I think Dr. Paul should have did what he had done in NH and just hold another "town hall" question and answer on a local station. I believe more people would have tuned into that than this disgrace. But what I love the most though, was how no one had a question to ask him in the second part because they were so scared of what his answer might be. You may ignore him MSNBC but you'll never silence him. Nor will you silence those who believe in his messege.

RON PAUL: Champion of the Constitution!
Folks... face it, THEY DO NOT CARE what you think... let's get out and find meet up groups. This was the final straw for me... I will definitely get involved tomorrow.
Wow, you should see the online forums/blogging about the BLATANT MEDIA BIAS, YET AGAIN.

Watch the YouTube videos that will totally change the balance that MSNBC is trying to control.

It is really interesting to see the Old Media committing suicide/self-destructing during this election.

Recent polls have already demonstrated the lower and lower percentages who believe the news media and the higher and higher percentages who believe the news media is blatantly biased, as has been so clearly demonstrated again.

Now, I know why I have quit even pausing on MSNBC while channel surfing.  I won't EVER watch it again after this absolutely mind-boggling "debate".

Watch the blowback that hits MSNBC and its advertisers-

Good job.
I am a 37 y.o. stay at home mom.  I'll admit that I've never followed politics in the past.  This year, I have really taken an interest in trying to learn about the candidates.  I've been looking forward to this debate all week and got my kids in bed just in time to watch.  But it didn't take long for me to start getting really frustrated with the way the debate was run.  Are there no rules for giving equal time to the candidates?  I just don't get it.  The media are SO in control over this whole election.  The unequal time given to the candidates left me really upset and about ready to give up on trying to get involved.  Would someone please hold a debate that gives people like me a real chance to learn about the candidates?!?
Romney: 21:11, during 13 times
McCain: 16:00, during 13 times
Giuliani: 13:50, during 11 times
Huckabee: 12:11, during nine times
Paul: 6:31, during six times

This is an absolute disgrace. Rudy Giuliani has placed LOWER than EVERY OTHER candidate in the majority of primaries and caucus, including Ron Paul.

The speaking time given to Ron Paul (or should I say, not given to Ron Paul) does not serve the best interest of democracy, or the best interest of the people who have voted for him OVER Rudy Giuliani in the majority of early primaries and caucuses.
SHAME, MSNBC. SHAME.

We The People will remember this.

Watch for the barbarians at the gate, guilotines at the ready. Keep looking.
This was a 30 minute informercial for Flip Flomney.

It was soooooo boring to listen so much talking without hearing anything.

Ron Paul owned this "Our Decision 08" farce of a debate. At least it helped me convert 10 people tonight once they saw how these other guys are just a bunch of liberals.
As an expat living in Aruba, I am very concerned about the fate of the U.S. in November.  I am also trying to make up my mind on who would be the best next president of the U.S.  I must say that it is difficult to decide as the news media (FOX, MSNBC, etc) are getting in the way with their childish, scheming manipulations that are so obvious that a monkey could figure it out.  Poor Ron Paul.  He's obviously the best and brightest of the bunch and you guys sandbag him.  What's up with that crap? You newsmen? are spineless and would sell your souls to the devil for a nickel.
NBC, you are now officially no better than Fox News. Ron Paul is crushing Giuliani in votes, so you give him 4 times as much time?

McCain: 27.6%
Romney: 27.0%
Giuliani: 20.4%
Huckabee: 17.3%
Paul: 7.6%
Ron Paul, the best candidate on the stage, doesn't gat the air time he deserves. Trust your doctor! This man has everything America needs it's to bad that the media neglects him in these debates. Check out youtube to get the truth. When someone is afraid of another persons beliefs they simply don't ask. Ron Paul is for a true America!
can anybody explain the huge difference in time allowed above?
Tim Russert did a very poor job asking Romney & Guliani & Mccain over & over, even silly questions about coast insurance.Ver Boring Debate.
Ron Paul is what our country needs and if you listen to some of the youtube videos you'll see what I'm talking about. When a person (or network) is afraid of what a person thinks they simply don't ask!
Paul made several great responses and yet for the entire hour and half of discussion after the debate he was mentioned for maybe 1-2 minutes (and only because of his success in the text poll). I'm going to have to research his positions since he's obviously being censored.
How about an honest debate where everyone gets the same amount of time. I guess we can't have that as that would alow the mainstream media to push the candidates they want to push. Why is Giuliani getting so much medai time and Ron Paul gets next to none BUT Ron Paul has beaten him consistantly in the Primaries.
Does MSNBC actually read these comments? It clearly shows that America wants to hear more of Dr. Ron Paul.  Get on it MSNBC!
That was the most biased debate that I've seen so far. You have managed to be worse than the Fox Debate which I thought would be impossible. It's bad enough that Giuliani was given more than twice the talk time than Dr. Paul even though Dr. Paul has more delegates, total votes & money but the post debate analysis was even worse. Dr. Paul's name wasn't even mentioned until the very end when he nearly won the phone poll with 40%!

