KEEP SPINNING MAYBE HILLIARY DIDNT WIN
Mormons are a Cult

Mormons believe Blacks are Cursed people they are the decedent of Cain.

Bringham Young stated the following: "For instance, the descendants of Cain cannot cast off their skin of blackness, at once, and immediately, although every soul of them should repent, obey the Gospel, and do right from this day forward. . . . Cain and his posterity must wear the mark, which God put upon them; and his white friends may wash the race of Cain with fuller’s soap every day, they cannot wash away God’s mark; The Lamanites, through transgression, became a loathsome, ignorant and filthy people, and were cursed with a skin of darkness … yet, they have the promise, if they will believe, and work righteousness, that not many generations shall pass away before they shall become a white and delightsome people; but it will take some time to accomplish this at best. Source: The Latter-Day Saints Millennial Star, vol. 14, p. 418

1848, Brigham Young, as President of the Mormon Church, first preached the "Curse of Cain Doctrine". He said that Negroes, whom he considered to be children of Cain (son of Adam and killer of Abel) had the "mark of Cain" (black skin and kinky hair and flat nose) and they could not hold the priesthood until Abel was resurrected, had children, and all of Abel's children were given the opportunity to receive the priesthood first, then the Curse of Cain would be taken off his posterity (Negroes) and they would have the priesthood like everybody else. Brigham Young started the "priesthood-ban" in 1848, banning all Negroes, and even white men with Negro ancestry, from the two orders of priesthood, and banning all Negroes from the House of the Lord (the Mormon Temple). Mormon Church leaders
Now you are probaly asking yourself well back in those day's everyone was a racist, the blacks where not able to hold the priesthood until 1968 and many LDS faithful still believe in the curse of cain.
Ok.. it's time you join the conversation..hillaryclinton.com , it's open to "all"
Wow, that delegate breakdown makes it go down just a little easier! :)

Obama '08
Soap opera women give Billary a victory. Pollsters sent independents to McCain.

If Obama can't overcome a 1% loss in NH then he wouldn't survive the repugs.
Remember we're open 24 hrs. for your convienence. hillaryclinton.com
So basically Obama gets the same number of delegates as Hillary...that is great...even better to get a reality check and come in a symbolic second to keep us fired up for the rest of the country.

Maybe Senator Obama should cry.

OBAMA '08
Hey Bill C. -
forgot to add - the conversation is not open to "all" at hillaryclinton.com.  What a hoot.  Ever tried to post a questioning comment on there?  Censorship there is worse than in the former Soviet Union.

Why not join the real conversation at www.barackobama.com - ALL comments posted in 4 seconds.  Now that is a real conversation.  That is the website of someone who is not afraid of the questions.
i have to say that the precoverage of the NH primary on nbc was swaying people from Clinton! They called it doomsday and  the last stand for Hillary. I guess they were WrOnG!!

WooHoo!  Go Hillary!
Big Victory made meaningless...

What do you make of Hillary Clinton wining New Hampshire and defying experts and the pundits who predicted a big loss for her?

http://www.youpolls.com/details.asp?pid=1479

.
I guess this is where to go for all liberal shrill
I'm excited that Hillary got her's today.  Don't get me wrong, I like Obama and favor Edwards.  I don't like the idea that 2 or 3 States get to decide who we will be voting for in November
Great job Hillary! Let's make it happen. Change with experience. Hope isn't enough along. Hope doesn't pay the bills. Our country needs an experienced leader who initiates constructive change.

HILLARY '08

Great race....may any of the Dems win!!! (Even Uncle Dennis and his UFO!!!)

Will the media "experts" ever learn--instead of trying to get the story first, they should try to get the story right.  I really wish the media would write and end to those polls, stop trying to tell us what we are going to do before we do it, and just let the voters get on with their business without trying to influence those voters' choices. From "inevitable nominees" to writing candidates off prematurely, they have been wrong! The people of America have been doing this since before TV and the Internet were even invented--they know what they are doing.  Perhaps the media needs to just be patient, tell us what each candidate is doing on a given day, and then back away and let the process take its course.

Nina - I was getting nervous that the obituaries for Clinton were a little premature. And as much as I was hoping for the polls to pan out, I was struck by the aggregate of only 8 points, and yet this overwhelming sense of it being a done deal. The only thing that had me believing was that it seemed the Clinton camp was looking at even worse internals.

