like an VERY inexperienced KID.  And he made some really silly gestures with his hands, too....  He just looked wierd...  When Obama and Edward played tummy sticks to beat up on Hillary, she put them straight....  Hillary won this.... Who paid you to say otherwise?
Isn't this the same group that said Ron Paul won on the Repub side? Obviously, this is Obama's target audience.
my only comment, can't MSNBC get someone better than this guy to write their stories

I like hillary but her time is past
Change we can count on and believe in! Go Obama!
Bush - Clinton - Bush - Clinton?
Bush - Clinton - Bush - Obama!!!!!!!!

Which is REAL CHANGE?
GO OBAMA
I'm old enough to remember how America felt when JFK was president.  He inspired us to reach for the moon and our own dreams.  The nation answered his call.  We put a man on the moon from scratch, we sent record numbers of us to college, to do good works both here and abroad for our fellow man and mankind.  You could do anything.

Barack Obama is the first politician since JFK's brother Bobby was gunned down that has given me hope that we can return to be a people who care about each other and work together to do great things.  Only an inspirational wise, thoughtful, likeable, and passionate public servent can achieve great things.  That great man is Barack Obama.

His name means 'blessed'.  If we elect him we will count our blessings.
Edwards said that one his first day in the White House he would get rid of the lobbyists and special interest. That is a plan to begin the change that is needed!
Despite the fact Barrack and John were teaming up on Hilary, she handled herself well.  Although she should have lowered her tone I agreed with what she said said; change means nothing without a a plan of action and track record of results.
Are you kidding? Obama was by far the weakest of the top three. The race for appearing Presidential was clearly between Edwards and Clinton. Obama was by far the weakest and the most watery on his stances and convictions. Just goes to show that empty rhetoric can only take you so far.
I honestly felt like Hillary's negative attacks on Obama looked un-presidential, and frankly, blew up on her.  I almost felt personally bad for her when she became so shrill.  I hope that Obama or another candidate that doesn't go for her relentlessly negative (planting of negatives with the press, attacks through surrogates, mischaracterizations of opponents) style of campaigning wins.  I don't think these types of campaigns are good for or country, whether it is Mitt Romney or Hillary Clinton engaged in it.

Independent who's definitely voting Democratic (or maybe McCain) from Connecticut
You know I think is going on?  I think Obama supporters are taking the polls and skewing them.  I'm from New Hampshire and we learned that he had shipped tons of young people here to New Hampshire to follow him around.  We're not that dumb here in New Hampshire.....  Maybe you guys out there are....
probably, if the older generation were part of face book, the stats would not be as skewed. as usual, she was the most knowledgeable of the bunch during tonight's debate. but, you wouldn't expect first read to say anything about that...seeing as how theyre for the O.
It is time to recognize that US is not an EMPIRE state...no more Bush!!! no more Clintons!!
It was quite obvious this evening that Obama and Edward's were playing as a tag team against Hillary, and she pretty much reduced them down to size.  she not only took them on but her record of change made them look like they needed to grow up some before taking on an expireanced born leader.
She makes all of us women feel proud. GO HILLARY

SHIRLEY
I am so tired of Hillary Clinton.  She is so cold and calculated that I don't feel as though I could vote for her in the general election!  I would be content sitting this one out just because I could not pull the lever for her!  She made the worst misjudgement possible,SHE VOTED FOR THAT AWFUL IRAQ WAR,JOHN EDWARDS TOO!  I will never forgive that!
Obama seems to academic and subdued.
Clinton seems to political and mad.
Edwards seems to have charisma and he shows that he really cares. He doesnt seem so political. I think he had what both canidates lack, but he continues to trail in polls.
I DON'T GET IT? It seems America is in love with whoever the media names their darling. First Clinton and now Obama. Maybe someday America will pull the blinders off and think for themselves.
I find two things interesting.
Edwards wants Clinton ousted. I think this points to two possible opportunities:
1. He thinks he could take on Obama and possibly get the nomination.
2. Obama/Edwards ticket.
It is interesting how Edwards took on Clinton, while Obama stays clean and just sits their like a rock. Has a deal been made?
Obama sat back while negative attacks flew past him
Hillary Clinton looked REALLY upset and was horrible divicive and bitter
HRC is going to suffer from her Howard Dean moment. She cracked under pressure and showed anger that was disconnected from her passion. Aside from that, she whined about not being the front runner any more, as though insisting the NH voters reinstate her on the pedestal. Playing the gender card won't work either...that was a mistake. And when is she going to fill in the hollow space that's there every time she talks about her 35 years of experience. Hillary is now, officially yesterday's news.
Like many of the candidates, Clinton has now cleverly stolen, inserted and captioned the campaign slogan and term "CHANGE" from Obama who authored it right-out-of the gate, to improve her voter penetration, however constantly makes arguments against the term, which makes her look uncredible, the greater flip-flopper and certainly NOT presidential.

Mr. Obama was very precise on various issues and he blew up the doubts Rep. and Cliton machine have manipulated.