P.S. How many times does Dr. Paul have to be asked about running as a third-party candidate before you get the hint & ask him a real question?
What a joke for a debate. The MSM continues to deny Ron Paul the same amount of time as other candidates. NBC, you aren't journalists. You're crooks who are destroying this country.

I serve this country and all you do is embarrass it.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.
While our nation is sinking into bankruptcy, MSNBC managed to ignore Dr. Paul - the only statesman who speaks the truth about the Federal Reserve.  They directed and redirected shallow questions to their favorites. As John, Rudy, Mitt and Huck good-naturedly delivered their rehearsed responses, I thought of the soldiers in Iraq who are bleeding for the cause of empire.  Ron Paul is the only voice we have for freedom and against rule by the military industrial complex and the Federal Reserve.  Tonight, the media figured out a format that would silence him.
Wow.  I actually thought the candidates would all receive the same amount of time/questions---Guess Not! (...wow) This is one of many reasons why most people in this country aren't concerned with voting... This is sad.

Seems like Romney got a good deal; the others--not so much.
after this florida vote hopefully guliani will finally subside and give a chance for candidates that actually place 2nd and third and 4th to actually have some talking time. eh, hem Ron Paul? 2nd place nevada, 2nd place possibly first louisiana? im looking at you Dr. Paul!!
well we got faux news and Main Stream News Biased Continually.I guess were stuck watching gunsmoke for news now.
I used to watch MSNBC...    no longer.  I am ashamed for them that they are allowed to manipulate the less informed public in their twisted propaganda schemes.
There is only one fair way to run these debates - equal time and similar questions to all. It was clear Ron Paul was excluded from the debate, and only prompted rarely to raise issues, not answer them. It makes a travesty of objective journalism and of democracy. I live in Australia, this was the first full length US political debate I've watched, which I was eagerly anticipating, and I was appalled. A waste of my time and Americans.
Dear fellow Ron Paul fans,

Relax.  You'll be at the national convention regardless of the censorship.  Channel the emotion from this event and use it to further the positive goals of the Revolution.  Ron only got a few minutes to speak, but that's because he shines light into the darkness.
If Mike Huckabee was given the same amount of time, he'd make the others (including the folks at msnbc) look more fumbling/fake than they already do/are. Huckabee is an outstanding orator (a REAL human being) and if you read about his issues through his Web site MikeHuckabee.com, you'll see the remainder of his great plan for our nation too. Go, Mike, Go! You've got my vote.
McCain is Bob Dole. How did he look Presidential.

If lying constantly are the requirements for a GOP President.