Maybe there were, but I guess those were wrong, too.
Media is making it sound like a big loss for Obama. He still beat Edwards by double-digits and he's still a Black man running for President.  He's still making history. Go Obama.
Is John Edwards hurting Obama's chances? I think he is and If Edwards really believes in change should he pull out and endorse Obama?
How wrong you were. For the past three months you have hammered on Hillary. Shame on you. You had it wrong anf its all been your bias. You needs to start to report objectively. MSNBC,NBC and Newsweek, spend a lot of air and ink on despairing Hillary and look what it got you. I cancelled newsweek. It might only be one, but movements start from sometimes one incident. I am sorry to be so outraged by Chris matthrews and chuck Dood, but sometimes you have to tell it as it is. Matthews and Chuck has been so bias, it goes beyond the pale. The program over time will fade into the black hole and never been heard again.
As an Obama supporter I am completely flabbergasted at how every single public poll the 2 days before the primary could be so wrong. I feel completely let down by the media and the pundits. It absolutely disgusts me. Secondly, I don't know what New Hampshire Democrats can be thinking by giving Clinton the edge in New Hampshire. I have listened to more campaign speeches and read more research and opinion pieces on each candidate this election cycle than I ever have before, and I choose Obama because he embodies everything I've wished politics could be for the past 10 years. New Hampshire Democrats could have virtually united the party tonight and could have taken a step towards unifying our nation again, but instead chose the road of division and partisanship in Clinton. Y'know what? I'm not one of those idiots who say, "If Obama/Clinton/Edwards wins the nomination I'm voting Republican for the first time ever!!!1!" (what a stupid and childish thing to do, for surely one of the other two would accomplish more Democratic aims than any of the Republicans), but if Clinton gets the nomination I will vote none of the above. But above all that, Obama and what he represents and what all of his supporters represent from all across the political spectrum will continue the good fight on to South Carolina, on to Nevada, and to all the 50 states of our great nation. There is a wave and its going strong.
I guess Bill Clinton doesn't mind the New Hampshire primary coming so close after the Iowa caucuses now, huh? :)
In the last 3 days, Hillary have demonstrated that you are doer, not talker.  She listened to the people and answered their specific questions from her experience, knowledge and  her heart.  She connected to the voters in the rallies and  the small cafes.  She was strong and head on when the twosome were ganging up on her in the debate. She have beat the media and mean spirited bloggers such as many of you here!

It takes some tough women to clean up the mess men made! We are so proud of her!

I am so proud to be a woman tonight.

I urge many Obama's supporters here to clean up your act and show some class.
Amazing how the Clinton machine works. Check this out:

http://www.bradblog.com/?p=5530
Wow, this is a disappointing setback.  While I prefer Edwards, I could support Obama.  The two together would make a great ticket.  Hillary, though, simply depresses me: she represents everything that's wrong with the Democratic Party today.  Ugh.
vb, your comments about women and men hardly constitute "class".

Word out of New Hampshire is that the Clinton Campaign STAGED the "Iron my Shirt" heckling to rile up women voters. Clearly it worked. They will stoop to any level to put Hillary in office.

"Candidate with experience"?  Are you kidding me? What experience does she have? If years as a first lady count then how about Barbara Bush? She was wife of a vice-President for eight years then wife of a President for four more, then mother of a president for another eight. According to the Hillary logic, Barbara Bush has more experience than any candidate in the history of politics.

I repeat, I have heard from friends in NH that the "Iron My Shirt" heckling was staged by the Clinton campaign itself to anger the women vote. I can't substantiate this, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Victory??!!  Looks to me like they (Clinton/Obama) both won 9 delgates to the National Convention.  The popular vote, at this stage, is not relevant.  The candidates are running to gain delegates (1/2 +1) not the popular vote.

After NH, Obama still have more delegates (24 to 25) therefore he is still the front runner.

And an aside note regarding experience:

Hillary Clinton's experience is the same as any other of the First Ladies and is no more or less experienced than her rivals.  Being elected to the Senate from a state that you never lived in is merely a political ploy and is not a sign of any great level of political savy.

Art 1, Sec 1, Clause 5 of the Constituion doesn't require a long resume to be President, nor does it ask for previous experience.  Anyone can be President of the United States, it's one of the little things that makes this such a great place.
Well chuck, you and chris look like fools. For the past month or more all you have done is to dump on Hillary at every chance. It appears that your agenda is to elect a republican in the fall. You might have thought that you have fooled all of us (maybe a few), but you failed. Your program is not even worth watching. Just a waste of time.
Still Fired up! Ready to Go!
Obama '08
Great job Hillary! Why doesn't Hillary get more delegates since she won by 3%.
Is it true that there was a mailer sent out to women at the last minute saying that Barack Obama was anti-choice?

Thank you firstread and MSNBC(Tean Obama)for making it such a sweet victory for HRC and Team Clinton.

I wonder how you are going to explain the obituaries you written for HRC.

I am so thrilled NH voted for the best person, Hillary. She has the right attitude and experience to be Commander in Chief.

We need a serious debate on issues that affect this great nation and the world.

