It's Barry with his 80% of the AA vote, and little else splitting the party. When he gets 10% of the Hispanic vote in YOUR STATE tonight, will you call for him to step aside?
How a little lady get to be gov.Probably aman had to get her elected WOMEAN KNOW BEDROOM KITCHEN BACK IN WITH YOU ALL.OBAMA WAS FIGHTING FOR WOMENS RIGHTS WHEN GOV<KATHLEEN WAS GOING TO THE PROM
Whu dont you guys announce that rep maxine waters endorsing hillary today....Thats a major endorsement.....MSNBC now becoming like fox..You guys are soooooooo pro obama and anti clinton.....
well, that is hardly an endorsement. i am a democrat, but her speech was so bad!
Bill Clinton endorsed Hillary and that's good enough for me. He did more for our working people than any other president in the last 40 years. Some say it's a Bill & Hillary ticket, I can only hope. Would it be so bad to have such a vass amount of experience and knowledge at home? Hillary has what it will take and it doesn't hurt to have President Clinton on her side.
Governor Sebelius:  you are a traitor.  You should no longer consider yourself a woman.  You have sold out every woman who believes that women should be treated with respect and given the same opportunities as men.  After watching you speak last night in the Democratic response to the State of the Union, we were starting to get excited that you could be the next woman President of the United States.  We will no longer support you.  You think like a man and are obviously working to further a patriarchic hierarchy.

Signed, NOW-NY and Blind Hillary Supporters everywhere who forget the "real" woman they're supporting stayed by a man who had sex with a 19-year old intern in the Oval Office.
Another respected white woman endorsing Obama. Wow. Very inspiring to see leaders make decisions based on substantative issues versus gender or race.
Hardworking single mother of two holding two jobs here is endorsing Senetor Hillary Rodham Clinton
{ Now the Hillary supporters are going to bash Kathleen Sebelius. }

Of course the are. From Hillary's point of view, you're either with her, or against her.
Chuck,
Don't listen to the petulant children whining about how they're no longer going to read your blog, watch MSNBC, etc.

They know if they want to hear 100% spun news, they can just go to hillaryclinton.com or NOW-NY's website.

You have millions of Americans who know you're not trying to "slant" the news or twist things to favor one candidate or the other.
This is old news.  People knew this weeks ago and the commericals for Obama are already in the can.
Knoxville, TN,

So that means you want a man who lied to a Federal Jury back in the White House?  I don't care whether you think it was a justified probe or not.  Lying to a Federal Grand Jury is lying to a Federal Grand Jury.

And, I guess that means you want a man who seduced and had sex with a 19-year-old intern in the Oval Office back in that Oval Office.

Really?  REALLY?
Just heard Obama is for providing lawyers to all enemy combatants.  Give me a break.  How much of your tax dollars would be used to assist the people trying to kill your sons and daughters under an Obama presidency?  I guess all of this "Hope" and "Change" is going to be to the benefit of America's enemies since all the lawyers currently providing assistance to terrorist have given their endorsement to Obama.  VERY REVEALING!
You're either with Hillary, or you're with the terrorists.

-Signed NOW-NY and the millions of Hillary supporters who support her regardless of what she says or does
I can not recall who first stated this, but it warrents repeating.  If Hillary Clinton cannot unite the Democratic party, but rather pushes it to the brink of a damaging split, then how could she ever unite the entire country?  Not only is this an issue of the general election, but of coming together to face the multitude of issues we will deal with during the next Presidential term.  As a Democrat I am sad to say that if neither Barack Obama or John Edwards becomes the nominee, I will likely cast my vote for John McCain.
Hillary supporters -- First Read is not yet mentioning Waters because they have not personally confirmed it themselves. That's how they work... they hate getting scooped. I'm sure as soon as the 1pm ET conference call rolls around, they'll post it here.

Obama spin masters are spinning the classless Obama snub which shows his arrogant, cocky behavior for a fellow Democrat.
An American Who Doesn't Need the News to Always be about him (Sent Tuesday, January 29, 2008 11:52 AM)

I agree with your impressions on Chuck Todd. I have never seen him favor one candidate over another. He's the one person I don't mind listening to. He's interesting and gives us insightful information on all aspects of this presidential election. Plus he's respectful to his audience. Very well mannered when he's on air. At least I think so.
MSNBC becoming like Fox? You bet. Matthews has crowned Obama king of the dems. At least Olberman was a little more even last night. I am so tired of all the Hillary bashing. The Maxine Waters endorsement IS a big deal. Will msnbc give it half the coverage that they gave to Kennedy's? I doubt it. Maybe msnbc can spin the Waters endorsement into racial bashing, too.
Why are women required to support Hillary?  Any time a woman supports Obama the Hillary people claim they are betraying Woman's Rights.  Silly.  Anyone can support whomever they choose.  This is America and we are free to support whoever we want.  Grow up Clinton supporters!
Sebelius endorsement is just another one from someone who apparently doesn't want the Democrats to retake the whitehouse.