Well then yeah he looked Presidential.
All the questions from these so called reporters were already prepared in advance so they knew very well that they will exclude Dr. Paul.  Russert has him "I am so smart" questions but does not bother to show enough brains to give equal time.  Everyone knows Dr. Paul knows more about economics than anyone in the stage.  Yes they ask everyone else questions about economics and steal their answers that Dr. Paul gave become (Huckabee actually said abolish the IRS).  These are just staged corporate propaganda than real debates.
I AGREE THERE IS A HIGHER UP PLAYING "MR.PUPPET MASTER"
WITH THE MEDIA NETWORKS.  FIRST FOX DOES TO DR.PAUL NOW MSNBC, C'MON LET THE GUY SPEAK OR ARE YOU TIRED OF HEARING THE SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE FROM DR.PAUL.  GET USED TO IT BECAUSE HE ISN'T A TWO FACED MONSTER LIKE THE OTHER CANDIDATES CHANGING ANSWERS AND ISSUES TO THE SAME QUESTIONS.  SOME HAVE EVEN USED RON PAUL'S ANSWERS WHEN ASKED.  GULIANI PLEASE HAVE THE DEBATE WITH DR. PAUL ABOUT THE FEDERAL RESERVE...AND TO ALL THE THOMPSO SUPPORTERS JUMP ON AND BUCKLE UP IT IS GOING TO BE ONE HECK OF A RIDE.  RP-08'-LOVE!
Wow I'm living here in Ireland and I stayed up until 3:30am to watch this complete and utter rubbish. I can't understand how anyone cannot see the biased media that you all are. Talk about a one sided debate. Next time you should just let the people know what you stand for and just invite the 2 or 3 candidates that you want to speak to. At least that way you can save the rest from the humiliation of standing up on stage waiting for a dam question. At one stage it felt like Romney was the only one on the stage and if the camera didn’t pan out no one would have been the wiser. And as for Huckabee: 12:11 and Paul: 6:31 are you for real? How on earth can you consider this the least bit fair? I wanted to hear all their views and I got nothing but a one sided debate. At least I can take comfort in the fact that I will never watch MSNBC again. I stopped watching Fox 8 years ago during the Bush campaign because of the complete biased opinion and it is becoming increasingly clear that all MSM is the same. One sided news and debates. Thank you for showing everyone how real democracy works, you make a real fine example for the rest of the World to follow.
There is a perfectly good explanation for the bias, and should it actually make it to the page, hopefully some of you will be educated.

MSNBC is a joint partnership between Microsoft and NBC.  NBC is owned by General Electric.  General Electric is also a very big player in the military-industrial complex and prison-industrial complex.

Still with me?

Ron Paul wants to end the war, and stop having bases all over the world and focus our efforts to national DEFENSE (not Offense).  He also wants to pardon any federally-prosecuted non-violent drug offenders and end the "war on drugs" through decriminalization.  This would be, as they say, "bad for business".

Now, should this message actually make it all the way to the forum, hopefully some of you have been informed.  And if not, well, at least the person screening them has.
You mean I had to listen to Huckabee twice as much as Dr. Paul? Disgraceful.
MSNBC and there Democrat Attack Dog Tim Russert should just admit that they want to make the news and decide who should be President, not the American People.  I thought that the Fox News Debates were biased, but damn MSNBC beat them last night.  The debate was boring, no follow-ups to prove statements wrong, and completely unfair in the time given to Congressman Paul and Mike Huckabee.  Hell, MSNBC started off the debate by just talking to McCain, Romney, and Giulani about the economy then skipped Paul and Huckabee to ask another set of questions to the same three.  MSNBC should just put the Democrat Donkey with a Peacock tail on it to use as its new logo.  Tim Russert is a complete pawn of the Democrats and really doesn't care about the American people, only his ideology and ratings.
"Let my people go, that they may serve me." -- Exodus 8:1

MSNBC and especially Tim Russert: You manipulated this debate in order to control what people think about the issues and how they feel about the candidates. Our republic and our sense of morality in this country are in turmoil, yet you keep the people in a sort of mental captivity, not allowing them the freedom to choose for themselves.

Let the people be free to think for themselves. If you do, and if they choose Ron Paul--the candidate most dedicated to peace--you may hasten the day when all of God's children can live here on Earth in peace.

Instead, you are indirectly promoting a system of warfare, theft, racism, and other immoralities. Please stop.
If you ask me the reason for the bias is simple.  MSNBC is parented by GE.  GE has been making huge profits from the wars (past and present).  It's only natural for them to put their spotlight on candidates who will campaign to keep the war going.  Hence, the reason they barely let RP speak.
I find it interesting that those Ron Paul "Nuts" remind me of that bunch of "Nuts" that threw all that tea in the boston harbor years ago.
After watching the first question and seeing how they only allowed the first 3 candidates to answer it, I turned it off. If you're not going to allow every candidate to answer every question (unless directly related to that candidate) then I'm not going to pay attention.
Please correct me if I am mistaken. MSNBC is owned by NBC, who is owned my GE and Microsoft.

