Odd Fox News crawl issue

Posted: Sunday, January 06, 2008 8:50 PM by Chuck Todd

From NBC's Chuck Todd
What is with the biographic details on the Fox News crawl. Some of them are oddly critical. Giuliani, for instance, probably doesn't like the repetitiveness of the fact he's been married three times and has two kids with his second wife. That fact has crawled at least four times by our count.  Meanwhile, Fox News fails to point out that McCain is on his second marriage.  Ok, conspiracy theorists... theorize away!

Just wait and we'll all see and some be surprised, but Senator McCain is the guy.
Yeah, I caught that too.  Also note that all the bio facts about McCain are *very* careful to include a year, e.g. "McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 35 B.C."  Subtle much?
It's hard to tell with tabloid rags but I can't wait for the Chris Wallace interview with Batboy, I am sure that will explain much.
Did it mention Romney sucking up to the pharmaceutical industry in Saturday night's debate?  Talk about a man out of touch with the average American...
There is also reference to some candidates religious affiliation and not all. For example, McCain is noted as a "Christian" and Romney as a "Mormon."

What about Rudy, Thompson? (We all know where Huckabee stands on this. Former Baptist Minister)
Yes why is it that they have to keep repeating all the negative things about some of the candidates.  Religion, mistress, age, race, married??? Who cares?  This is a way to directing and awaying viewers on these negative things.  What is next?   Who has cancer?   Rudy has but so has John McCain.... who cares???
Repubs party is in deep denial on the viability of all its candidates.
These guys make Nixon look good.