In contrast, Hilary lost her temper in national TV and carelessly destoryed herself. I do admire her 35 years accomplishments though. Poor Clinton.
I agree, Clinton looked very angry, very rustled. If we are voting on temperament, for the person who would best be able to deal with difficult heads of state from other countries, tonight's debate definitely suggests Obama.
Woot Woot!!!Go Barack - he is inspiring a nation!!
facebook must be full of a different set of people than those who will vote.  polls from facebook before debate had obama at 60%, whereas the news poll had him at 27%. big difference--i'm not convinced that facebook's stat here makes a big diff at the polls.

edwards was great!  energy, focus...only wish they'd let him talk about his position on no more nuclear power plants.  obama is for more nuclear power.  let's see how that goes in NH.
Tonight Obama continued to show why he is the front runner for the Democratic nomination.  Out of all the presidential candidates, he seems most poised to bring the "US" back in the USA!
hillary looked awfly awfly petty . and I cleaned that up
Nice poll. 50% say Obama won the debate, yet he sat there like a stiff and gave his generalized, safe, stump speach. Wake up people!
It blows my mind how anyone could support Hillary or Barrack over John Edwards. Edwards is the only candidate who truly cares about the people(especially the middle class) and he is the only one that will bring the change needed to positively effect middle class families.
WAKE UP AMERICA, VOTE FOR EDWARDS!!!!
Woo-hoo!   Hillary is my choice.  She has a lot of experience plus she knows what change is. They go hand in hand. I feel that she is the only one running for president that can pull us out of this nightmare.
Man, I am becoming a total political junkie. I can't believe I watched all 4 hours of this thing. The Repugs were their typical loser selves. I think Fred Thompson's brain cycles at half the speed of a normal person.

Regarding the Dems: to be completely objective, Hillary always appears to do well in debates. Except for that angry moment where her eyes about popped out, I thought she was the strongest overall.

It seems that Obama made the decision not to engage her in an aggressive way but I do think he should have leveled her on a couple of occasions. I can't believe she actually used the likeability factor to compare him to Bush.

Plus, she keeps harping on all the changes she has been involved in for 35 years. He should have asked her what the hell were they because obviously they aren't exactly impacting anyone's immediate lives.

Finally, Obama missed an opening to really emphasize his completely amazing idea of government transparency compared to the Clinton's reputation for secrecy. In that regard, she's the one who is no different than Bush.

Just my thoughts but at least he didn't make any serious mistakes. Hopefully he's still going to pull this off in NH too!
Hillary looked presidential - the others, kinda small.
I'm so scared that we Dem's are gonna blow it again!
We win or lose with Hillary - no one else.
John Edwards is the man, yet he trails in the polls. To me, it shows how out of touch and uneducated Americans really are. They continue to vote for whoever the media tells them to. I bet the majority of people voting for Obama and Clinton didn't even watch the debates.
GO EDWARDS!!!!
USA need a leader with experience on what we are facing in todays world Hillary has that and more. We need conscious, intelligent changes, not just changes.
Hilary is the strongest one
GO get them OBAMA. Terrific job.

Obama 08
I thought hilary was the winner, than bill ricahrdson came out in second, with edwards in third and obama in last.

Hilary and bill had substance to their ideas and concepts of what needed to be changed while the other two tried to convey the message of change without making good points to support it.
Hillary was right on calling on Obama flip flopping! about time! Obama didn't have any real good answer for Hillary, he keeps talking about change and unite people and unite the country; but no specifics or real agenda. Hillary was right on linking his call of change with the one from Bush before "I'll he the uniter, not a divider." Edwards looked presidential, addressed the issues head on and sincere. I was leaning toward Obama before; but I'll vote for Edwards!
Edwards is the only democrat that could possibly, defeat mike huckabee.  If any other democrate wins the nomination, democrats loose.
cdg conway, arkansas
I agree with Bryce from Buffalo, NY. I think it's silly that MSNBC would rely on facebook for their statistics. Most of the people on facebook support Obama AND Ron Paul. That does not reflect all of the young people in the U.S. and it definitely does not reflect the general population. The media needs to stop going against Hillary as if she's already lost. Iowa is only one state and Obama seemed weak and inexperienced in this debate. We have a long way to go and Hillary can definitely beat Obama. Obama is all about hype and that will fade away eventually.
I believe Obama did fine with all the attacks that was levied at him.  Some people say he looked subdued but I think he was sick.  You could tell from his voice that he had a cold.  Hillary acted mean and cold.  What is the record that she keeps referring to and especially that of the Clinton administration, I thought she was the First Lady.  I don't recall her holding a cabinet post and she worked at a law firm in Arkansas before Bill got elected.  I grew tired of her language against the republicans and we need to get them.  No wonder nothing gets done.  We are americans.
The democratic debates were fascinating!!! Passion is a good thing and was displayed by all...but, Senator Clinton's responses showed that she  is a bright, informed and "pissed" by the idea that she is aything but the winner. Senator Obama's responses were calm, well articulated and non-defensive. Unlike Senator Clinton, he seems to realize that it would be an priveledge to be elected president, not an entitlement owed to anyone.
Mrs. Clinton is definetely a superior candidate to lead this country over all the candidates. We need to focus on the facts and the reality not on the magic super promises of changes. Obama is just another politician tryiing with his nice word to get votes
