Rudy set to lay out tax plan

Posted: Monday, January 07, 2008 11:39 AM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ's Matthew E. Berger
NASHUA, N.H. -- Giuliani said Monday outside Jackie's Diner here that he will lay out a comprehensive tax plan. Campaign officials said he will lay out the plan Wednesday while campaigning in Florida.

Giuliani had largely strayed from giving policy speeches on the campaign trail, but this would be his second policy outline in as many weeks. He called for a surge in Afghanistan and an expansion of the American military in New Hampshire last Wednesday.

The speech will be part of a recent effort by the campaign to garner media attention after falling in national polls and being out of the national Republican dialogue.

steve forbes with joe today thinks giuliani will be the nominee because of his fiscally conservative record. he thinks florida primary will decide who  the dems nominate.
An expansion of the military in New Hampshire? Those minutemen aren't going to like it...lmao

Go away Rudy, you had your 15 minutes of fame on 911...911...911...911...now go count your petrodollar millions and keep on selling your butt to the highest foreign bidder...ta ta rudy911
Just drop Rudy. You haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of winning the general. Just get out of our lives already.
Is this a rudy tax plan or something his campagine made up for him....Dont waste our time keep him in New York.
the rich will be licking their chops awaiting rudy's idea of a tax plan
An expansion of the American military in New Hampshire??? Why???? Are they out of control?

WHY IS RUDY WASTING HIS TIME, HIM O REILLY AND HANNTY ARE A THING OF THE PAST, NOT ONE SOUTHERNER WOULD VOTE FOR HIM   HUCK GETS ALL THE SOUTH, FLA , OHIO, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, INDIANA, AND TEXAS AND WESTERN STATES LIKE BUSH
Surely we don't need a larger military presence in New Hampshire!
I'm very confused--Giuliani advocates "an expansion of the American military in New Hampshire"? What IS the American military presence in New Hampshire--is there even a base? Could this strategy backfire in the "live free or die" state?
What? Now we're going to have a Military Expansion in New Hampshire? Is Osama Bin Laden there now? Holy Houlihan! Where's Homeland Security? Did Dubya know about this last Wednesday? Is Blackwater going to be there, too? Are they gonna start gunning down civilians at intersections in Laconia? Will people in Berlin start being 'Waterboarded'? What has happened to that State, that we don't know about? What will this do to Tourism?
Its pretty much a two man race John McCain or Mike Hucabee as Republicans we need to rally with these two men and choose one to be the next President of United States.
he wants to increase the military. he just happened to discuss this while campaigning in NH. Either way i find this dispicable. We do not need a bigger military we need a better foreign policy.

Giuliani hasn't laid out a tax plan over a year into this contest?!  Wow!  Kind've slow, huh Giuliani?  This'll probably help him nonetheless though.

I like Steve Forbes, but I find it very strange for him to say Florida will decide the democratic nomination, the DNC has stripped Florida of all its delegates because they moved the primary up to January 29th. So how does Florida decide anything for thte democrats?
An expansion of the military in NH? I didn't think Canada was such a threat and even if they were I bet Rhode Island could take them in a week or so.
You're reading it wrong you idiots....he called for the expansion (while) in NH....wow...I def feel better knowing that all you anti-rudy people do not even know how to pick up context clues...at the same time it scares me that you might actually vote.
Spare us Rudy, we already know what you are going to say.  9/11 9/11 and 9/11

Groundhog Day, or in Rudy's case, Ground Zero Day.
Has Giuliani come out in the open as a "supply sider?"  Has he been in support of a idea that doesn't work in the real world?  You would have hoped that all of the candidates would have a general semblence of a plan before they started running.  Just because you lower taxes doesn't mean it is a good thing.  I haven't heard him state that he is going to lower spending and what he would lower.  I don't think that any of these Republicans could lower spending enough to justify many of the tax cuts they are talking about.  How can they justify tax cuts in a time of conflict (it isn't really a war)?  How will we pay for it?  I'd like to reduce the amount we borrow from China.
we all talk bout change, people need a different face of president, i think hillery should wear a 25 dollar shirt, blue jeans , neat and clean massive image appearance, displaying her competance and new style instead of wearing like a graceful first lady. she is on campain now she is fighting now. so she should look like a fighter at least.
I guess none of you guys ever went to NY before Rudy became Mayor. He really straightened that city out and we need that same leadership to straighten out this country.
A strong physical conservative, strong on crime and ready to fight the war on terror.
--He has my vote.
