Huck's backfire?

Posted: Sunday, January 06, 2008 9:09 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ's Matthew E. Berger
Huckabee's attempt to stop Romney from asking questions may have backfired. He acknowledged that Romney was taking over the debate, but with Chris Wallace basically asking the question Romney had just posed, it looked like he was siding with Romney and Huckabee looked like the one tattling on the naughty child.

Are you kidding me?  That is so overthinking the situation it's incredible.
Republicans against Mitt Romney, when we have a flip flopper in the party we need him out please check out our site and see why many Republican voters do not trust Mitt.

Huckabee is a hypocrit.
Huck is a disaster.  It was a simple question, "What about the net $500 million increase in taxes?"  He just wouldn't answer.

Mitt was right.  "That's politics, Mike.  Answer the question."
Why should he have to answer the serious questions? He is running on religion and pretend moral superiority. Now you want him to do government stuff to? Don't over think this just ask your preacher who he wants you to vote for.
All Huckabee had to do was be truthful and answer the question that everyone already knew the answer to.  He didn't.  If that doesn't tell you something about the man nothing does.  No guts. He couldn't come up with a cute story to bail himself out with so he wound up looking like a fool.  Wallace hates politicians who don't answer questions and I have seen him ask the same question over and over again during interviews.  McCain, I thought, was going to punch him out one time after Wallace asked him a question 3 times and McCain decided to talk about something else.  Wallace finally gave up.  One more try would have pushed McCain into a a patented McCain maniacal frenzy and Wallace knows that studio news sets are expensive.  You don't treat a SENATOR that way.
dumb willie he did  he was forced to by the feds, because clinton left schools in horrible shape, he just didnt want rommney to ask it wasnt rommeney smart ass to be moderator. Its also evident fox backs gullani and wants huckabee to fail
IM SURE HUCKABEE WILL BE GLAD TO GET OUT OF ANTI CHRIST ATHESIST NEW HAMPSHIRE, RICH PEOPLE DONT ANSWER TO GOD, THATS WHY CLINTON WHO IS THE BIGGEST SINNER IN THE WORLD AND OBAMA WHOSE MINISTER IS A RADICAL MUSLIM  SUPPORTER ARE DOING WELL
I don't think Mitt can hang with Mcain or Huck.  I am not a big fan of any repubs, but we are going to have to chose the lesser of the evils.  Mitt is the greater of the evils and will be defeted in NH and SC.
Repubs are in trouble!!!!!!!!!!!
Huckabee looked like a Jr. Exec. trying to act as proficient and viable as the big boys.  It didn't work. Now that Huckabee is actually having to talk about the issues and not religion, his limited capacity in handling tough questions on important issues is shining through.  He's losing credibility by the minute.
Dave Anders could not be an actual Huck supporter. Someone that uneducated and narrow minded almost has to be someone fakeing stupid just to stir the pot. I would guess a democrat campaign worker who was told to sound rednecky and hypocritical. He cracks on Clinton, Romney and Obama and sure doesn't reflect well on Huckabee, so maybe an Edwards fan.
Romney is such a jerk. Who does he think he is, God? Oh, that's right.
All of the candidates, of both parties, need to begin giving us some of their plans on important issues. This campaign has turned into a high-school-personality-contest. Forget 'change' 'values.' Give us substance--candidates AND media.