GE is a company that is profiting from war.
http://www.corpwatch.org/article.php?list=type&type=16

Microsoft is a company that is profiting from war.
http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/cat/corporation/tc-microsoft/

Dr. Paul is 100% opposed to the war and will cost these companies millions if not billions.

If you read the links you too maybe surprised they let Dr. Paul on the stage or on the air at all.

Wake up America!
There must be equal time for all candidates, there must be fair debates. It's not right for the media to influence the election in this way. It makes no sense to spend so much time on warmongering candidates who are for a war that America and the World hates. There is only one viable candidate and his name is Ron Paul. He's the only one with a reasonable response about Iraq. He's the only one with a real economic stimulus plan.
Corrupt Corporate Media have sold their souls.  The media treatment of Ron Paul during this campaign is very scary.  It has become abundantly clear that what he says is true and we are quickly moving to a type of soft fascism, and the fascists are manipulating the truth to ensure the public chooses corporate/political slavery and NOT freedom.
Look folks, all the media ever wants is perception and sensationalisim, not substance.Journalist are not very intelligent people, it takes little effort to engage their pen/mouth before they engage what little mind they have. Really folks Journalisim is a trashy career for most part.  The William F. Buckleys' are hard to find, but when you do find one it is a rare event. To find a journalist that stands up for real logical discussion is as hard as finding a politician that will do the same. William Buckley was to journalisim what Ron Paul is to politics.
Its called "lying by omission" and you guys are really great at it.

I have already communicated my displeasure to Tom Curry who is as biased against Ron Paul as the rest of you.  Here is what I sent him:

"I leave you with these final words of wisdom. When the dollar collapses, we are in a depression and we reinstate the draft to fight more unwinnable wars for profit, make sure you remember my admonitions.  You had a chance to change all this and you blew it. If Hillary gets elected, give yourself a high-five as you will have helped make it happen.

Yeah, you guys at MSNBC sure are fair and square all right.  I am sure that Brian Williams, Tim Russert and yourself will live well, if you continue to obey orders."

As you may remember, there was another group during WW2 that was just obeying orders too.
I can't find superlatives strong enough to describe how disgraceful I find the behaviour of the US media in it's flagrant determination to prevent Ron Paul getting a fair shake in these debates.

It just makes me more determined than ever to fight the system and restore some honesty and sanity to the political system. The media is totally owned by the establishment corporate oligarchy running America. They are no better than the mafia. What a disgrace
No problem MSNBC - I just checked your web site and your viewers say I won the debate. Probably best you gave my competitors a little more time to speak or the results would have been even more one-sided.
It is a dark hour in liberty when you have a concerted effort to minimize the ONLY candidate that espouses the words U.S. Constitution in every breath and a stop to lied about wars for the future when we BORROW two billion a day. People like adulterer Scarborough and other influencers ought be punished, including war profiteer GE. YOU my friends are truly anti-American and I won't ever forget it.

Your treatment of Ron Paul, a great American is really awful. You should be hiding-out somewhere!
For those of you who don't know, if anyone other than Paul gets elected, it is a matter of time before we are all walking around with chips in our arms with all of our information on them and sharing the "amero" with the Canadians and Mexicans with no Constitution. Don't believe me? Look it up. Paul is for the People...if only the government hadn't dumbed us down so much that we could see that! I don't know about you, but I'm willing to fight for my rights!
Thank you so much MSNBC for making it so much easier to convince my very Liberal family to vote for Ron Paul. We were all disgusted by your bias.
I thought I had decided on McCain but after last nights debate, there is no way I can support him. He avoided every single question he was asked and decided to talk about something else. I've supported the war effort but I am still concerned with how we can afford it. I was pleased when McCain (the most supportive of the war) was asked this question. I was dismayed when he ignored the question completely. He also seems to have the economic knowledge of a 5th grader. I feel ashamed that I allowed the media to trick me into thinking this guy was presidential material.

Now, I see this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioy90nF2anI
Deplorable ! When does the truth for liberty will be finally heard ?
Disgusting.
A perfect example of how the MEDIA is really who controls who is voted for through manipulating the media through propaganda. Wake up america, your country has already been taken over by Marxists who now pull all the strings through their manipulation of media outlets.