......lol YOU LEAVE HILLARY ALONE!!!!!
Love it, LOVE IT!!!!!!
the media sold us the iraq war and w!!!! this time, they tried to sell us Barack Hussein Obama! Well, nice try!
Go Hillary!
PS: and yes, obama supporters, it's time to show some class! after reading all of your comments, i'm shocked that democrats can be so nasty.

So I hear Obama and Edwards are hooking up against Hillary! HAHAHA! Its pretty sad when men have been running this country for hundreds of years yet have to team up in order to beat a woman in an election! Good luck with that!!

-Hillary '08
We want change, and Hillary Clinton is not the one to do it.

Obama/Edwards 08.
some people need to get out the race. Richardson. just like in the caucuses, that 15% rule. they couldnt vote for him, so throw it people would actually have a chance to win
I guess N.H. does want the same ol' same ol'.

They showed it by giving the Bush Lites, both parties, their votes.

This country is truly near the bottom of the hill and it has no legs to try to get out of the crevasse.
While I am happy that Hillary's win keeps the dialog going for awhile, I was disappointed that Obama didn't win, just by a little bit.  I am exhausted with the politics of republican retoric, secrecy, fear and pocket-stuffing and love listening to someone who can inspire me in a way that I have not been inspired since the Kennedy era.  It has been so nice to hear something so positive as to get our young people motivated and engaged.  I hope it lasts a long time.  Thanks, Obama!
"In the last 3 days, Hillary have demonstrated that you are doer, not talker.  She listened to the people and answered their specific questions from her experience, knowledge and  her heart."

----

If all she did was answer questions, that makes her a talker and not a doer.  She hasn't done anything in the last 3 days but campaign and talk.
One thing I would like to point out to Obama supporters.  Show some class.  Last night Obama did a great thing by asking the people to give Hillary a round of applause for her victory and barely anyone clapped.  Contrast that with Hillary giving praise to Obama and the rest of the Democrats and the whole place cheered.  There is something to be said about how you handle defeat and how you handle winning.  Many of you young Obama supporters are just down right mean spirited and forget to realize all of the Democratic candidates have done good things and they are not the bad people the pundits have made them out to be.  I look at the Obama fan who refuse to shake Hillary's hand yesterday in NH.  To me that's just being young and stupid.  You can't treat this as a game.  This isn't the Red Sox vs. Yankees.  This is your country at stake.  Even if G. Bush wanted to shake my hand, I would.  It's called being an adult.  The ironic thing is your candidate is preaching for everyone to come together, yet his young followers are some of the most hateful people on these post.  It's time to grow up and start acting like adults and examine the issues and not just what Chris Matthews tells you.
Obama certainly gives a great speech! Hopefully now the media (& the voters) will take a closer look at his record. After 7 years of all talk/no action, I want my candidate to do more than just speak well.
We need to win next November and not wake up on election day with the realization that we nominated a a 2 year senator with little experience to run in the most important election in our lifetimes.
Go Hillary!

I still have hope. An Obama- McCain race would result in a real conversation about where the country should go and how to get there.  A Clinton race will just be another trip through the pig swill of retail politics to see who can get the unmarried mother vote and a Romney-Clinton race will be worse yet. After nearly 20 years of the tawdry Bush and Clinton families, do Americans think this is all some reality TV show?  It is time for a change ….. boy do we need a change (but then Mrs. Clinton said “I’ve made change my whole life”).  I say, “keep that change”.
I am happy to see that it is still an open race, I hated the idea that two states would give us the nominee.
I was looking at Biden and Edwards but any dem would be wonderful.
I agree with some of the posts that we need to get past personal attacks and the politics of hate (don't want more repub politics). If you are not a supporter of Hillary that is fine, attack her on issues.
we are watching the repub party splinter apart, rejoice in that and support your candidate but stop the personal attacks on the other candidates and their supporters PLEASE!
Please, First Read no more hamburger stories, give us all the information you got, we rely on you when the mainstream media is entertaining us, we look to you to inform us.
Thanks New Hampshire voters for keeping it a race.
Go America. Go Dems.
It sounds like some og you are scared of Hilary!!!

GO Hilary! and this is from a 22 year old man not a woman becuase most of you think its just woman who want to see her win! shes got the Experience and Bill could be a great advisor!
The polls show that it was the women of New Hampshire that gaive Hillary the win.  All I can say is that I've lost all respect for the women of New Hampshire.  I though women in this day and age were alot savvier than to fall for Hillary's theatrical performance.  Nominate her for an Oscar, if you feel she deserves an award, but the Presidency... ... ...I don't think so!!
I was so eager to see how Chris Matthews looked like this morning after bashing Hillary and praising Obamo the last month...He looked like a mole wanting to slip in a hole...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CHRIS!!
GOOOOO HILLARY!!!!