Guys,
Obama is very eloquent and sounds good, but he does not has the experience for the job. It's simple as that.
Maxine Waters' endorsement of "Billary", when contrasted against Senator Kennedy's endorsement of Obama, is just silly. I can grab 10 average Americans and ask them "do you know who Maxine Waters is?" and 9 of 10 will go "who?!" But try that same exercise with Kennedy and see what happens. Regardless of Kennedy's past, he holds a lot of power and resources, which are now at Obama's disposal. And you "Billary" people who discount Kennedy's endorsement and frown on him...remember, just three days ago Clinton herself was begging for that same endorsement. 2008....Anybody but Hillary!!

SF, CA aka Sierra, SF

We know you can be low life and low class. But your fixation with someone's libido and personal matter is utterly disgusting.

But that kind of low class behaviour is what we expect from Obama supporters! You all will bring disgrace to this country!
Every endorsement matters because of super delegates.  Since every super Tuesday state will have split delegates, this race will come down to endorsements and Edwards as the King/Queen maker.  The media will cover an endorsement for Obama when it is a so-called establishment figure or a women alot more than others.  Just like the will cover a Clinton endorsement when it is a black man.  It is unfortunate, but that is the media.  Gov. Sebelius is a democratic gov in a red state and has bypartisan appeal.  I would expect her to support Obama.
Hillary still holds a 17 point lead in CA, plus double-digit leads in NY, NJ, and in this morning's new poll, in Missouri as well.  Tell me how Obama wins this nomination with Clinton so highly favored in the Feb 5th primaries.  He will probably win Georgia and Alabama, for exactly the same reason he won South Carolina.  But the rest of the country doesn't have that kind of demographic, and he's not winning across the country.  I just don't see how it changes in 7 days, barring some incredible blunder by Clinton in the debate in LA on Thursday night.
Why does everybody say Hillary Clinton is splitting the democratic party? I am an Edwards supporter but I think it is stupid to say Clinton is splitting the party.  In a split there are two parts.  Does that mean Obama is splitting the party too?  Are all you Obama supporters willing to admit that?  I think I don't support Obama because of his devil tongued supporters.  Support your cndidate but leave the name calling and stupid accusations out of it!  In other words grow up and when you do (and your candidate does) then we may vote for him!
wow the Kansas Governor is very articulate - plus she is pretty hot tooo

Whoever "I'm Just Saying" is should stop saying anything.  How could you be so against any other candidate, but Clinton.  All 3 democratic candidates are vertually the same on the issues.  I can understand you are representing NOW, however, being for the right's of any gender or race shouldn't cast a vote for candidate.  You are doing exactly what the candidate you support condemns.  It is almost as if you would support a female candidate regardless of credentials, and frankly I think that insults Hillary Clinton more than helps her.
Rob, how can you make that argument when the polls showed Obama ahead with 2 days in New Hampshire by 10%.  Clinton won that state.  Alot can happen in 7 days.  Granted, Clinton is definitely still the favorite in alot of the Feb. 5th states, however, this week has certainly not helped her cause.
"Matthews has crowned Obama king of the dems."

Do you speak English?  I've listened to Chris Matthews tell me that Hillary Clinton will be the next president every night for over a year.

Reading the pro-Hillary posts above (and elsewhere on this site recently), I need to borrow a line from H. Fineman: "How many votes are there in the state of denial?"
Her address last night was fantastic!
For those who are so happy with the Maxine Waters endorsement, look at her "wonderdul" track record in Congress online. Nothing says great like being ranked the 13th most corrupt member of congress by the ethics and responsibility in congress watchdog group. Awful. Clintons = mega-corruption, and they attract the like kind.
How come I'm 34 year old Democrat, and have still never seen a respeectable response to a GOP S.O.U.?
They seem to pick the least charismatic individuals who read off of teleprompters like Steven Segal on SNL.
Where is the objectivity?  How can you write a message about no name calling and throw in the phrase, "devil tongued supporters" when referring to Obama?  Than you list your name as "No Obama (Children shouldn't be president)."  Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a little hypocritical?  I am an objective, undecided democrat who is very happy with his choices for President.
Well, that was a puppet! My how dry, Sounds like they have lost the map to the out house?

Your seeing how and why the DNC has failed.

