I understand that the requirement for president didn't specify, you had to republican, democrat, or independent. It has nothing to do with gender or race.  If this is truly a land of the free and home of the brave, then the process of selecting the president should be based on the will of the people.  Not who can raise the most money, or who can point out the most negative issues of their opponents, but rather who can carry out the will of the people as a uniter concerning domestic and foreign issues.

The site I checked out, @ republicansagainstromney, didn't have any lies. It gave true LDS information--allbeit, I think with more references to where they find these LDS truths, it would be more difficult for LDS religious bigots to accuse "Christians," who equal millions around the world, of 'all' being hypocritical. (while at the same time LDS try to claim to 'be' "Christians" by saying it is because the name "Jesus Christ" is in the name of their religion--like saying any Latino son named "Jesus" is the Christchild, or any male named "Christian" is a Christian). This is LDS "religious bigotry" "religious intolerance" and "Un-American."

Don't you just love it when the mormons get on these links and will say anything to make mitt romney the flip flopper look good, I live in Utah and believe me you hear on the news all the times of massive groups of mormons working for mitt romney what does that tell you when a candidate is solely supported my his religion and they will do or say anything to get him in.

I think it is awesome that McCain's mom, at her age, is young at heart, active and alert. My own family history shows longevity can be an inherited trait, if one doesn't get cancer from environmental factors (and that could happen to the youngest candidate). Go Mom go! Go McCain!

McCain's longevity is already proven, along with every other Nam-POW still living, simply by the fact they are still with us after such life-crushing torture--in McCain's case, for five years. The man is obviously spry, a quick thinker, in control of his faculties. How many presidents have gone on to live well past McCain's age after leaving office? McCain has dedicated his life, since age 17, to the service of our nation. McCain is a loyal, faithful servant--not a fly-by-night power-monger.

Right now, for a war time president, America needs McCain's 20 years of experience in national security, his experience in international politics, his experience getting things done in DC, his experience in the military--McCain KNOWS the military, he KNOWS the sacrifice every member of the military makes in service to his/her country. He KNOWS what it is like to have a father, grandfather, sons in the military. McCain is man enough to stand for what he believes (a larger military foot-print going into Iraq, Rumsfeld's failures as Defense Secretary, the need for more troops to help stop the daily slaughter of our military, the surge, the need for better VA services, better VA hospitals, the way pharmaceutical corporations are robbing us blind...), and he's brave enough to admit when he could do something better (secure the border first). McCain is right about the need to get with Dems, Indies and Repubs to come up with the best strategy to take care of the illegal immigrant problem. (Whoever is elected, if it is decided to try to send 12 million folks back across our borders, it will take some powerful incentives--then who's going to gut our hogs and bend over in our fields all day and clean the lousy mess most Americans feel obliged to leave behind in the hotel rooms? Americans have grown lazy with the help of immigrants).

McCain is just as able, and more experienced, more qualified, to face the mound of problems waiting on the desk for our next president. Right now, we need experience. Experience in Government. 'Change' is NOT always for the better. So I don't put too much confidence in those pushing 'change' to get elected right now. Also, being experienced does not mean someone will not bring about change. Having a new president, a new cabinet, etc. automatically means changes. McCain has already proven to want to change things for the better, today. And he has the proven experience to get changes accomplished, for the better, today. McCain is able and willing to work with other party members to get things done, today. Right now, America needs a man like McCain, for next president of the USA.

I have to say that IMO I could'nt agree more with it and found it to be extremely accurate with my views on the debate. I was actually a little disturbed at how vehemently the other candidates had gone out of their way to make such personal attacks at Romney and felt their childish remarks showed much more about their petty character as individuals then it did about Romney. They suggested that Romney had made "negative ads" even though the ads showed nothing more then the candidate's past decisions and actions in leadership positions. I found Romney to be correct when he claimed the ads were nothing more then "contrast ads" and believe there was nothing dishornable about them. It's foolish for americans to get so upset about such ads when all they do is clarify the candidates positions on important issues. It gets down to this, it'd be no different then if Huckabee or some other candidate made a ad complementing Romney then stating that he was pro-choice then became pro-life. It's only negative depending on how you look at it. But it's still a fact. I personally plan to vote based on facts, not insults and petty remarks. And as far as I can tell Romney has done the best job possible.
