I've been a Democrat longer than an Obama supporter and I am pleading with the Clinton supporters to please realize that we may LOSE the November election if Hillary is the nominee.  Imagine the Supreme Court makeup after another four years of a GOP in the White House.  I swear to God Hillary supporters, you will be about as welcome as a Florida Nader voter if we nominate her and lose the November elections.  Please come to your senses and smell the political reality!!

Why no one ever check Hillary's dishonest and arrogant claim that she is ready to be president on day one? No one before her was ready for president on day one. They all learned from the job and nothing is wrong about it so long as they have good judgement and surround themselves with the right people. But Hillary's poor judgement is evident in her war vote. Her ability to be arrogant and mislead is dangerous to the presidency and to the interest of the public. That she lived in the White House for years doesn't qualify her as a president at all.

I feel Hillary and Bill are bad together especially as a team. I feel if Hillary really had the guts to stand up to Bill she would tell him this is her race and not his. Effidently she doesnt. Even though I feel she will win the democratic nomination to me it shows how a shark she can be. You dont really know how maniputive she can be. Watch out America if you elect this woman.

So much is being made of Bill Clinton's comments contributing to the 81% black vote for Obama in SC.  To what do the talking heads attribute the 83% black vote Obama received in Nevada?

As a 42 year old american and retired servicemember I have ALWAYS voted republican...but not this election: Obama is my prime choice for president.  The only way that I will vote against my party is if he is the one nominated.  If [the] Clinton[s] are nominated all bets are off.  There are many republicans supporting Obama but this will only be borne out in the national election.

I am a Chicagoan who is very excited about the possibility of having a Democrat elected to the white house.
However, the recent behavior of the Clintons has muted my interest in their returning to power. Hill & Bill have
been distorting Barak Obama's record and I am disgusted by the use of these smear tactics.  
It seems the Clintons will do anything to win.
If Hillary should end up running against McCain - this die hard Democrat may be voting Republican in November.

Hillary (unlike senator Obama, who NEVER congratulated HER on her victory in NV) was quick to call with her congratulations. It's his night and his supporters, who haven't had much to celebrate in the last couple of weeks, should enjoy the glow of victory while it lasts.

Andrews Obama is the only candidate who has a national commericial...meaning shown on any TV in the nation watching.  He isn't targeting advertising in Florida.  For goodness sake he wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan unlike Hillary Clinton.  Of course they want the delegates to count.  The Clintons will do or say anything to get to back to the White House and refight that horrible "Vast Right Wing conspiracy".  Heck we got the Iraqi war after a son tried to refight his Fathers battles....what will we get when the Clintons get another term?  I think we will actually get a President McCain and a huge hangover for being so stupid.

A great night for people who really want this country to use its collective genius to rescue us from this Bush mediocrity.

Republican males voted for Obama to fool Democrats. You saw reporters asking on CNN and MSNBC some Republicans and they said they are waiting to vote against Hillary.

I find it interesting that Bill plays down Obama's SC win ( "Jesse won here twice") as they played down the importance of Iowa (" New Hampshire has a real election. It ain't fair in Iowa"). It sounds ungrateful to all the people that DID vote and work for her. It almost sounds, dare I say, like they don't accept responsibility for losing: " Well, we didn't like you anyway!"

To the question about Obama advertisement in Florida. It was a NATIONAL advertisement which you can't take away FL for viewers then, & he was targeting all those other caucus that will COUNT. FL will not count for delegates so I don't see where there is a problem with it? I am trying to say this correctly, she is probably just sorry she had not thought of it first. But since I can't read her mind on that issue, I will give her the benefit of the doubt & just go with the facts. FL can't vote in the caucus since they chose to move their date before Feb 5.

D Andrews, I don't think you understand national TV ad buys.  The networks couldn't exclude Florida from getting those ads even if they wanted to.  Get your facts straight!

I am a life long conservative but I am thrilled with this result.  My greatest hope is that we have an Obama/Romney election come November.  Not because I think Romney will win, but because if that is our choice then we have a real choice.  I think that if either Obama or Romney wins it will greatly help our country.  If it becomes a choice between Clinton or McCain then we are all screwed.

By this point, is it not painfully obvious to anyone who's been paying attention that the Clintons are completely moral bankrupt?  Sure, they've been pulling out every dirty, underhanded trick in the book against Obama - because like the sharks they truly are, it's simply in their nature to do so.

My fear is the exact opposite, if the democratic party elects Obama, the race card will be played for real not this namby pamby pretend stuff they claim the Clintons, but really its the media who are doing it.  The Obama supporters have really ruined Obama's chances by using the race card, and could have noted to reporters that Bill's comments were not about race but to take advantage of the racial makeup in S.C. they fanned the flames right along with the press, who have been grossly and unfairly condescending about Obama and mean about Hillary.  Now the racial divide will show itself in the super Tues. votes.  Its a shame the press did this.  I am disgusted with MSNBC and all their commentators.  They are all scum.