FINALLY FOUND ONE FEMALE POLITICIAN THAT DOESNT WEAR PANTS
Nah no bashing of Sebelius... she never was close with the Clintons, so her endorsement isn't seen as a slight and I believe, even as a Hillary supporter that Sebelius is a smart and good democrat. That being said, Ted Kennedy is a fake pig and he's more to blame for the 8 years of Reagan than Reagan is. Remember that Ted Kennedy lovers out there however few and far between I pray you are... that your posterchild for the Democratic party, Teddy, refused to back the Democratic nominee against Reagan. Teddy is the personification of that disgusting monicker Reagan "Democrat"
I Have just about tuned out MSNBC, but my wife had turned to it a few minutes ago and Joe Scarborough and female reporter [I do not know her name] were discussing the Hillary Clinton campaign. First I want to point out that in a previous progran, she claimed that she needed to add a "disclaimer" because her dad and her brother were working on the Obama campaign. So any of her comments should be taken with a grain of salt. Now you add ex republican representative Scarbourgh and you get a great mix of unbiased comments. Chuck, chris, fineman, tucker and now olbermann, its really a shame this station has involved to this low degree. It has the lowest ratings of the three stations. FOX,CNN and NMSNBC
Ryan... the polls in NH were exactly correct... they showed Obama's total vote precisely, and they also showed a huge undecided vote, and that vote broke largely for Clinton.  Her number went up in the last day or two, Obama's did not change.  She got most of the undecided voters, and that's why she won.  The polls were NOT wrong!
This is a nice endorsement but nothing like yesterdays. Obama can use all of the endorsements he can get right now.  I'm expecting that Tuesday will be a fairly big day for Hillary. Too bad there wasn't more time for Obama to compete on the name recognition front. It's a shame that this election could be decided by non-college educated voters and those over 65. My parents, living in NJ, fall into both categories and they just won't budge yet. My parents only interest in politics comes about every 4 years. In my fathers case, I think there is a little bit of racism involved, although I believe him when he said he would vote for Obama if he won the nomination.

So the nominee could be decided by voters that pick a candidate much like they'd pick what NASCAR driver they were going to root for. And the 65+ vote...well...look at what they have given us for presidents. I guess out of the bunch the boomers put in office, Bill was the best, but they could have done so much better.

Still, I think this is going to come down to the convention. If Obama can continue to gain support till then, you may see a lot of super delegates break his way. Remember, they aren't pledged. Also, you have to see how Edwards plays the game. His delegates could play a major roll in who gets the nomination. The longer Obama can stay close the better it is for him. If it does indeed come down to the convention the Dems will be forced to take a hard look at who is most electable. Do the super delegates break for Hillary alienating black, young, independent and college educated voters, or do they break for Obama and alienate the 65+ crowd and those voters without a college education that will probably vote for Obama anyway?

But for Obama to pull it off, he must get through super Tuesday without Hillary looking like the clear nominee. Because I'm convinced that Obama can beat Hillary in many of the states after Feb 5th because he will have more time cut through the name recognition obstacle and get his message out. If we still see people endorsing Obama after Feb. 5th, that will be a very promising sign for Obama.

That's just my opinion as an Independent voter.
I am a staunch Republican and always have been. However, after years of being in Iraq and $9 trillion in debt, I'm seriously considering of voting Democrat in protest.  If the election were held today, I would easily vote for Obama. He is inspiring, charasmatic and seems genuinely sincerely in unifying the country to fix our problems. I find Hillary to be venomous and bitter towards Republicans, and constantly attacking and blaming instead of talking about solutions.  Go Obama!
Just want to pass this comment on. Sums it up quite well.
"This whole country needs to hear the truth about the Clintons and stop tip toeing around it. Bill and Hillary have already had 8 years ... and yes, the economy did well, partly because of their work and partly because of what happened in Sililcon Valley. But they had 8 years to pass health care reform, and failed ... had 8 years to reform immigration, and failed ... had 8 years improve the long term condition of Social Security and Medicare, and failed ... Had 8 years to really do something about America's failing schools, and failed ... had 8 years to put in place an energy plan that would lead us to energy independence, and failed. They passed all these unsolved problems on to President Bush just like Bush and Reagan passed them on to them and just like Bush II is goiing to pass them on once again. Instead of solving these problems, the Clintons got bogged down in scandal after scandal and the situation with Lewinski that completely distracted them from their real responsibility. They had their chance ... they had 8 YEARS! It's time to turn the page and move on. It's time to stop the politics of destroying the other side. It's time to pay attention and acknowledge why half the country has such an unfavorable opinion of the Clintons. HALF THE COUNTTRY! These people are not our enemies, they are our neighbors, our co-workers our fellow Americans and many of them absolutely can't stand the Clintons. It's time for real change, not 4 more years of what the country already rejected back in 2000."
