Hispanic leaders in Rudy radio ad

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Giuliani unveiled a new Spanish-language radio ad in Florida, featuring some prominent Miami area Hispanic voices. Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa tout Giuliani’s leadership, referencing the “pain of that Sept. 11,” according to a translation provided by the campaign.

“At that moment, Rudy Giuliani rose to the occasion and showed us his qualities of compassion and leadership,” Sosa says in Spanish. “Let’s vote for the proven leader. Let’s vote for Rudy Giuliani.”

The ad concludes with Giuliani saying, in Spanish, that he approved the message.

Giuliani has been heavily courting the Spanish-language vote in the Miami area, holding his Iowa caucus night rally in Hialeah and giving speeches that are translated into Spanish. It is an interesting strategy for a campaign running in part on the message that all U.S. citizens should be able to speak and understand English. Campaign aides say that does not negate the role of Spanish media.

There are three viable candidates to run against the democrats: 1) Romney 2) McCain 3) Rudy.

Rudy should be the GOP nominee.  Here is the reason why:

i think its great the Mayor Giuliani is the only candidate that is recoginizing the importance of the Hipsanics that coexist with us.