BREAKING NEWS - I just received word by source in the Obama campaign that Caroline Kennedy will be annoucing her support of Obama in tomorrow's New York Times. I read the info, and let me tell you. It IS powerful. I don't remember her ever endorsing a candidate before this time either. It was a moving piece. Make sure you take a look at the info New York Times tomorrow. I also received a copy of Obama's speech for tonight. All I can say is - yes we can America - all Americans no matter what color or nationality you are - think about it. We were founded on that fact that we were from every where in the world. So yes we can!

What kind of sportsmanship is that to say you gave someone a real "butt kicking?"  I am stunned by the arrogance of the Obama campaign and it is just getting more and more obvious as the days go by.  Hillary calls right away and offers up a congratulations to Obama by telephone.  When she won in Nevada he didn't offer up a congratulations.  Instead he offered up the "I've got more delegates so I was the one who REALLY won" speech.  And on top of that we have his campaign complaining that Hillary is breaking a pledge in Florida while not having actually done anything to break it, all the while Obama is running TV ads in Florida and saying "Sorry, but they were part of my national ad buy."  I cannot believe the gall to reprimand somebody for something you are doing, but the other person hasn't done!!!  

Obama used to rate up in my top three candidate choices, but the more the campaign goes on the more reasons I find not to be able to support him.  

As for uniting the country, how is that possible when he inspires such "neaner, neaner" behavior out of his supporters.  I have yet to see such hate come out of the mouths of supporters for other candidates.  I don't think he is uniting his own party, let alone the country.  He is ripping it apart and creating hostility.  

It's funny to me that the race card CAN be used.  I'm sure it's not by Obama himself... he's half white.  Why is that fact never pointed out?  Not that it should matter, but let's face it, because it's a simple  fact a person of black origin has never been nominated for President.  Why is that wrong to point out as opposed to a woman who is elected President for the first time?  Doesn't make sence.

Someone mentioned the Obama campaign running TV ads in Florida.  To be clear:  Those were *national* ad campaigns, and the Obama campaign had asked the DNC to rule on this issue *before* running the ads.

Obama asked the DNC to rule, and followed that ruling.  Hillary is doing the opposite, pushing to overturn a DNC ruling that she alone would benefit from being overturned.  What a sham!

I can't believe Clinton supporters are saying that Obama isn't playing fairly. He is running a national ad; there wasn't a way to pull the Fl. ad. Clinton is actually compaigning there! And she put her name on the ballot in Michigan, despite making a pledge not to campaign. And then she claims victory when she's the only name on the ballot! And she sent out misrepresentations on Obamas record on abortion, when Planned Parenthood gave him a 100% rating, probably costing him lots of women's votes.

As for race, he won the white vote in Iowa, and he only lost by 3 percentage points in NH, so clearly whites are voting for him. And let's face it, it's a lot harder to get white votes in the South, but he STILL got 25% of the white vote in a 3 way race, against TWO Clintons. And in the South, he may get a few less white votes, but he'll get almost all the black votes, and so he should win throughout a lot of the South.

Americans have been learning the real truth about the CLINTONS over the past couple of months: Hillary is an extreme-left socialist whom while in college worked on the BLACK PANTHERS trial in support of these terrorists! Hillary did grad studies with the Calif. director of the American Communist Party. Billy committed treason during his administration by inviting the Communist Chinese Military into the PENTAGON and Larry Livermore labs. I'm an American Military Vet. and many of my fellow Vets. know all of this to be fact too! The Clintons have many dirty money trails to hide which go back to Communist Red China and HOLLYWEIRD! No red-blooded American man or woman would vote for "these two" treasonous individuals no matter how much charisma they radiate! They are dirty, smell of it and try to hide it. If you have personally shaken either of their hands I strongly suggest you spend the rest of your life trying to wash it off of you!

