Wow, I could not disagree more with the majority of the comments posted here.  Were we all watching the same debate?  Exactly what makes you say Huckabee screwed up the foreign policy questions?  

I have yet to see any evidence of Huckabee's alleged "stupidity".  His accomplishments as governor in AK are real.  (Yes, taxes may have gone up, but there's a world of difference to this conservative between taxes going to state government for actual improvements and sending them off to D.C. never to be seen again.  Those who purport to love federalism should be willing to support state governments to take care of essential services like highways and education.  That's not "liberal".)  

Huckabee has run a first-rate campaign with very limited resources.  He has been the only Republican candidate to make economic difficulties a major theme in his campaign, which now seems quite timely.  

It sounds like just a bunch of trash-talking going on around here to me.

A lot of people don't seem to understand. The Union has ALREADY endorsed a Democrat for the DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION. They're endorsing Huckabee for the REPUBLICAN NOMINATION. Not against the Democrats, but against the OTHER REPUBLICANS.