Everyone know's the Clinton's played the race card. They knew all they had to do was make a hint at it and the media would do the rest. Bill Clinton was asked a simple question, after Obama was predicted to be the winner, about Obama running against Him and  his wife and the only answer he could come up with was Jesse Jackson winning twice in the 80's. What kind of answer is that? He is either jumping around the answer like the clinton's usually do or he is throwing the race card out there again. The question had nothing to do with Jesse Jackson or him winning back in the 80's so use your head's!
The cold hard truth is Hillary Clinton can't win the general election because too many Democrats will cross over to vote against her. She is too much like George Bush and the fact that people can't see the similarities is mind boggling! Power hungry, unable to cross party lines, stubborn and unwilling to listen to anyone who doesn't agree with her, polarizing, typical politician who avoids direct answer's to any question and who won't show the American public an ounce of proof of her so-called "experience and judgement" until after the election's, now why is that? She has gotten very good at blaming everything that doesn't go her way on something or someone else. The first thing a good President has to be able to do is take responsibility for the bad decision's as well as the good. She still will not take responsibility for the Iraq vote or the Iran vote and that is a very good indication of a lack of integrity. All she want's is to be remembered as the first woman president and the power that comes with it. If I were you I would record every one of her speeches from this point forward because if for some strange turn of events that she would win the nomination and the election then that will be the only way you will remember what she said because you won't ever see it happen. What happened to common sense in America? The Clinton's will do and say whatever is necessary to get what they want and this is well known throughout the country. If you think the Rezco garbage is true then wait and see what the Repub's do to Hillary if she win's the nomination. They have endless dirt on her and Bill and Rove will institute a camapign against her like they have never seen. You know and I know she doesn't stand a chance. ummm you may not be aware, but Hillary, with super delegates, is giving Obama an ass kicking. She has more delegates. After Super Tuesday he is a distant memory. And if Obama pulls out a win somehow, I'll vote for any republican over him and this is coming from a lifelong democrat. I'm tired of the race card..the white people are out to get me card..and he is playing it brilliantly.

This is absolutely true!  Several Presidents out of 43 have made the claim that the presidency is a unique position to hold and NO ONE can be totally prepared to take on this occupation.  As we look into our history of presidents, not even a president that serves two or more consecutive terms is exactly prepared for what may be in store the second term as they were comfortable with operations in their first term.  Thus, I don’t see HOW Hillary is making the allegation that she has “experience” or is prepared to “hit the ground running.”

In addition, where would she have received her “experience?”  Most “first ladys” may start a specialized group or get involved with support groups or minor politics simply because they are NOT a part of the immediate political “ring” of the United States President.  There is NO possible way she could have gained ANY valuable insight to the occupation of the president.

Finally, I can understand if she put her name on the ballot about 6 or 7 years ago when things were nearly the same as when Bill was president but, that was so long ago and if the DID by chance catch a few important conversations in passing, it is FAR out dated!  What good is information from nearly ten years ago in todays presidency?...NOT.

Finally, lets look at her campaign conduct; it isn’t good!  She is reverting back to the old, OLD days of campaigning when one thinks that popularity, fame and money so easily buys our votes.  Well, I think people are valuing their opinions in these current days and are not so easily selling them out to the richest, most popular candidate.  She is taking a “lobbyist” approach to buying out the white house.  This is the type of politics Obama is trying to STOP!  This is the reason why he had the reform done that exposes lobbyist!  So our political system will NO longer be controlled and dictated by this sort of profound system; the exact strategy Hillary is trying to use to swindle the Oval Office!

Way to go America!  Open your eyes and realize it is time for a MAJOR change!  We need to finally be able to gain structure to the entire political system!

To the Chicago resident that wrote this article, it is good to see that you are acknowledging Sen. Obama and realize that the Clintons have gone above and beyond to discredit Barack.  I think your statement is very valuable to the rest of the nation because you are native to Chicago, you speak of sound knowledge of Barack and the situation.

I am from New Hampshire and I know that things did not transpire as honestly as what was led to believe by the media.  There was a lot of manipulating and control tactics along with discrediting which really made me upset and I think the only way to get those to understand that are yet waiting for their state caucus is to inform them of certain negative tactics and try to inspire people to beware of false statements and lies!  I think Barack ran a pretty honest and straight forward campaign in this state; I wish I could say the same for another candidate.  When I realized these wrongful tactics, I immediately considered that if I vote in this candidates favor, I am putting this level of wrongful politics and dishonesty in the White House.  So, I changed my vote!

Also, I absolutely agree with your analysis of Hillary and her likeness to George Bush.  I think America has become so well adjusted to the current Bush adminstration that they are considering voting for Hillary out of simple association.  I don't think they are realizing how similar they truly are!

I truly feel that she doesn't have much geniune concern for the well being of the public.  She may talk this up pretty good but, there just doesn't seem to be much truth about her.  I believe she may get things done but at what cost?  How will this extend the suffering of the American people?  The words are honest but I question the honesty of her character...

I have seen the comments by Caroline in the NYT and am deeply moved. Many of us middle-aged folks remember the past and the dream that was America. If she feels that Obama can be the future of the country, then I am with her. That may sound simplistic to you cynical folks out there, but maybe I'm just tired of being cynical after all these years.
I will vote for Obama in California, I would never vote for Hillary anyways. I kinda like the sound of an Obama/Edwards ticket right now. Smells like fresh air, blowing the crap out of politics.
